Chapter 9: Escape
Back in the lab, Riley was tossed into some crates as one of the were-sheeps came at him as one cornered Terran.
"No, wait! WAIT!" Terran tried to reason the beast, only for it to grab him by his arms and spun him around as he screamed.
"Whoa, whoa! Man, major spin cycle!" He said as he screamed while the beast kept spinning him around.
Then the were-sheep Riley tangled with grabbed him and tossed him at Ambrea and Melody as he screamed before he collided with the two, but this caused them to fall to the ground.
The three groaned and got up when they heard Terran screaming.
"Terran?!" Riley and Ambrea asked in shock of what they were seeing.
"Whoa! Maybe I should've brought hay with us!" Terran screamed as the monster flung him over the others at some empty stacks of canisters as they collapsed on him.
Then he got up and shook his head off from the dizziness.
"Man, now I know what a postal package feels like." Terran replied as his family and Melody came over to check his health.
"Hey Terran, are you okay?" Ambrea asked her brother.
"Yeah." Terran answered his sister.
Then they saw the monsters closing in on them as they growled.
Riley spotted the exit door and said. "Come on, we gotta get outta here!"
They went to the door and closed it before locking it up.
Angus groaned in anger before turning to his mutants. "Stop them!"
Heard of what Angus said, one of the were-sheep went to the door and banged on the door in order to open it.
The other door opens as Riley, Terran, Ambrea, and Melody ran throw it to hallway.
"This is crazy! He's gonna kill us!" Ambrea cried out as they ran down the hallway and turned to the left, only to see the agents coming to the scene from the left.
"There they are!" One of them shouted, causing the four to gasp in horror before continuing running straight down.
"We gotta get out of here now!" Terran shouted as they ran to an elevator.
"Freeze!"
They turned to see the agents walking from the end of the hallway to where they are with guns armed.
This caused them to back up at the elevator as one of the agents ordered. "Put your hands in the air!"
Riley, Terran, Ambrea, and Experience didn't obey.
"I said put your hands up!" The agent ordered before he and his men got sprayed by some white smoke out of nowhere.
Suddenly some punching and smacking sounds were heard in the smoke.
The smoke cleared away to reveal the agents were knocked down by Logan, who had just escaped the room.
Logan turned to his family and said. "Guys!"
"Logan!" Riley, Terran, Ambrea, and Melody exclaimed.
Then Logan turned to see Kirby out of the ropes and chair come around the corner as Logan said. "Come on, Kirby! We don't have a lot of time left!"
The two went over to the others as Riley, Terran, and Ambrea hugged Logan.
"Are you okay, buddy?" Terran asked his cousin.
"I'm alright. Oh, hey guys, we got the T.G.R.I. professor." Logan mentions Kirby to his family.
"That's great. Now come on!" Melody said as the six entered the Elevator.
Suddenly a bleating roar was heard and they turned to see the were-sheep monsters coming after them.
"Quick, get in!" Logan ordered as they all got in and the doors closed.
Riley quickly pressed the button to the down level.
They all breathed a sigh of relief, but then loud banging was heard.
And then, the elevator went down really fast as the group screamed in horror.
Then the elevator landed down as they collapsed on the floor.
They groaned in pain as the doors opened as they rolled into the hallway before stopping and landed on the ground.
Logan got up as he soon spotted the truck outside.
Suddenly some growling was heard from the staircase, signaling him that the monsters are coming.
He spotted a broom and a fire hose nearby. He grabbed them and locked the door with them just as one of the monsters tried to bust the beasts tried to knock it down, but it didn't have any effect.
"Come on!" Logan ordered his family and friends as they got up and ran to the exit doors from the building.
They had exited the building and ran to the truck as they climbed in.
"Quick drive, hurry, hurry!" Logan ordered his brother.
"I'm hurrying! I'm hurrying!" Riley replied as he started the truck and he drove all of them out of the area just as Angus's agents exited the door to see them driving away.
Angus looks through a window to watch the whole scene he just saw as he glared at their direction.
