Chapter 17: Behind His Face Lies a Monster

3rd Person POV

5 minutes have passed and Midoriya already has 49 points, but meanwhile inside a certain viewing room, the teachers are watching closely as to who deserves to be put in their class and who deserves to stay. Nedzu on the other hand, has never took his eyes off the tatted boy named Midoriya.

"That boy is truly something." Nedzu said. Aizawa looked at Nedzu and asked,

"Who do you mean?" Nedzu then pointed at the screen close to the middle, showing Midoriya ripping a leg off of a 2 pointer and impaling the robot to the ground from the head down with said leg before running off at an incredible speed that the camera barely has enough time to follow him.

"Izuku Midoriya. 5'6, has tattoos on his arms, upper chest and back. A genius in both analyzing quirks and fighting, complete and full understanding of the human body and its anatomy and essentially has complete medical knowledge on each organ and muscle and their respective function and can master any technique instantaneously, simply upon seeing it used by someone else. Quirk: Unkillable." Nedzu read aloud the file about Midoriya. The other teachers perked at the name of his quirk.

"Unkillable?" Midnight questioned. Nedzu just nods before reading the quirk's description.

"The user cannot be killed by any means aside from old age or getting turned into ashes or dust. The quirk activates on instinct, as if sentient, if the user is milliseconds from either dying instantly or getting hit fatally. The user can still move and/or fight despite receiving life ending injuries. Downside: The user cannot verbally communicate, therefore, relying on hand signals, sign language or morse code to communicate." The others were really shocked at what the quirk is capable of and what it can't do.

"So that has nothing to with his strength and speed?" Powerloader asked, a hint of slight worry in his voice.

"Nope, it also says here that's been trained for 7 years before coming to UA, not missing a single day." Nedzu points out.

"Who's been training him?" Asked King Vlad in curiosity. There, that question, made Nedzu grin maniacally.

"Well no other than The Red Devil himself of course!" Nedzu then started cackling while the others, including All Might who was in the room, went wide eyed in shock before they all began staring at Midoriya's screen where it was shown that he was grinning. Not from happiness nor excitement, but from bloodlust, from the thrill he was receiving while destroying robots. They also took note that his eyes weren't normal like before. His pupils is nowhere to be seen as well as his corneas. Why? Because his irises made it look like it was glowing and said glowing seem to 'swallow' the pupils and corneas. His scleras on the other hand, turned from white to black. Long story short, combine that wild, nearly demonic looking eyes and his feral yet predatory grin makes it very clear that he's not what they thought he was.

"W-Why did Red train him?" Hizashi asked with a slight tremble in his voice. Nedzu then told them that Young Izuku was kidnapped when he was 7 years old by a very dangerous individual for quirk experimentation, also telling them that Izuku Midoriya was born quirkless and thanks to the experimentation, gained his new quirk Unkillable. He then said that Red got wind of the boy before rescuing him and persuading him to stick with him and train him for the time being.

"He didn't take him home?" Aizawa asked. Nedzu shook his head and said,

"He didn't for the safety of Midoriya's mother. If he took him back to her after all that, HE might find out where Izuku lives and threaten the life of his mother, so he took him in instead and trained him for 7 years."

"Did Red told you this?" Ectoplasm asked. Nedzu nodded and said,

"He did. He also told me that he escorted Midoriya back to his mother 2 months ago."

"So he's the successor of Red." All Might said.

"Yes, but only if the time truly comes will Midoriya become his successor." Nedzu replied.

"What time?" Asked Cementoss. Nedzu then frowned and said,

"The time Shiro dies." Their eyes widened at the proclamation but before anyone could say anything,

"We'll discuss their history and story for another time. All Might, would you be so kind to unleash the beast?" Nedzu said with a grin. All Might chuckled and showed his signature smile before saying,

"Time to see who has the heroic spirit when facing this!" He then pressed the red button, unleashing the dreaded Zero Pointer amongst the applicants.

Midoriya's POV

"HIYA!" I sliced the One Pointer's head in half with a chop before dropping to the ground and the robot collapsing before my feet. I wiped a tiny bit of sweat on my forehead before chuckling.

"That's 65 points. Rescued 2 people so that's plus 40 I think. Total of 105 points, not bad." I said to myself before feeling the ground shake before seeing a shadow that blocked the sunlight. I grinned and looked up and saw the big bastard, the Zero Pointer. I cracked my neck and fingers as I prepared to charge it. I can hear everyone running back to the entrance point but before I could charge the Zero Pointer, I heard a small yelp amidst all the noise and looked down on the street. There was a girl with short brown hair and her legs are stuck under some debris and rubble. Without hesitation or even thinking, I ran towards her as the giant bot starts going towards us. I looked at her and smiled before saying,

"Don't worry, I got you." I took all the rubble and debris that was pinning her leg off of her before holding out a hand.

"Can you walk?" I asked a bit loudly as the Zero Pointer is getting closer and closer. She shook her head as she tried to get up. She whimpered and said,

"I think my ankles are sprained." I looked up and saw the Zero Pointer was looking straight at us before it roared and cocked its fist back. I immediately lifted up the girl bridal style before running away from the obvious danger.

"Hold on." I kept running and running but the damn bastard punched the ground so hard a piece of the road flew at me, hitting me on the back and making fly even farther. Luckily, I clutched onto the girl harder to prevent her from getting hurt as to where I spun myself and landed on my back even after getting hit so she wouldn't get hurt. I groaned lightly before looking up and the Zero Pointer was still staring at us and cocked its fist back once more. I put the girl down gently and walked in front of her. I went completely serious as I tore off my tank top and I felt my eyes shifting. I don't know why it does that but Red told me it's my body's way of letting people know that I'm getting serious about fighting as well as for intimidation. I raised both my arms in the air and bent my right knee. As the fist starts coming at us, I twisted my body around, in a 180° angle, with my right arm all the way to the back. I then took a step and delivered a devastating punch straight to Zero Pointer's fist, letting out a powerful shockwave that shook both the ground and the buildings for miles away. My feet went through the concrete and my fist didn't shatter nor did it go through the metal, but rather the force and the pressure travelled through the arm of the robot before stopping at the elbow, making it explode and dropping the arm that was gonna hit us. After it fell, I rushed towards the Zero Pointer, climbed all the way to its head via jumping, grabbing and hoisting myself upward till I reached the head. I used my left hand to grab on to the top of the head before I grinned once more as I looked through one its eyes and said,

"Hey Nedzu." Before cocking my right fist all the way to the back and hit it dead center on its metal face, nearly decapitating it with how far the head threw back and leaving a massive dent, making it look like All Might punched it with full force. The giant toppled down backwards as I jumped back and landed on my feet without breaking or spraining a bone. The Zero Pointer fell and it shook the ground once more. I took a deep breath and sighed.

"That was fun." I said with a smirk.
