Third and fourth period were a bit of a bored for Robyn and Mebh. Third period was a subject called Algebra. It was confusing for the girls and honestly with the way the teacher was teaching the subject, it hurt the girls' head. The second period was a bit easier with it being Literature. Although the topic was a bit confusing, the girls were able to get an understanding of it. It did help a lot with Beth being with them to help. It was now lunch time, with Beth leading them to the lunchroom. They met up with Grace and the rest of the friend group and Grace took Robyn and Mebh to the lunch line to get some food.
As they were waiting, Grace asked the girls, "So how was your first day of school?"
"Boring and interesting," Mebh answered, "Who knew human school is this boring."
"Trust me, wait until exam week. That is literal death on wheels," Grace said chuckling to herself. She then notice Robyn all quiet and asked, "Your all right Robyn, you seem quiet?"
"I just miss my father and my home. All of this is still new to me and I do not feel comfortable with the way people treat each nowadays," Robyn said.
"Robyn, I understand how you feel. I understand how both of you guys feel with how everything is going on. But the issue is this, we are talking about something that is highly implausible. You guys are the first cases of time travel that my family has known about. So we are just playing by this by blind luck," Grace explained. As she was explaining this, Lucy joined them on the line.
"Oh hell yeah, Taco Tuesday," She said, leaning against the wall.
"Hey Lucy, can I ask you a question?" Grace asked.
"Sure," Lucy replied.
"You into the occult and stuff, right?" Grace asked.
"Yeah. My cousin is into Wiccan and magic," Lucy replied.
"Did your cousin ever talk to you about time as a concept?" Grace asked.
Lucy thought for a moment and then said, "She did mention about it. She only mentions about this artifact, something like a clock. I think she said it was the Clock of Chronos. Although she talked a little about it. Said something about how it took her and her friends back in time."
Robyn and Mebh perked up when they heard about this. "Is there any chance we can use this device?" Robyn asked.
"Sadly, I don't know. Although she did mention about one of her friends keeping the device," Lucy answered.
"What is the friend's name?" Mebh asked.
"Her name is Artemis Jones," Lucy answered.
"Artemis Jones, where did I hear that last name from?" Grace asked.
"My cousin told me she is related to this archaeologist that she and her friends met once. Goes by the name of Indiana," Lucy answered.
"Holy shit, your cousin knew Indiana Jones," Grace said surprised.
"Well, she did said it was a very very long story," Lucy explained.
"Is it possible if we can meet Artemis?" Robyn asked.
"Sure, my cousin is coming actually visiting us with her friends. It is their summer vacation at their school, so they wanted to stay here for their vacation for a bit. But I would warn you, both my cousin and Artemis are a bit reckless. Okay probably Artemis is totally reckless by the way my cousin describes her," Lucy explained, "But let me see what I can do."
"Thank you," Robyn said.
As they were getting their food, Grace heard a familiar voice behind her. "Well ain't it the witch and the wolf," Todd said, smiling ugly.
"What the hell do you want?" Grace said.
"I was overhearing you guys about Artemis Jones. You know the Joneses are very reckless. They say they are archaeologists, but they destroy everything touched," Todd mocked.
"Yet, Indiana was able to find the holy grail and save an entire civilization," Lucy counter.
"Allegedly," Todd answered.
"Oh, why don't you go fuck yourself," Grace said.
"Why don't you help me," Todd replied smiling in a disgusted way.
"Oh, why you…" Grace said as she was about to punch Todd in the face. She was stopped by Donny, who held her hand.
"Grace, no he is not worth it," he said. He let go of her hand and Grace thought for a second and then spat on Todd's face as she turned away.
"Someday I am going to get him," she said to Donny.
"I know but not today," Donny replied.
Grace, Lucy, Robyn and Mebh grabbed their food while Donny waited for them. Robyn and Mebh were curious about the food since they never tried it. As they went to the table where Grace's other friends sat, Robyn and Mebh sniffed their food to try their food. They then nibbled it and as soon as they found out they like it they devoured it.
"So, Lucy said we might be able to talk to her cousin and their friends to see if they can help us," Grace explained as she took a bite out of her taco.
"That sounds great. I remember Lucy mentioning about her cousin knowing about a way to travel through time," Libby said.
"It is," Grace said.
"So where are we going to meet them?" Luke asked.
"We are going to meet them at McDonalds," Lucy said, "I am going to text my cousin to let her know about our problem. See if we can meet them after school."
Even though Robyn and Mebh were ecstatic to hear the news that they might be able to go home, Robyn had a feeling that it won't be that easy.
So, a lot has happen since this chapter. I graduated High School and now in college. I am working. And I have created some other fanfics. Now I will continue this, but I feel like the path might differ from what I orignally thought. So, first thing is first. The mention of Artemis Jones and Indiana Jones comes from a fanfic I am currently from. This one actually goes a bit in depth with the Clock of Chronos. To those who have watched Little Witch Academia will know these characters in the future chapters. Also there are refrences to two of my other fanfictions and I might connect this to those. This is a standalone one though not a continuation. But they are in the same universe. Also wanna try something knew and create my own little universe. So I do recommend checking my other fanfics for a bit of a understanding.
The reason I am going to do this is mainly because I feel like if I continue with the classes I will run out of ideas, and with it connected to an artifact of time travel I think this will work best. But I can always redo it so let me know how you will like it. So I am happy with how everyone likes the story and would like to see it continue. With that being said, my goal is doing this and the other one that was mention in this chapter. So I do hope you are able to read it.
