Here is Jailbreak Part 2 as promised.

Read, Review, Enjoy

(Sly POV)

As soon as I got back to the safehouse, Bentley got his slideshow going with the plan.

"Ok Sly, thanks to your efforts, we are ready to attempt a Murray rescue. I call this plan, 'The Trojan Tank'. Step one, we use the Contessa's keys to steal one of her tanks. I'll jump in and drive while you keep out of sight by crawling underneath. With some luck, the guards won't notice anything out of the ordinary and open the prison gates for us. We casually roll in and blast the security doors to Murray's cell block. Once inside, you'll need to improvise your way up to the guards control center and open the doors leading to Solitary Confinement. Let's hope Murray hasn't cracked under the Contessa's hypnosis." Bentley explained the plan. I nodded and we all headed out. Watching Bentley's back and taking out any guards that got in our way, we made it to the tank outside the prison. Bentley climbed inside and raised the tank so I could crawl under, then we got moving.

"I can't see you under there Sly, so be sure to keep out of sight." Bentley said.

"No problem pal."

"We're approaching the prison gates now, let's see if they fall for it." Bentley said as we paused at the gates. Sure enough, the gates opened.

"SUCKERS!" Bentley exclaimed. I chuckled as we rolled up to Murray's cell block. I quickly got out from under as Bentley blasted the doors open.

"Ok, you're all clear. Head inside and I'll be right behind you." Bentley instructed.

"I'm having some trouble sabotaging the tank, go on ahead, I'll catch up." Bentley said. I nodded and pressed on. Some purple spiders were in my way, so I simply smashed them. These creeps were tricky and got some bites out of me. Thankfully they weren't poisonous, just annoying. Once I went through the door to the cell block, Bentley caught up to me.

"Ok Bentley, what's next?" I asked. Bentley looked up and pointed at the tower next to me.

"Well that's the guard's control center, but to be honest, I'm not sure how you're going to get up there." Bentley said before heading over to the gate that surely leads to Solitary Confinement.

"Don't worry about it, thinking on my feet is what I do best." I said confident in my skills. I had to be careful since some of the spotlights were still on. Looking beyond, I saw hooks on the upper levels and pipes to climb on over by the cells. Avoiding the spotlights, I made it over to the cell area and got to climbing. Some of the prisoners got in my way, but clearly they didn't like heights so I just knocked them out of my way. When I got to the top of the cells, I was ambushed by more spiders. I just ran to avoid them and climbed down to the control center. Taking out the guard was easy and I entered the code.

"Ok, I'm running your algorithmic code decrypter. You see anything happening down there?"

"Success! We have access to Solitary Confinement!" Bentley said as he ran through the opened gate to Murray's cell. I followed him as the gate closed behind me. Looking over at Murray in his cell, I saw him in really bad shape.

"Ooh, that looks bad. I've never seen Murray like this" Bentley said.

"He's all twitchy and bug-eyed!" I said concerned about my pal.

"You said he was being forced to eat spice, right?"

"Yea, he said he was feeling weird"

"He's weirded out alright. I doubt he even knows we are here. Clearly, we're going to have to lure him out of that cell the hard way."

"The hard way?" I asked. Bentley nodded and pointed over to those weird contraptions scattered all over the room.

"Those hypno-boxes are designed to highten the affects of spice… and he's already in an agitated state. If we switch them all on at the same time, Murray is sure to become wildly hostile and probably break the door down." Bentley instructed. I nodded while glancing sadly at Murray.

"How do we turn on the hypno-boxes?"

"The power switches are all defended by laser barriers. Get close to one, and I'll hack the system from my terminal down here. That should give you access."

"Let's do it; anything to help out ol' Murray. He's looking really bad." I said. Worried about my friend. I had to avoid the floor lasers and move to the other side of Murray's cell. I quickly made it to the platform above and over to the first panel. I had to wait a few minutes before being able to enter the code. Once a box turned on and began humming, I heard Murray growl out.

"What's that sound? Angry! Get GONE!"

Once I jumped over to the other side, reaching the next panel, Bentley hacked it in no time. Once I entered the code and switched on the 2nd box, Murray sounded off again, sounding angrier.

"I'm a little teapot short and stout, tip me over and I'LL SMASH UP EVERYTHING! RAAAARGH!"

The last panel was across the way, but I got to it with no issues. The last box was turned on and Murray started barking and groaning, before a loud roar erupted from him and he charged out of the cell. I've never seen Murray like this, and it was scary. He roared, pounded his chest and started charging at me.

"Watch out Sly. You need to use Murray's attacks to destroy the hypno-boxes. Just stay out of his way!" Bentley warned. I nodded and jumped down and hid from Murray behind the boxes. He just glared at me and began charging at me with a loud roar. He was really fast when he charged at me so I had to sprint away from him and hide behind all 4 boxes and Murray destroyed all of them in an attempt to attack me. After the last box was destroyed, Murray came out of his rage.

"Ugh, my head. Who? What? Is this Heaven?" He asked.

"Sorry pal, you're no angel." I teased, causing him to smile.

"Just take a deep breath and try to center your thoughts" Bentley advised. Unknown to us, the Contessa was approaching the gate.

"What's all the racket? My conscious mind is a wreck. I ought to… the weak minded hippo is free, and he's got friends! Perhaps it's time to re-evaluate some life choices" She said. Murray was explaining what happened to him and showed us his half of the Clockwerk Heart.

"I'm serious, I managed to keep this half of the Clockwerk heart safe. It was hard to hide from… oh Contessa! SHE'S GETTING AWAY!" He shouted. We turned just to see the Contessa making her escape.

"Murray, lift up the gate so we can get after her. If she gets away, we won't be able to find Regina!" I ordered.

"I'M ON IT!" He said. He lifted up the gates in no time and we chased after the Contessa to the top of the prison wall.

(Murray POV)

After my friends got me out, we chased the Contessa to the top of the prison wall. There she stood and my anger skyrocketed as I glared at her.

"YOU LOUSY, NO GOOD HEAD SHRINKER!" I growled out.

"Come now Murray, we were making such progress during our sessions" Contessa said, trying to calm me down. But she was just trying to stall us.

"The only mental help I need, is to be never reminded of you again!" I said, trying to come up with a comeback. I was never good at that.

"Such displaced hostility. If you insist on being angry, why not be productive about it and channel it at your so-called friends? You know the only reason Cooper freed you, was so he could use you to find Ms. Vulpez. Which for his information is not going to happen." She said, trying to turn me against my friends. Sly stepped in this time with a growl.

"THAT'S NOT TRUE! Yes, I need Murray's help to find Regina, but even if I didn't, he's still my pal! You tried to turn me against my soulmate and now you're trying to turn him against me! You failed once, and you're failing again!" He growled out. I smiled down at Sly, knowing that my pal has always got my back.

"That's it! I'm done talking with my mouth! Now, I talk WITH MY FISTS!" I growled out. The Contessa just smirked at me.

"Sorry, but our time is up!" She said before she started running away.

"GET BACK HERE!" I said. She kept on laying eggs as she kept on moving. The eggs held explosive spiders that I had to take out before I could chase after her again. Eventually I had her cornered.

"I GOT YOU NOW YOU EIGHT-LEGGED FREAK!" I shouted.

"MURRAY NO!" I heard Sly say. But I didn't hear him as I charged at the Contessa. She dodged me and jumped into her Blimp and flew away.

"ARRGH! SHE'S GETTING AWAY! NOW WE'LL NEVER FIND REGINA! I'm sorry Sly, I blew it!" I growled out, angry that I missed her.

"Don't worry Pal, Bentley can track her down. She'll lead us right to wherever she's keeping Regina. And with the 3 of us back together, the Contessa doesn't stand a chance!" Sly comforted me, but I see that he's angry at the Contessa too.

"I'm already hacking into the blimp's navigation system. She'll lead us right to Regina. What do you say we get out of here and take a little break before getting back to work." Bentley offered. We all agreed and got out of there.

(Bentley POV)

It was great, the gang had been reunited and it was all because of me. Even the van ride out of town was like a party. Murray had to pull over twice because he was laughing so hard. But despite all the jokes, I think something had changed. Since childhood, the 3 of us had never been apart. And our recent isolation, had given us pause for thought. Needless to say, we took a few weeks off before getting back to work. And for the first time in my life, Murray let me drive. I could tell that Sly was trying to enjoy himself, but he was still worried sick about Regina. I'm used to see his happy go lucky self, but now I see him just staring at his picture of him and Regina dancing, depressed. I vowed right then and there to do whatever I can to find Regina and make sure she and Sly never separate again!

Jailbreak is complete! Next is A Tangled Web! Will Sly finally save Regina, or will she be lost forever? Stay tuned to find out.
