Rated T for swearing and violence.
Aight.
So I had a rush of creativity while watching My Hero and decided to make this. Main character's called Kirieina Akuma and I'm not so sure of the overall story here? But I'm trying.
Sidenote: regarding my TFP stories, still working on the next chapter, but should be up by the end of the month.
Enjoy!
Chapter One: Pilot
"Morning, everyone!"
The class turned towards the door to see none other than the short dark hair of the girl standing there. She was in normal school uniform, wearing a bright smile as she entered the room. Her skin was a reddish-brown.
Despite her bright entrance, everyone glared. She didn't care too much. She took a seat at the front of the class, right next to a boy wearing a mask over the lower part of his face. There were no sleeves on his blazer since he had six arms instead of the average two.
She smiled, "Hi, Shoji. How're you today?"
He didn't look at her, instead turning one arm into a mouth, "Do I know you?"
"No, I just memorised everyone's name and Quirk," She stated, "Didn't want any awkward encounters on the first day, y'know?"
A snicker came from behind her, "Yeah, right. Phobos only sent you here to kill future heroes."
She turned back to him, furrowing her eyebrows, "I don't know what you mean."
"Bullshit, Akuma," He spat, leaning forward. By now, he'd caught the attention of the class, "No one's buying your little 'my dad isn't a villain' act. There're a thousand other extras I'd rather have on this course than you."
Akuma turned back to the front and shut her pure-white eyes, inhaling deeply. She faced him once more, offering a hand.
"Let's try again," She decided, "Hello, my name is Kireina Akuma. I'm sixteen years old, a sentient human being capable of making my own choices, and my actions are not defined by my father's past. How are you today?"
Bakugo only stared at her. Before he could respond, she turned back and took out her earphones. The class erupted into a series of whispers. Shoji almost looked impressed.
The first day of school had been nothing short of tough. No one had wanted to talk to her. And to top it all off, instead of orientation, they'd had a Quirk assessment test.
She walked into the small apartment in her purple hoodie to cover her uniform, trying to sneak past the living room without him noticing. He was watching TV, but still saw out of the corner of his eye.
"Hey!" He yelled.
She sighed and retraced her steps, reluctantly going in to the living room, "What?"
Phobos stood up, the black horns on his head shining in the light. Like her, he had similar red skin. His muscles made him look all the more intimidating as he loomed over her.
"Where were you today?" He demanded, "The crew needed help with a robbery out of town."
She shrugged, "Went into the city. Pushed around a few of the dorks headed to UA."
He chuckled, "Can't believe your mom wanted you to apply. It's almost like she doesn't know us at all."
"Right. Well, I'm going to my room," Kireina murmured, turning towards the door.
"You weren't out with that purple-haired kid, were you?" He said suddenly.
She glanced over her shoulder and shook her head.
"Good," He grumbled, "That brat wants to be a hero too. There oughta be a school for 'villain' kids like you. Where are you supposed to go to learn our ways?"
"Too bad," She said, trying to sound sincere.
She shut the door behind her as she entered her room. Black paint was on each wall, along with a bunch of heavy metal posters. Kireina put on 'Through the Fire and the Flames' as she hid her uniform, dug through the box of books and placed the box back on top of her wardrobe where he couldn't find it.
He wouldn't approve of the novels she read. Not because of the rare scenes of gore or violence, but because there wasn't ENOUGH gore or violence.
She sat there reading the Wizard of Oz for a few hours before a light knock at her window caused her to shoot up. Quietly lifting the blinds, she smirked at seeing who was there.
"Hey, Shinso," She opened the window and he tumbled in, "Long time no see."
The purple-haired boy kept his voice low, "Hey. How was you're first day?"
"Oh, you know. Everyone's practically queuing around the block to be friends with the daughter of a literal demon."
"That bad, huh?" He followed as she sat on the bed.
"I don't know what I expected," She sighed, "Let's not get into it. How about you? How's your course looking?"
He smirked, "I dunno. How is 'politics, ethics, literature, culture, science and technology' looking to you? 'Cause it seems absolutely riveting to me."
Akuma glanced at him, lifting an eyebrow, "Absolutely riveting?"
"Yeah, I've been watching a few too many Victorian time-period shows," He laughed quietly, falling back onto the bed.
She fell with him. The lay silence for a little before she turned to him.
"Why aren't you scared?" She asked.
"Anything specific I should be scared about?" He countered.
She turned to lie on her stomach, head resting on her arms, "I'm the daughter of a feared ex-villain. He could walk in on this any time. And, sorry, but you aren't exactly cut out for fighting my dad."
"That's why we keep the window open. It's only a couple stories down," He smirked, "But honestly? You're far too much of a good person for me to pass on being friends with. Even if you don't want to admit it. I can't wait 'til those assholes in 1A realise that."
Akuma had to smile, "You're such a softie."
He stood up and held out his hand, "Let's see how much of a 'softie' I am when kicking your ass on DDR."
She smirked, quickly throwing on a hoodie and some trainers. Checking the bedroom door was locked, she followed him out of the window via the tree that stood outside the apartment. If there was one thing Kireina was grateful for, it was having Hitoshi by her side.
End of Chapter one.
I know it's shorter than some of my other stories' chapters, but I didn't want these to drag out too long.
