I'm on my way to my Uncle's office. Kazumi Yukihira is the High School Principal of Gakuen Alice. Gakuen Alice, a prestigious school for gifted children in Tokyo. It's already dark outside but I'm used to it. Before I came here, I'm afraid of the dark, but I needed to overcome it. I felt the cold breeze of the evening, I look up to the sky to see the moon. It shines brightly tonight, maybe Uncle has some good news.
"You're here. Have a seat, Mi-chan." I saw Uncle and Hi-sama inside the room. I'm surprised to see Hi-sama here. Hi-sama or Himemiya is the Middle School Principal of Gakuen Alice. I bowed to them before I take a sit. Hi-sama smiled at me, a meaningful one.
"How's your training, Mi-chan?" Uncle asked. Training. I pout. Every morning until it's dark, I'm training.
"It's fine, Uncle. I have already taken control of er my alices." I answered. They nod and look at each other. Hi-sama smiled at me.
"Very good, Little Princess. Then, you can meet your friend." Hi-sama said. Like, what? No way. Hotaru.
"You're allowing me to go out? And meet her?" I ask. They just laugh at my reaction. Uncle came near me then hug me.
"You're going to study with her," Uncle said. And I jump in joy. I hug them. I'm so happy that I started to tear up. Uncle hug me then pat my head.
"Now, now calm down. Why don't you go back to your room and fix your things? We'll meet you there tomorrow." I nod then hug him for the last time tonight. I bowed to Hi-sama, then run to my room.
While fixing my stuff, I saw my picture frames. It consists, of my pictures since I arrive here five months ago. I came from the countryside. I live with my grandfather; we are not blood-related my mother leave me to his care when I was a baby. I just learned about that five months ago when my uncle visits our home. He told us about my mother and father and alices. At first, I don't believe him but eventually I did. He told me about the Gakuen Alice, I get interested since that is where my best friend transferred.
My best friend, Hotaru Imai has the invention alice. I heard from my Uncle that she's fine and doing well. It's been six months since we parted, and she never replies to my letters. Uncle said that it is strict inside the academy and probably Hotaru wants to send me a letter but she can't. And I understand since, Uncle explained everything to me.
If you're wondering where I am right now, I'm inside the academy. Under Uncle's care. He did something so that no one would know that I'm here. Well, with the help of Hi-sama. Hi-sama, she has the strongest barrier alice. Uncle has two alices; one of them is the power to detect other people's Alice upon sight, either in person or via photographs, the other, "longevity", grants him long life and the ability to not appear to have grown old.
The next morning, I woke up early like usual. I did my daily morning routine. I just got out of the bathroom when I heard a knock. I wore my bathrobe, then opened the door. I saw someone whom I don't know.
"I'm Shizune Yamanochi, third year in high school. Hi-sama asks me to bring this to you." She said then gave me a school uniform. Before I could even say thank you, she was gone. I just close the door then made my way to my bed. I wore the uniform that was given to me, and when I'm done, I heard a knock.
"Let's go, Mi-chan." I heard. I get my luggage then opened the door. Uncle helped me with my stuff. He abruptly stopped walking which made me look at him. He put my luggage down then move lower until we are face-to-face with each other.
"Mi-chan, I need you to take care of yourself there. Remember your lessons. Remember what I told you." He said while caressing my hair. I hugged him tightly. "Yes, Uncle." I whispered to him. He smiled then we walk again.
We are now at the boundary of middle school from high school. No ones there. We stood there for five minutes, and when Uncle starts to get annoyed, I saw someone running towards us. He looked gay.
"I apologize, Principal Yukihara." He bowed then looked at me. "Oh my! Who is this cute-" Uncle didn't let him finish. He gave my luggage to him, then pat my head then leave.
"I'm Narumi Anju, you can call me Narumi-sensei." He introduces himself after Uncle leaves. I smile at him.
"I'm Mikan Azumi-Yukihara." I said.
