Himiko Toga giggled to herself as she skipped through the warehouse, her cheeks flushed and her sweater swishing as she swung her arms. As words about him tickled her ears through her earphones, her flush darkened and her eyelids drooped down as she was lost in her thoughts.

He was the one who understood her. Like reaaaaallyy understood her. Her pink tongue poked out slightly as she wet her lips. Fate had intertwined their paths, that day. It was like he had been waiting for her when she arrived to take the UA test. For her!

She knew the second he grabbed her and pulled her into the shadows that he was worth her affection, that he was just her type. When they both pulled out their blades… Mmmmmmmm

"The seriously wounded Hero Killer is currently receiving treatment at a hospital under heavy police guard."

Himiko shivered as a warm tingly feeling spread through her at the news reporter's words in her ear. Seriously wounded… Himiko had to see him! Just imagining him all cut up and bleeding for her made her flush as her fingers twitched against her knife.

She just loved tattered guys reeking of blood! She just wanted to play a little, just a little. Just one cut… She just wanted him to bleed for a little, just a little, just a little more, as she-

The disposable phone in her small hand started ringing, bringing her out of her daydream of Stainy stained with blood. Letting out a huff of frustration, she flipped open the phone. The cute charm Twice had given her swung as she brought the cell to her ear.

"Whaaaaaat?" She whined, already wanting to tune back into the radio broadcast. Blowing her bangs up as the sigh escaped her lips, she sat on the floor, crossing her legs.

An energetic voice sounded from the other line. "The informant contacted us- no he didn't!"

Toga giggled, turning over so that she was on her stomach, propped up by her elbows as her feet swung in the air. "Did you get cut? Is there any blood? You look so cute when you're bloody~" Suddenly, the phone was ripped from her grasp by long fingers. "Heeey! Give it baaaack!"

Dabi glared down, towering above her. "Stop flirting, you psycho yandere school girl. This is more important than your little crush."

Pouting, Toga rolled onto her back, pulling out a butterfly knife to spin as she whined. "I'm 24… You interrupted my talk with Twicey... I'll just cut you instead~"

She pushed herself up and swung the small blade at him, giggling as his fingers lit up in a blue flame an inch away from her butterfly knife.

Standing at over a foot taller than her, he glowered down at her. "Don't make me burn your new toy, psycho girl." He scolded, putting out the flame and bringing the phone to his ear. "Talk, Twice. What did her little student say?"

Pocketing her knife, she returned to skipping, putting in her headphones as Dabi talked to Twicey on the phone. Another shiver ran through her as Stainey's name was said again over the air, kissing her ears.

Stainy, here she comes~

Kagero Okuta breathed out as he sighed, feeling the smoke leave his lungs and color the air in front of his circular glasses. His gray hair hung above his eyes as he adjusted the thick, golden chains around his neck.

"Um, sir? You're not supposed to smoke in the hospital."

"Ah, well, is that so?" Something caught Kagero's eye, and he gave the nurse a half smirk that was one tooth short. "My bad, I was just leaving anyway."

He followed the young woman that he had been waiting for out of the doors, flicking the finished cigarette to the ground as they entered a back alley. While she changed her clothes, he pulled out his gun and another cigarette.

"Thought you were trying to keep your face out of the media, kid. My client wants fresh faces, you know that." Kagero pointed the gun up to his cigarette and pulled the trigger, breathing in deeply as the flame caught.

"I couldn't resist! I want to be like him, I want to be him!" The woman giggled.

Exhaling the smoke, Kagero glanced up. The woman was rolling on the balls of her feet, her hands clutched together and held to her chest. She grinned crazily, and he rolled his eyes. He really didn't get paid enough for shit like this, but what else is new.

"You're back to your normal self, lookin good kid. If it's Stain ya wanna be like, I got a lead for ya."

He tugged out his phone, leaning against the wall carelessly as he angled it her way.

"This clip keeps getting put up and taken down, because both sides get it. Especially this last part...this guy's whole style's gonna spread like a plague. From the punks with a few priors to the really bad guys on the run...anyone who's anyone...myself included, of course. All that evil scattered around out there...we're all gripped by the same fever. We'll all be drawn to the organization he was working with...the League of Villains."

He looked at the woman greedily drinking in the video on his phone, her blush darkening as she clutched the bottom of her skirt in her fists.

Meh, the woman had a record without it being tied to her name. From what his partner says, they also have an informant. That was enough for him. "And if you play your cards right, kiddo, I can get you and your buddies in…"

Kenji Tsuragamae walked into the room, and sighed heavily when he saw one of the occupants. "Should I expect Mr. Shinso as well?"

The Redhead glanced up from her conversation with the blond student and scratched the back of her neck, smiling sheepishly. "Er, no, he's safely out of town and training, sir."

Kenji grunted, nodding. Her response drew the other two male students out of their conversation as well, and they looked at him with curious gazes. As Gran Torino and Hawks walked in though, the green haired student looked down in shame.

"I am Hosu's Chief of police, Kenji Tsuragamae. It is a pleasure to meet the rest of you, though I do wish it had been under happier circumstances, woof."

The blond's eyes shifted to Star- Olivia? Star? They shifted to Skyline's daughter as she laid under the bed's sheet.

"You are the students that took down the Hero Killer, and protected Native and your friend." Kenji took their silence as confirmation, and continued.

"Stain has some pretty serious injuries. Severe burns and several broken bones. Right now he's in the hospital, under strict guard, woof."

He glanced at Skyline as he said the last part, knowing she already knew this. It threw him off slightly when he met her eyes, and her expression was no different from the other student's.

He shook his head, looking away as he continued. "Whether you were up against the Hero Killer or not, none of you had the authority to harm the villain."

Skyline's eyes went wide as she broke eye contact and turned to face Endeavor's son.

"That means the three of you, and Endeavor, Gran Torino, and Hawks, should be severely punished, woof."

"Kinky…" Hawks muttered quietly, so that only Kenji and Gran Torino could hear. Gran Torino leapt up to kick him upside the head, but Hawks dodged, grinning.

"Er… What the Chief is trying to get across is that despite that being the law, there are other options…" A nervous chuckle. "R-right Chief?

He turned around to see Skyline's daughter glancing nervously at the fuming son of the Fire Hero as she spoke, and Kenji nodded. "Correct, woof."

The angry student leaned back, taking on a more confused expression. "The burns match up with Endeavor's quirk, and Hawks was seen leaving the alley with the Hero Killer in tow. If we ran the story that they were the ones to bring the Hero Killer down, there would be no need for such punishment."

"Actually Chief, I'd rather be left outta that too, if ya don't mind." Hawks spoke up casually, now leaning against the wall behind him.

The students all nodded, conveying their agreement with the cover story.

Kenji nodded to them all, and continued. "The world's an unfair place. You'll receive none of the commendations that you might have otherwise. But at least as someone invested in protecting the peace… Let me thank you!"

He bowed to the students, respect swelling in his chest. They had been very brave to face that danger for their friend and the Pro Hero. Skyline's daughter was lucky to have them.

When he rose, he saw Skyline's daughter softly smiling to herself, having heard his train of thought. As the Pro Heroes went to talk to their respective interns, Kenji walked over to her.

He remembered the first time he had met the young woman. How she had laid in a hospital bed in this very building, only months ago. She had changed her hair since. Had gained back the color in her skin. The marks turned to scars. She looked happier though, and as he thought of the incredible students in the room, he understood why.

"Miss Skyline." He greeted, "I presume I can call you that now?"

She nodded, "Yes sir, I suppose it's no secret now."

"I would like to ask how your talk with the Hero Killer Stain went, when you visited him last night."

It had surprised him when he heard the news, but had understood the desire.

"The guard informed me of your visit, and I was hoping perhaps you were able to hear something helpful in the villain's mind." Kenji prompted, taking out his notebook and pen.

Skyline's smile faltered, and as she shifted in her bed anxiously, the sheet fell. Immediately, Kenji noticed the bandages covering her body that prevented her from moving, and the noise around him began to fade. All he could hear were the next words that left her mouth.

"Um, Sir? I just woke up."

Kenji froze, his mind whirling as the feeling of dread seeped into his skin. She would not have been able to have gotten up, let alone visit the villain. The world went still, and his fears were confirmed.

"I never visited him."
