Chapter 27: Disaster in the USJ Part 2 + Lecture time with mom(Midoriya)
Midoriya's POV
I tapped on the gauntlet to play some music before Kacchan called me.
"Deku!" I turned to him just as I was to hit play. He ran up to me and stopped beside me before I refocused my attention on the doorway where the villains are about to come out.
"You pick off any that went past me alright?" I asked of him.
"Gotcha, and remember, NO KILLING." He says to me in a scolding manner.
"Relax, I'll just cripple them." I said nonchalantly.
"No turning anyone into a vegetable." Kacchan says. I roll my eyes behind my mask.
"Way to take the fun out of this. Fine, no one's getting into a coma or completely brain dead. Just amputated and/or paralyzed from either neck or waist down." I say back to him.
"Good enough." Kacchan approves. I hit the play and the song My Brother by The Dragonslayer plays out of the gauntlets. Kacchan glances at my gauntlet then at me and I glanced at him before we stared at the incoming villains.
"Didn't know that has a speaker." He says.
"So did I." As the song reached 15 seconds, the villains start coming out of the entrance like fucking ants and I charge at them while the song is playing. The villains was surprised I charged at them and because of that, I managed to slice an arm of a villain and a hand of another in quick succession before hitting them in the skulls and knocking them out. I continued my bloody onslaught on the villains as I dodge, cut and slice them. I duck from a swing from behind before slicing the guy's legs clean off then delivering an elbow to the jaw, knocking him out then deflecting an attack from behind with a heel kick and slicing upwards, catching the villain's left cheek and ice before head butting her. I move between my opponents with speed and grace that I was basically just making limbs fly all over. Of course, I don't get everyone considering I'm in the middle of them all and not everyone was attacking me. Each kick, punch, cut and slice I deal to these guys, I can hear some loud explosions just outside the USJ. Right now, the plaza is dead silent and I can hear screams of pain in the Fire Zone while I deal with these bastards. Every villain around me drop like legless or armless flies and I have yet to get hit.
"How's it going in there?!" Kacchan asks.
"Fucking peachy!" I answer back as I deliver a kick to the villains jaw and hearing an audible crack as I did. I elbow the guy beside me before grabbing his head and bringing it to the other side to collide with the other villain's head. They did and I just pushed them to the front then judo flipping the guy that was about to punch the back of my head to the ground before snapping his arm then elbow then wrist then stomping on his skull, cracking it and knocking him out at the same time. I heard a building crumbling but I didn't take my focus away from the enemies knowing it's Red considering there was gunfire involved before he took the entire building down.
'Damn, always love hearing sensei not even go all out. Although…' I dodged a fist before headbutting the person that tried to hit me.
'I've never seen him go all out before, and if he did…' I climbed on top of a villain and was about to knock him out with the butt of my machete before we heard a building crumbling and people screaming and only then did we all look at the commotion. One of the buildings in the downpour zone was rising only to sway to the side then swinging downwards towards another building which started to crumble and fall.
'I think a country will sink.' I drove the butt of my machete on the back of his head and knocked him out before focusing on the rest. There was only a few left so not much now. After I mowed down the last 4 people, All Might arrived.
"I AM…here…" I walked past the unconscious and amputated villains while wiping the blood on my machete on my liquid proof pants before sheathing it.
"Hey All Might". I say to him as I pass by his shocked state. I walked over to Kacchan while taking my mask off.
"How many you got?" I asked playfully. He scoffs but gives me a smirk.
"Just 6 at best, with a bit of help with the class." He says as he points at our classmates. I smiled at them and bowed.
"Thanks for the help you guys." I rose up as All Might's hand land on my shoulder.
"Young Midoriya, we will discuss your actions later." I rose an eyebrow at him only for Red's voice to sound off in the USJ as I hear him getting closer to us.
"Relax All Might, we got it handled. Well, mainly Red but nonetheless we got it handled, you might wanna go in there and make sure not everyone is dead." I said while pointing at the entrance just as Red showed up from the steps and lazily saluted us.
"Yo." All Might immediately tensed up and clenched his fists as he glared at him.
"Easy doggy, no need to be aggressive. There's a lot of them alive still." Says Red as he walks past him and towards the class.
"You idiots good?" Shiro asks us. I nodded for them and Red just nods in my direction before looking to the side of where we came from.
"Nedzu and the others are coming." He says before walking away.
"Red Devil!" Momo calls out to him. He stops and looks back a bit.
"Thanks for being here!" Momo says before bowing, the others following suit aside from me, Todoroki and Bakugo.
"It's what I do." Replied Shiro before jumping up to the nearby buildings and instantly disappearing. We all waited for the rest of the teachers to get to us before we get checked up on by them. After all that jazz, we all changed to our uniforms and went home. I got to my car with Bakugo before Uraraka and Iida called out to was just as I unlocked it.
"Bakugo! Deku!" She calls out to us. We looked at her in surprise, not expecting here to come to us.
"Yes that would be us." Kacchan said jokingly. I snorted and lightly elbowed him on the arm.
"What is it you two?" I asked them. She opens her mouth to say something before she looked at my car.
"You drive?" She asks. I nod and showed them my fake license.
"Yup, now shush." I say to them while grinning. Iida was about to lecture me before I put my license away and me and Kacchan just enter the car. I start the car and looked at the two.
"Anything else?" When Iida opened his mouth again, I just started to close the door before Uraraka's hand stopped it. I looked at her hand then at her.
"Sorry about Iida-kun, we just wanted to say something." She says. I sigh and I open the door more but didn't get out.
"What is it?" I asked. She fidgeted before bowing and saying,
"Thank you for protecting us!" Iida bowed as well and saying the same thing. I just stared at them before shrugging and closing the door, but not after I said,
"We're training to be heroes aren't we? It's part of the package." I glanced outside the window and saw their shocked faces as my words reached them before I put the car in reverse and Kacchan and I drove back home. As we drove home, Kacchan asks,
"Did ya have to cut off Four Eyes back there TWICE?" I just shrugged and told him I already knew what he was gonna say. I stopped in front of his house before unlocking the doors and giving him a fist bump.
"Thanks for helping out back there." I say to him with a smile. He smiled back and nods.
"We're heroes, it's part of the package." He says with a smirk. I lightly punched him on the arm and we both laughed.
"Using my own words against me, how brave of you." I retort with a smile. He rolled his eyes before he got out of the car, closed the door and went inside his house. I drove back to my own house and parked the car on the driveway. I turned the car off and got out of it before locking it. I went inside my house where mom was there on the couch watching TV with tea on her hands.
"I'm home!" I announced. Mom looked at me before setting her tea down on the coffee table and said,
"Welcome home honey. I guess old habits die hard huh?" She asks with a smile. I looked at her confused before she showed me a couple of text messages between her and…ALL MIGHT?! I gaped at the sight, not because of what she said but perhaps more of what she showed.
"I guess it's time we talked about a bit of self-control." I closed my mouth and looked at her confused once more since I didn't kill anybody.
"But mom, nobody died." I say to her only for her to add,
"Yet. I knew the extent of their injuries because they were sent to the same hospital I was working in and immediately recognized the clean slices." She tells me. I was about to retort before shutting my mouth and just shrugging, accepting her argument. She smiles once more before scooting to the other side of the couch and pats on the space beside her.
"Now let's talk business shall we?" She asks with a fake smile and I just wobbily smiled back with sweat starting to slide down my face.
'Ah I'm in for it now.'
