After I put the Doctor to bed I went out of his room and started to look around. I found all the past companions' rooms first, then the kitchen. I went on to find the library and the pool. In the library I found some Manga! I went ahead and read some Naruto on a rocking chair that I found. I took off my backpack and put it to the side. I didn't know how long I was there sitting in the chair reading until my stomach growled. I decided to get up and stretch. I walked towards the door and paused. "Um you wouldn't mind showing me where the kitchen is...Honey?" I asked the TARDIS. She hummed in approval of the nickname. I opened the door and there was a path of lights leading me somewhere. So I started to follow them. I then (finally) got to the kitchen after many dizzying turns. When I opened the door to the kitchen it was white walls, white ceiling, white refrigerator and stove, checkered white-black flooring, with a round light wooden table. I looked through the light wooden cabinets and the refrigerator. Everything was there for banana bread and 4 stuffed green peppers. Banana bread for dessert and green pepper for lunch/dinner. I started to cook up a storm. Then I heard the door open, I looked and saw the Doctor was up and still in his last Incarnations clothes. He was looking at me like I was an illusion. I smiled knowing this will be hard for him to adjust after the Time War when he thinks he blew up the planet. I picked up the lone banana that I didn't use and went up to him. "Banana?" I asked him as I was 2 feet away. He slowly grabbed the banana like it will go away forever. When he grabbed it he sighed.
"Sorry. I just thought-"
I interrupted him as I let go of the banana "that I was a hallucination and didn't think I was still here?" He nodded. "It's fine, you're probably in that state of denial or something." I said with a small smile. I turned around to go back to cooking which I was almost done with. I just need to put them in the oven. "I'm making a meal for us."
"Thanks but you didn't have to do that." He said as he sat down with his banana.
"I was getting hungry anyways." I said back and I opened the ready oven and put in the food. "There." I said then I put 2 separate timers for the said food and sat with him. "Do you remember what happened before you regenerated?" I asked him in hopes we won't start over again.
He nods "yes."
I sighed in relief "good because I have know idea what to do if you keep accusing me of being a time lord or something like that."
He chuckles a bit and said "I think I can see that." Then he thought of something "you know I never really caught your name."
I nodded "Right, my name is Fiona Selly. It's nice to meet you, Doctor." I raised my left hand. "If I can call you that?"
He chuckled and nodded "well since the war is done, yes, yes you can." And we shook hands. We talked for a while then he said "I never had an American on board before. But you also seemed to be different." He noticed my right leg bouncing a bit.
"Yeah, I should tell since I might be able to go back home that I'm autistic and have adhd." I answered "But it's ok. I know all about the time rules."
"That's good, don't sell yourself short with your disabilities but you can keep moving forward and grow with them." He said with his grin. I smiled back then the green peppers were done. I got up and went to the oven and took out our meals and put them on the cooling rack as the Doctor grabbed the plates.
