Summary: Gail was on an undercover assignment for a little under a month and was missing Holly a lot. After she came back Frank asked her to cover a shift. He let her choose to patrol or to go to the stadium where a Hockey game would be, and so after patrolling Gail goes over to Holly´s still dressed in her uniform while the hockey game was still on.

Notes: In case you were wondering, I went through my files on Google docs and realized that I have a lot of stories that are actually written but not uploaded, also most of them are not beated, sorry for any mistakes. Also you should know that Dan is Holly's brother and Jordan is his wife / Holly's best friend

*knock knock*

Wondering who it could be, Holly peers through the door viewer and sees Gail. She opened the door immediately. Gail stepped forward turned Holly around and pressed her against the wall while she was pulling her hands behind.

"Dr. Holly Stewart you're under arrest," Gail said sternly, closing the cuffs around Holly's wrists. "You are accused of assaulting an officer. Everything you say can and will be used against you."

Gail could see Holly's skin redden and heard someone behind them burst out laughing. She turned around and looked over to Holly's couch where Jordan, who laughed, was sitting along with Holly's brother who looked at Jordan in disbelief.

Immediately Gail took a step back and wanted to flee, God she wanted to run away so badly but there was something in Holly's eyes that stopped her from doing so. So instead she turned around and leaned her back at the wall besides Holly's door outside her flat. She looked down defeated and Holly could see the dark bags under her eyes.

"Gail," Holly stepped towards the blonde who was looking too embarrassed to even look up.

"Come on, look at me," the brunette said as she took another step closer. Holly leaned her head against Gail's and waited for a reaction when she didn't get one she decided to take another step forward until their bodies were touching.

"You're back," she whispered and Gail nodded.

"I should have called first, it was stupid to assume you'd be alone. I mean you're very social and you have lots of friends and I don't and I…" Holly cut the blonde off by pressing her lips against Gails. Gail tangled her hands in Holly's hair and pulled her even closer as she pressed her lips against Holly's more. After a few moments they pulled apart.

"Uhm… Gail, could you?" Holly said while lifting her shoulders a little. Gail reached for the keys in her pockets and uncuffed Holly who hugged her immediately. They stayed like this for a few moments not saying anything but both feeling their bodies relaxing.

"You want to talk about what happened?" Holly asked tentatively once they pulled apart. Gail shook her head and buried her face in Holly's neck.

"You want to come inside?" Holly tried again.

"Can we just, can we just stay like this for a few seconds," Gail asked. Holly nodded and stroke her girlfriend's back softly. Their moment was interrupted as a woman from inside yelled.

"What Holly got arrested and you just let that happen?"

Holly chuckled and whispered in Gail's ear, "Guess my Mom is out of the washroom now."

Gail looked at her, panic obvious in her eyes, she definitely didn't think this through. "It's Hockey, love, they all are here," Holly whispered and leaned forward to kiss the blonde's forehead trying to calm her down.

"You want to take a raincheck or meet them?" Holly asked.

"Honestly, I just want to curl in bed with you for the next five days," the blonde pouted. She took a deep breath, took Holly's hand in hers and nodded.

"Let's get this over with", she said before she pushed herself off the wall.

Holly opened the door again and stepped inside, Gail right behind her.

"Holly, what the hell happened. Jordan said the police handcuffed you," Holly's mom said and stared at her daughter. Holly looked over to her best friend and found her smirking.

"Yeah that was me," Gail said timidly stepping out from behind Holly. Holly's Mom stared at the Officer in front of her but did not say anything.

"Mom, this is my girlfriend Gail, Gail this is my mom," Holly introduced the women friendly. She let her hand rest on Gail's lower back and looked at her mom intendly.

"Oh Gail, I thought you'd be still undercover. Holly didn't say you were back. Please call me Stacey, are you hungry," Stacey rushed the words out.

"Thank you. I'm very hungry yes. I came back today," Gail said. When Holly's mom was halfway in the kitchen Gail turned to her girlfriend, "now I know where you have it from." Holly looked at her puzzled.

"The words Holly," Gail smiled and followed Stacey to the kitchen. When she entered the room a plate was already set up for her.

"You're not veg right? I mean it be totally okay if you were, its just I have way more non-veg food prepared," she rushed out as she placed loads of chicken pops on her plate.

"No ma'am I'm not," Gail answered friendly.

Gail dug in her food with Holly's hand resting on her thigh. She missed the blonde snarky Officer more than she'd like to admit. Once Gail had convinced Stacey that she was full they all joined the others in the living room.

"Holls, I'm just gonna go and get changed if that's okay with you?" Gail asked her girlfriend making her way over to the bedroom already. Holly followed her and closed the door behind her. Gail was already unbuttoning her shirt.

"Just grab whatever you want, I did the laundry today," Holly said as she stepped in behind Gail.

"Are you really okay with everything?" Holly asked softly.

"Yes baby, I mean I would have loved to just curl in bed with you and furthermore meet your parents under different circumstances but they seem nice and I think it just makes it easier that everyone is here," Gail replied.

"I didnt know youd be back today, Traci said they dont know yet how long itll take," the brunette said as she pulled a shirt over Gails head.

"Thats true, it all went faster than expected and we could get them today, we basically caught them in the act. I rushed over to the station but Ollie asked me to cover the rest of the shift with him coz his partner fell ill and so I did. it saved me from writing reports," Gail said breathing in Hollys scent.

"Why didnt you call me?" Holly asked.

"I wanted to surprise you," Gail replied and placed her lips on Hollys. In that moment it didnt feel like any time has passed. They kissed lazily for a few moments before Holly pulled away.

"As much as Id like to continue, Im not ready to face Jordans teasing the next few years," she said laughing and pulled Gail closer once more.

They joined Hollys family a few moments later and cuddled up on the couch for the last few minutes of the hockey game. Holly did not even realize that her team turned the game around and was now about to win. She was too consumed in her girlfriend and the fact that after a month she was finally back with her.

It was her father who brought her back to reality as he yelled and once the referee blowed the whistle ending the game.

They all celebrated the victory together and even Gail joined in the Stewart victory dance after Jordan told her that there was no escape now that she was part of the pack.

"Gail tell me, why did you cuff Holly tho," Jordan asked smirking as Holly's parents were in the kitchen cleaning up the remainders from the living room. Holly's brother stared at his wife shocked.

Gail blushed furiously and hated her fair complexion in that moment.

"Jo," Holly warned her best friend and turned to her girlfriend, "just ignore her."

"It's okay Holls, are you jealous Jordan," Gail smirked at the other woman her snarky self back.

"Want me to give my old cuffs to Dan?" She added looking to Holly's brother. It was Jordan's time to blush with the others laughing at her.

"What's so funny kids?" Holly's Dad asked as he entered the room.

"Jordan got some of her own medicine," Dan laughed before kissing his wife's cheek. Jordan pushed him away lightly before she stuck her tongue out at him and they all started laughing again.
