Galen(sighs): How'd I end up in this mess? First, I lose my father, and then Mr. Greenwood forces me to go to this tournament for no reason! Part of me wants to go and solve the mystery of the Power Rings, but I'm still not sure if I'm ready.
Norman: Yo, there's an invitation card right here. Hmm, the Castle calls with riches in store, so take the path you wouldn't before. Sounds like he wants you in this thing, and I think he's serious Galen.
Galen: Then let's go! Unless someone else has something to fight for, right?
Jarek: Yeah. My sister has some surgery on her arms being done, and they need me for the payment.
Galen: Really?
Jarek: I've got to stand up for the family, so we both need to go! Galen, you're the closest friend I've got.
Galen: Then Jarek, do not throw away your shot.
(That night)
Servant: Attention all duelists, please board the vessel that will carry you over to Castle Combat!
Random Duelist #1: Whoa, that's Terra Jones. She won yesterday's big tourney, you know?
Random Duelist #2: Yeah, but that Galen kid just beat Calen Veers, so he's going to be tough as well.
Skylar: Hmmm, you sure? Cause I think my Deck can top his, and then some!
Aqua: Yeah, I could beat him! No sweat.
Jarek: Wow, just look at all the duelists here. You really think I can make it just as big as they did?
Galen: Yeah. Besides, Skylar Johnson and Aqua Pines are State champions back where they come from. And hey, I got you a little something for your deck.
Jarek: Boss Rush? Now I don't need to worry about my B.E.S monsters anymore! Thanks pal.
Galen: Anytime.
Sectonia: Well if you ask me, that's one of the few things he needs. Other than his friends, of course.
Random Duelist #3: Can it Sectonia, cause it'll be my Deck that makes it to the finals!
Random Duelist #4: Ha, it'll be my Deck that wins it all!
Terra: Why don't we settle this with a little dueling?
Galen: I'm up for it.
Aqua: Same here.
Skylar: You know it!
Random Duelist #5: Why don't we wait for the tournament to begin, then we can settle things.
Sectonia: Okay then, that's fine.(thinking)But until then, I'm going to see just how easily fooled Galen can be!
(Later that night)
Galen: Oh, I was just wondering what kind of stars we have out here tonight Sectonia,
Sectonia: Galen, I don't wonder. I know. They're fireflies. Fireflies that, uh, got stuck up in that big bluish-black thing.
Random Duelist #5: Oh, gee. I always thought they were balls of gas burning billions of miles away.
Sectonia: Dude, with you, everything's gas.
Random Duelist #6: Man, ain't nothin' but a bunch of little dots.
Galen: You know, friend, it doesn't matter what you think. Sometimes things are more than they appear.
Sectonia: Same.(reaching for the Power Ring)And besides, stars do predict our destiny!
Galen: HEY!
Sectonia: You want it? Come and get it!
(Galen chases Sectonia to get his Power Ring back, eventually doing so, but while running into another Duelist)
Kilowatt Kira: Well Ringbearer, you certainly are making enemies already.
Galen: Heh, I guess you won't go easy on me either, right?
Kilowatt Kira: Of course.
(As Jarek, Kayla, and Norman join their friend, everyone sees an island fortress)
Duelists: Alright, you know what this means. I'm not holding back any longer! Let it begin!
