The Trickster
Chapter Six: Fixing Bucky and an interesting Proposal.
-Loki-
While Ellie was helping Bruce fix Bucky Loki was elsewhere in the room he shared with Ellie looking at the ring his mother left him upon her death. It was something he cherished and he hoped Ellie would say yes to the question of marriage.
"Loki I'm coming in to shower you dressed yet?"
"Yes Darling go shower and get dressed I'll be downstairs. I'll see you in a little while."
He hid the ring in his pocket of his suit and left the room so Ellie could shower and dress. He sat in the room with his brother.
"She's going to say No brother." Loki sighed worriedly.
"She loves you she's three months pregnant with your child she's gonna say yes Reindeer games."
"oh yes Stark is right she will." Thor reassured. "Have faith Brother. Dean and Sam gave you their blessing."
"That was the shocker that they agreed." Sam chuckled.
"Agreed to what?" Ellie asked walking downstairs in a dress and ankle boots.
"Nothing darling Sam just has his foot in his mouth."
"Uh huh.." Ellie nodded and took her bag with her jacket. "Ready?"
"Of course let's go to dinner."
-Thor-
When the two left Thor saw something on the couch. "He left the ring."
He ran out the door with the ring and flew to the restaurant that Loki was taking Ellie to.
When he arrive he caught sight of his brother and sister in law to be sitting at the back in a booth. "Sorry to bother you Brother but you left an important thing in the compound."
"Oh that's sweet Thor you brought it down here?" Ellie smiled looking at Loki who was checking his pockets.
"Yes very kind brother thank you." He slyly put the ring in Loki's pocket. "We'll see you in a few hours Thor."
-Ellie-
When Thor left Ellie looked at Loki closely. "You left your mother's ring at the compound?"
"H-How did you know it was her ring?"
"I've seen you twirling it when you think I'm not looking Loki." She took the ring from his pocket and slid it on her ring finger. "I think your mother would approve that we found each other." She slid closer and kissed Loki.
"I could never hide something like that from you could I?" She giggled and shook her head.
"I was raised by guys sweetheart."
-Thor-
When Thor arrived back at the compound Tony looked at Thor and smiled.
"She probably knew already She was raised by guys she's smarter than we give her credit for."
"Probably does know and told Loki as such while putting on our mothers ring on her own finger. It would make sense She's always paid attention to detail how else would she know how to help Steve's friend."
Tony agreed looking at the time. "They're probably eating dessert now."
"Course they are she said they would stay at the restaurant for dinner and dessert." Nat laughed.
-Loki-
They enjoyed their dinner and stayed for dessert. While they arrived home Bucky was resting.
It was an interesting day to say the least.
