Greetings to everyone who sees this story. This is my first time posting on this site, so if I've done something that's easily rectifiable then please let me know. I also don't know if the genres I currently have on here are the proper ones for it, so if it better fits in another category then again, please let me know. Anyways enough rambling out of me, enjoy.

After seeing Percy and Braddock walk out on her after retrieving the warhammer, Sasha starts to wonder if what she's doing is going to be worth it. However, the voice of a newcomer managed to snap her out of her thoughts.

"Of course, it's going to be worth it."

"Huh?" Sasha asked as she started looking around trying to find the source of the voice. She soon noticed herself, dressed up in her old school clothes up on the stage, and judging by how the toads aren't reacting to the other Sasha in the slightest, she concludes that this is just a hallucination.

"What do you mean it's worth it?" Sasha asked.

The being, who shall henceforth be known as Inner-Sasha, jumped off the stage and walked up to her.

"What I mean is they weren't going to be of much use to you anyways. I mean come on, one of them had a jester hat on. And you know what's synonymous with a jester? A fool, a clown, a joker! I mean what was he going to do, laugh his enemies to death?! Wars are not won through theatrics, they're won through guts, determination, violence." Her eyes went dark as she said that.

"And with them gone, now is the time for you to go all out." Inner-Sasha then looked around at the toads in the room.

Sasha slowly nodded her head yes after hearing the explanation.

"Right, you're right. They've served their purpose. Besides, they would've accidentally gotten themselves killed if they stayed with us."

"That's the spirit." Inner-Sasha said as she lightly jabbed Sasha in the shoulder, her fist phasing through since she was basically, for lack of a better term, a ghost.

"Once we take Andrias down and find a way home, things will go back to the way they were in a flash." Inner-Sasha said with a snap of her fingers for emphasis.

"Now repeat after me; it has to be this way."

"It has to be this way." Sasha parroted.

"And if I have to break a few bones in Anne and/or Marcy's bodies in order for them to comply, then so be it."

"And if I have to break a few bones in Anne and/or Marcy's bodies in order for them to comply, then so be it." Sasha parroted once more, however her eyes quickly widened once she realized what words came out of her mouth.

"Wait what?"

But before she could get an answer, Grime managed to snap her out of her thoughts with a question. "Sasha who are you talking to?"

Sasha turned around and saw Grime with a confused look on her face.

"Uhh," Sasha said as she straightened herself out.

"No one, sir. Just, got some things on my mind is all."

"Hmm. Well come on, we need to go over some plans on how to invade Newtopia with the Toad Lords."

And with that, the two made their leave with the Toad Lords to discuss the invasion. Unbeknownst to them however, the other Sasha was staring at the door Percy and Braddock left through.

"Tch, those two were weak anyways. I only told them that I'd back out if things got too hectic just so they could comply. Percy's performances were terrible anyways." She pulled out the BFF picture and held it with both hands.

"Soon you two will be back right where I want you," Inner-Sasha said as she wickedly smirked and firmly planted her thumbs on Anne and Marcy's faces, "right under my thumb." With that, Inner-Sasha pocketed the picture as she faded away.

Inner-Sasha soon faded back into a black void, walking up to and sitting in a chair and kicking her feet up as she let out a relaxed sigh. Before immediately getting interrupted and annoyed by the sound of light sobbing.

"You have got to be kidding me." She got up and walked over to a cell, the source of the crying.

"Stop." She slammed her fist onto the bars.

"CRYING!"

The occupant within got startled by the sudden noise, and slowly and cautiously walked up to the bars and out of the shadows, revealing themselves to be a younger version of Sasha, chained up from the neck down.

"P... Please. You can't do this. It's not healthy; not for her, or her friends."

Inner-Sasha pinched the bridge of her nose as she groaned in annoyance. "Oh, my Lord! How many times do I have to say this?!"

Inner-Sasha then proceeded to slam her fist into the bars as she yelled.

"I! AM! IN CHARGE!" Inner-Sasha grabbed the bars she just pounded.

"Consider yourself lucky that you're even still alive, otherwise I'd have choked your lights out the first moment I arrived here!"

"She's going to get hurt! The longer you spend influencing her, the more likely something really bad is going to happen!"

But those words fell on deaf ears as Inner-Sasha slammed her fist into the bars again, causing Young-Sasha to fall backwards in fear.

"Now you listen and listen well, twerp! Because this is the last time I'm ever gonna tell you this. What I'm doing is not just for her own good, but for Anne and Marcy as well. Before we came to this place, things were perfect, I was happy; THEY were happy, and as long as all three of us were happy, that's all that mattered in the end, no matter what happened to us. But then they got brainwashed by those stupid frogs and that so called 'king,' Andrias, and now I'm going to fix it no matter what. So, I had better not hear even a peep come out of your mouth unless I want you to! End! Of! Discussion! GOT IT?"

Without saying anything, out of fear of incurring even more of her wrath, Young-Sasha nodded her head yes, struggling to hold back the tears. Satisfied, Inner-Sasha sat back in her chair, before pulling out a remote and turning on a giant screen, showing Sasha's POV as she's cleaning her sword.

"Time to get ready Sash," Inner-Sasha said as Sasha's reflection appeared on the sword once the cloth was removed. "There's a storm approaching."

Back in reality, Sasha sighed as she looked at the sword one last time, before sheathing it within her scabbard as she began walking towards the war room. "It has to be this way."

And there you have it folks, the beginning of Sasha's own toad to redemption. See what I did there? Anyways, let me know what you guys think and expect to see Chapter 2 sometime in the future. Reviews and favorites are always highly appreciated.
