Evil alliance! Scourge and Fleetway the Hedgehog
escape Espio the Chameleon's assault once again.
With their plan to build a crime organization
in peril, the brothers' fate is about to be
changed forever as they drift barely alive,
through unknown space...
Scourge and Fleetway were lying unconscious in the escape pod with frost forming over them and the craft. The two of them were barley breathing when a light suddenly shined into the cockpit. A ship captured the pod, and the door was suddenly cut open. Two Diamond Cutters entered followed by Smithy and Whisper. The former walked up to Scourge and saw his lightsaber "What are you?" "Should we kill them?" Whisper asked. "No. I want to hear their story. If they're an enemy of the Shinobi, then they're a friend of mine. Load them up".
Scourge began to regain consciousness; he opened his eyes and saw that he was in a tent and was lying on a medical bed with robots working on his legs. They were now repaired and not only that they now had fake skin on them. He looked to his left and saw Fleetway still unconscious with robots working on him as well "Fleetway" he tried to get up. Smithy and Whisper enter the tent, "Where are we?" Scourge asked. "You're in my camp on the planet of Drak" Smithy answered. He then stared curiously at Scourge "You're not Shinobi. So what are you?". Scourge snarled and tried to get up, Whisper responded by pointing her wispon at Fleetway with it coloured orange. Scourge reluctantly sat back down "We are Raiju". "Do you serve Dimitri?" Smithy asked, "I serve no one". "I thought there could only be two Raiju, a master and an apprentice". Scourge looked to Fleetway "We are brothers. The true Lords of the Raiju". "What happened to your ship?" Smithy asked as he gestured for Whisper to lower her wispon. "Destroyed by the Shinobi" "Do you know which Shinobi" "Espio the Chameleon" he said with venom in his voice. This pleased Smithy "And what do you seek now, Raiju" "Fortune and power" Scourge said bluntly. Smithy turned to the medical robot "Do what you can for them" he and Whisper left the tent.
That night Scourge was taken out of the tent by a guard and taken to another where a group of wispons were drinking. Smithy sat down at a table "Time for tea? Come join me". Scourge hesitantly sat down opposite him and Smithy passed him a drink "It's good for your health". Scourge took a sip of the drink "I didn't know there was a Wispon colony this far out" "We are the Diamond Cutters, descendants of the true warrior faith all wispons once knew". Smithy stood up "Now my people are living in exile because we will not abandon our heritage. Our people were warriors, strong, feared. Now they're ruled by the new Wispons who think that being a pacifist is a good thing. They've given away our honour and tradition for peace. Duchess Liza and her corrupt leadership are crushing our souls, destroying our identity. That is our struggle". Scourge stared at him curiously "If they're so weak, why haven't you done anything?" "The duchess has powerful allies, including your Shinobi friend, Espio. He is also responsible for our exile. Perhaps fortune brought us together". Scourge stood up "It is the will of the Force. We can help you win Planet Wisp", Smithy nodded "And punish Espio for his trespasses". Whisper then walked forward looking distrustful "We allied ourselves with Raiju before. Dimitri, he betrayed us. Raiju are no better than Shinobi" this seemed to trigger something in Scourge. "They claim to be powerful, but we put these two back together after the Shinobi gutted the-" she started to choke and rose up in the air. They then saw Scourge raising his hand with her "Doubt won't get us very far". All the Diamond Cutters raised their wispons "Hold!" Smithy told them. "Our combined strength will be rewarded. Planet Wisp will be yours, and Espio, this Raiju pretender Dimitri, and the rest of our enemies will fall" Scourge dropped Whisper who began to cough. Smithy smirked "Check on your brother. We'll put it to a vote". Once Scourge exited Whisper stood up and smirked.
Fleetway finally woke up and saw the medical bots surrounding him, he immediate grabbed them and threw them away when he realised, he now had a new arm with fake skin on it. "You should rest, apprentice. You're safe", Fleetway saw Scourge walking in. He leaned back down on his bed and examined his arm, it looked exactly like the old one except it felt heavier on his shoulder. "Our crash was found by enemies of the Shinobi, and we are in their care" Scourge told him, "Are we prisoners?". Scourge paused before answering "No. Allies. They have much to offer, including a planet. They're strong and unlike pirates, they have honour" "Another weakness" Fleetway said. Scourge held his brothers' hand "They don't know of our intention. And it will stay that way until it is too late". They then heard Smithy and Whisper enter, the former noticed the broken robots "I see you have your strength back". Fleetway with some struggle managed to stand up, "I never got your names" Smithy said. "I'm Scourge. This is Fleetway" he said trying and failing to sound friendly. Smithy nodded "Our brothers are in favour of an alliance to liberate Planet Wisp". "This duchess of yours will soon discover the true burden of peace" Scourge answered.
Scourge and Smithy were walking together "Your people are strong and skilled, but you'll need an army to free Planet Wisp" "There are more on the planet who'll join us". This didn't please Scourge "We won't get their help until we gain a foothold on the planet. We can assemble an army, beginning with the Destructix". Smithy was surprised by this "They're a crime syndicate. Hardly a force to rally with" "They have resources we can use without attracting attention form the Republic".
Four wispon shuttles headed to Flame Core and landed at a base on the side of a cliff. Our group exits the shuttle and see a group of guards being led by a male frog wearing flight goggles on his forehead. "They will serve us well" Scourge said upon seeing them. The two sides stopped in front of each other "We request an audience with your leader" Scourge said trying to sound respectful. "It'll be your funeral" the frog replied as he chuckled. Scourge, Fleetway and Smithy were taken inside a large room where the Destructix leaders were sitting at a table. "Why do you come here?" the tiger at the end of the table asked. "We're looking for an army" Scourge answered which seemed to offend the leaders "Fools. We are not mercenaries. Dispose of them. Keep their ships and weapons". The guards including the frog advanced on the three of them. Smithy raised his Wispon as Fleetway grabbed one of the guards and snapped his neck before throwing him on the table. Scourge stepped forward "This is your last chance to join us" "Quiet. We are the Destructix!" all the leaders stood up in defiance. Scourge sighed "Very well, then" he ducked down and Fleetway ignited his lightsaber and threw it across the table. Its spinning allowed it to remove the heads of all the leaders. The frog looked in shock as their bodies fell. Scourge turned to him "I believe you're in charge now. What do you say to my offer" "After careful consideration, we will join you" "Show us your supplies".
The Destructix were aiding the Diamond Cutters in loading their ships with supplies. Scourge was watching as Smithy came up behind him "We have our army now. I have a plan to undermine Liza". Scourge turned to him "The army isn't ready for the duchess" "With my plan, we won't need a bigger force". Scourge took a step closer to him "There is only one plan. One vision". Smithy didn't look intimidated "And it belong to the Diamond Cutters" "Your vision lacks clarity. Without us, you have no army and no reason to replace the duchess. You'll hopefully see it in time. Just watch and learn" he said condescendingly. Smithy glared at him as he walked away.
Back at the camp Scourge and Smithy were examining a hologram of Planet Wisp when they saw three shuttles fly overhead. They landed just outside of the base "More criminals" Whisper said with obvious irritation as she walked with Smithy and Scourge. "Battle Kukku Empire are connected to all the crime families on Mobotropolis" Smithy told her. A group of birds being led by one wearing a black hat and blue glasses "We know you've been forming an army" "Were you expecting us?" Scourge asked. The bird nodded "Underworld's a small community. I have no desire to oppose you. We come to join you". Smithy walked forward and shook his hand "Very good. Then ready our troops. We leave for Ox Hutta immediately".
Scourge, Fleetway and Smithy were in the Iron Dominion palace standing before the leaders. Jun Kun, who was a hologram, spoke "Why have you come before us?". "The Iron Dominion controls many things that would be useful to us" Scourge told him. "And how much will you give us for this aid" "We don't have any rings". This angered one of the oxen "Then what are offering us?". Scourge stared coldly at all of them "Your lives, in exchange for Iron Dominion's Space and everything in its borders". The oxen all laughed "Dispose of them" Jun said then Hunter with his robotic wolf jumped up onto the table. Blade, Pred and Opal then appeared, the shark threw a knife directly at Scourge's head but Fleetway lifted his arm and stopped it with the Force. Scourge who didn't even flinch then grabbed the knife and threw it on the table. Jun suddenly looked scared as the bounty hunters fired on the group. The Raiju ignited his lightsabers and shielded Smithy form fire. Guards entered the room but Fleetway quickly dealt with them. Smithy's wispon turned red and it shot fire at the bounty hunters forcing them to take cover. The three of them then ran back out onto the landing platform and the bounty hunters chased them. They were surrounded by al sides on the platform when a fireball hit a group of guards blowing them up. They looked up and saw Whisper with a group of Diamond Cutters hovering above them.
She laughed "I see negotiations have gone as planned" "Secure the platform!" Smithy told her. The Diamond Cutters descended and wiped out most of the guards "Retreat! Back inside!" Blade told the bounty hunters who followed her. The Diamond Cutters ran inside and entered the meeting room. Scourge, Fleetway and Smithy followed but were jumped by Blade who attacked Scourge. Hunter then appeared and created a red shield with his wrist device which he threw at Fleetway. Scourge ignited his lightsaber and was about to kill Blade when Hunter's robot dog jumped on him. Hunter was fighting Fleetway who tried to repeatedly strike him with his lightsaber. Hunter was safe because of his shield but was getting pushed back to the wall. Smithy had the Darksaber and was killing the remaining guards. Scourge managed to push the dog off with the Force damaging it. Blade punched him in the face, but he used the Force to strangle her before throwing her against the same wall as Hunter. Pred and Opal saw this and threw smoke bombs "Come on! Come on!". Hunter, his dog, and Blade followed them down the corridor. Fleetway was about to go after them but Scourge stopped them "Let them go. They're only bounty hunters. They don't have any allegiance". They headed to the meeting room "Sir, the leaders have escaped. Except one" they were told. They saw Whisper pointing her wispon at an older Ox in red armour. "Where are the others?" Scourge demanded, the ox cowered before them "Please, don't hurt me". Scourge turned his back to him "Kill him" he told Fleetway who ignited his lightsaber. "No, wait, please!", Scourge turned back to him "Tell me where they are". "Sandopolis. Sandopolis!", Smithy looked to Scourge "The Iron Palace". Scourge tilted his head "So the only thing you can tell me is that I can find the Iron King at the Iron Palace?". He looked to Fleetway who raised his lightsaber above his head and then swung it down on the screaming Ox.
The ships entered Sandopolis' atmosphere and fired down on the Iron Palace killing the guards outside. They landed and Scourge, Fleetway and Smithy exited and entered the palace. They entered the throne room with Whisper and her men following behind. Fleetway was carrying two dead guards which he threw in front of Jun. He smiled "I must admit I'm impressed" "Give up, Jun. You're the only ones left" Smithy ordered. "Join us or pay the price" Scourge told him. Jun laughed "Very well. The Iron Dominion shall join you".
Smithy and Scourge walked out of the palace together "Between the Destructix, Battle Kukku Empire and the Iron Dominion, we'll have a large reserve of muscle and supplies". Scourge nodded "Yes" "I'm curious to hear the rest of your plan". Scourge smirked "The plan has grown. You'll rule Planet Wisp, and under your protection, I will command a new galactic wide underworld". Smithy stopped for a second and hid his anger before continuing "Planet Wisp influences a league of 2,000 neutral systems. It gives you a great deal of options for your enterprise". Scourge condescendingly smiled "You're learning. With their combined strength, the Republic and the Separatists will be irrelevant". "Then are we ready?" Smithy asked, "Yes. Get the army ready. Send scouts to the capital. I want a list of targets vital to the security of Planet Wisp. Chose carefully. You won't get a second chance". Scourge walked away and Smithy went over to Whisper who was watching them. "Stay focused. Planet Wisp will soon be ours, and Scourge and his brother will be dead" "And the Duchess?" Whisper asked. "I gave you my word. She'll live" Smithy told her before walking away.
