Okay. So it is the usual plot when it comes to Criminal Ruby. That is if you've ever read a Criminal Ruby fic. Which I suggest you do. Cuz there are one or two good fics out there that deal with this. The plot is that Summer died when Ruby was three, her "family" being Yang, Tai and Qrow, all start to ignore her. Then on her fifth birthday, she runs away. She steals and kills to survive those first few years but then sometime later she continues to do crime because even though it is no longer a necessity, she finds she enjoys the life of crime. She starts her own gang/mafia. She steals anything or anyone she wants, whenever she wants. She kills whoever she wants, whenever she wants. She controls her territory and her people with a fist and boot made of military grade steel. But then when she if fifteen, a random two cent thief robs a store. One that is in her territory. She defends it but winds up where we see her in the beginning of the show. She goes to Beacon but not without five of her most loyal subjects. No points for figuring out who those five are since it should be pretty apparent who they are.
