A/N: Sorry this was late. Was busy, looking for work and doing other creative projects.

Rosa took another sip of Chardonnay. The wine was dry and cool, with a slight fruity taste but not so sweet that it was like drinking syrup. Her chocolate brown eyes glanced at the fancy crystal glass. The bottom of it was encrusted with diamond shapes, the stem was transparent. When it caught the sunlight, it sparkled, like the royal blue waves outside. It was a good day to be out at sea, without a single cloud in the sky or even the slightest breeze. She then glanced out the window. They'd just left the Catherby pier, it was like a ferry ride back home, from one side of the lake to the other.

This should take what?...Half an hour? Rosa thought, and took another drink.

"How is everything?" Arhein asked. "Do you want some refreshments?"

"No, I'm good," she said. "How long till we get there?"

Arhein smiled, albeit too widely. "As long as you're good, I'm good."

"And as long as you're good, you'll get your tip," Rosa told him.

Arhein smiled again. "Yes, ma'am."

Rosa smirked like she was letting her inner Karen out. Yep, you'll do anything for money. Then again...don't most people?

She chuckled while she thought of Arhein, initially refusing to let her tag along on his delivery route to Keep Le Faye. Nothing she said could convince him, until she wrote down a check for twenty five thousand GP. His eyes then seemed to bug out, and his jaw dropped. He then began to stutter like he saw a ghost.

"Th-th-that much?" Arhein had finally blurted out.

"Yep," Rosa had answered. You bring me to their keep, and give me some first class service, I'll double it.

"Yes ma'am!" Arhein said.

When Rosa finished, she started to drink the Chardonnay directly from the bottle. It feels so, so great to be rich. Anything's possible when you have money.

The actual game never had the option, even though any player could've figured out such an obvious solution.

No more of that bullshit, Rosa thought. It's like not being able to take a shortcut 'cause they're a few rocks in your way, or not being able to climb over a fence 'cause there wasn't an option for it. Fuck that kind of shit, now that I'm here and I have the same choice to do anything, like I could in the real world, everything's gonna be so much easier.

She looked out the window. A few yards away was a seagull in the water, with her cute fluffy chicks trailing behind her. Her current situation and the sight of those cuties made Rosa sign in pleasure.

Life sure is looking this great from now on.

"Ma'am? We're here," Arhein said.

He led her out of the ship and onto land. They were now on the boardwalk, facing another keep, although this was far less fancier than Camelot castle. This one looked more like a single tower, with its gray stone walls, oak double doors and plain glassless windows. Rosa could see a few cannons facing east on the second floor.

She gave Arhein the check and he knocked on the door. A few seconds later, it opened, revealing a renegade knight, looking like a Varrock guard, only their armor was black rather than a shining silver.

"Here's your weekly delivery," Arhein told the knight.

Because he was wearing a medium rather than a full helm, Rosa and Arhein could clearly see him frown.

"Who's this?"

Rosa didn't answer. Instead, she pointed her Staff of Light at him, and casted entangle. A green light shot out, and when it hit the knight, a large translucent sphere formed on the ground growing bigger and bigger until it burst, like a bubble. Then a yellow rope , also translucent, appeared around the knight.

Knowing she only had twenty four seconds, she ran for the staircase in the middle of the castle's first floor, going as fast as her feet could carry her, like she was about to miss the last train home.

Upon reaching the second floor, she was face to face with five other knights. There was one at almost every corner. A few feet to her left was a knight next to one of the many armored suits and Saradomin shields lined against the wall. Across from him was a table set plus some chairs and another knight standing by it. Near the upper-right corner of the room was another set of a table and chairs and a third knight next to it. The fourth knight was across from him, and he was also by the last table and chairs set. The last knight was across from her at the other end, between two wooden beans that held up an indoor balcony.

"Oh fuck," Rosa said aloud.

"Intruder!" a renegade knight shouted.

"How'd you even get in?" another one yelled.

"Don't tell me you're from Camelot!" a third knight screamed.

"ENOUGH!" a booming voice cut in.

It came from above. Rosa looked up and took in the sight of the balcony. Standing in front of a table holding ten different bottles and vials was a knight dressed differently from the others. Instead of a medium helm, he had on what looked like a full helm, with a purple plume, but his helm had the part covering his eyes removed, and Rosa gazed into his eyes. They were dark, completely black like beetles. Evil and soulless. Looking into them made her heart beat faster, and a bead of sweat ran down her face.

"SEIZE HER!" he ordered. "WE'LL ASK QUESTIONS LATER!"

"Yes, Sir Mordred!" the renegades said.

The five knights of Mordred headed her way. The closest one was next to the suit of armor, so she casted Fire Surge and flames shot out of the staff and landed straight on the knight's face. He started screaming and immediately toppled over. He flailed his arms around, trying to put out the flames, but it simply spread further. His screams got louder.

Across the burning knight, was the second knight, who shoved the former out of the way. He began to advance towards Rosa.

"I killed that guy with fire, how about some ice for you!" she yelled. "Ice Barrage!"

Immediately, she wanted to smack herself. Why the hell did I yell out the spell I was gonna cast? And holy shit that line was awful! Never do that again.

A huge block of ice just a few inches taller appeared over the knight, freezing him where he stood. First it was barely visible, then it became easier and easier to see until it reached the point where even someone legally blind would realize the knight was frozen, like a mammoth in a glacier. A few feet away from the frozen knight was the third knight, walkin gaway from the upper-right corner. He wasn't as stupid as the previous two. Instead of charging at a mage, he threw his sword at her. The act of casting the spells gave Rosa some extra energy, she leaned her head back, opened her mouth, and blew a stream of fire, like she was Sasuke doing a fireball jutsu. The sword melted when it made contact with the fire, which quickly spread as if gallons of gasoline were poured on it. The third knight panicked, he froze in fear as the flames got closer and closer until he consumed him. His screams of pain made the knight across from him, the fourth knight, panic as well. He picked up a chair, like he was about to throw it, but then he began to cough when the smoke from the fire reached his eyes.

Smoke! That's it!

Rosa casted Smoke Surge at the knight. Two long, diamond shaped spikes fused together like Siamese twins shot out of the Staff of Light. The moment it hit the knight, a large cloud of smoke appeared, growing larger and larger until it enclosed him like a dirty bubble. The smoke filled up his lungs, burning them bit by bit. He suffocated from the lack of breathable air and hit the ground.

Upon hearing the thud, Rosa focused on the fifth and final knight. By now, the tips of the flames were licking the wooden pillars that were holding up the balcony in which Sir Mordred stood. The final knight was trapped underneath. He dropped his sword, and a wet spot appeared on his black platelegs as he pissed himself.

"Please…" he begged. "I surrender! I surrender!"

Pretending that he hadn't spoke, Rosa pointed her Staff at him and casted the bones to bananas spell. A yellow orb appeared at the tip of the staff and it headed straight for the fifth knight. It hit him, and every single bone in his body, from his skull to his ribs, to his femurs became soft yellow bananas unable to support the weight of all those organs. His body puffed up like dough rising in the oven until he looked like a large blob of cotton candy, with rolls of skin that looked soft and malleable as silly putty. Rosa thought he looked like Peter in the episode where he wished he had no bones.

"AAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUGGGHHHHH!" he cried in terror.

Just then the beams cracked. The fire had spread halfway up, and they were no longer able to hold the balcony. Seconds later, it came crashing down like a broken elevator with a loud thud, knocking Sir Mordred off his feet. Taking her chance, Rosa casted Saradomin Strike. A giant bolt of white lightning appeared all of a sudden from the ceiling as if Zeus himself commanded it, and struck Sir Mordred. His metal armor conducted the electrical currents it brought, and it heated up too, causing his skin to burn like he just stepped into the flames, in addition to the short circuiting of his heart and brain. He then began to shake like he was having a seizure, his eyes and mouth both wide open, like he was about to scream, only none came out, it was like he was already dead.

Just then a woman teleported beside Mordred's body. She was pale and had long, wavy dark hair swept to one side and blue eyes and she wore a low cut purple dress with a golden belt and transparent bell sleeves in blue.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! STOOOOP! SPARE MY SON!" she begged.

It was….Morgan Le Fay!

"WHAT THE FUCK HAVE YOU DONE?" Morgan wailed.

"Defended myself," Rosa retorted cooly.

Morgan glared at her. If looks could kill this would've been it. But then her eyes shifted to Mordred's now unmoving body and her expression softened.

"Look, if you leave us alone, I'll give you whatever you want," she pleaded.

"How do I free Merlin?" Rosa asked.

Morgan sighed. " I suppose I can live with that fool Merlin being loose for the sake of my son."

She knelt down, with her back facing Rosa and quickly took off Sir Mordred's helm and armor. His tar black hair was singed at the tips and his eyebrows were burned off. On his chest were red Lichtenberg marks resembling lightning, as if the bolt that struck him left its own imprint. Morgan felt his neck for a pulse, and then she laid her palms out to his chest. A green aura surrounded her hands, and Sir Mordred's marks began to slowly fade. But Morgan began to groan in pain, and Rosa saw drops of blood falling down to Sir Mordred's body.

What the fuck?

She leaned in closer, and saw the blood was coming from Morgan's mouth. It ran down her chin and dripped onto Sir Mordred. The green aura around her hands grew brighter, and Sir Mordred's chest began to slowly move up and down. But the more he recovered, the more blood Rosa saw dripping down.

What spell's this? What spell lets you heal someone at your own expense?

And then it hit her, like a kick in the mouth.

Heal Other! Rosa realized. Of course...ingame it's cast from your hitpoints. Now, I guess you're transferring your life force to him.

Soon, Sir Mordred's eyelids began to flutter, and Morgan stopped the spell.

"Now that he's been stabilized, tell me," Rosa ordered. "How do I set Merlin free?"

"Setting him free won't be easy though." Morgan answered. "You will need to find a magic symbol as close to the crystal as you can find. You will then need to drop some bat's bones on the magic symbol while holding a lit black candle. This will summon a mighty spirit named Thrantax. You will need to bind him with magic words. Then you will need the sword Excalibur with which the spell was bound in order to shatter the crystal."

"Where's Excalibur?" Rosa asked. "Did you steal that too?"

Morgan shook her head. "The lady of the lake has it. I don't know if she'll give it to you though, she can be rather temperamental."

"What do you mean?" Rosa questioned.

"She likes to put people through arbitrary tests," Morgan explained. "To see if you're of 'good' character. She likes to dress up as a beggar to see if you're charitable or not. If not she'll throw a fit and turn you into a newt. You wouldn't be the first adventurer she tried that move on, so be on the lookout for beggars looking for gold or shelter."

"And the incantation?"

" You will find the magic words at the base of a chaos altar," Morgan answered. "The one in Varrock."

"Thanks."

"And then Rosa thrusted the Staff of Light forward, like it was a spear and it went through the back of Morgan's skull. It didn't stop moving until it impaled her completely, with the silver pointy end coming out of her mouth.

Good fucking riddance bitch, Rosa thought. You were gonna be trouble anyways. I read ahead on the wiki. In the future, you'll be teaming up with the Sinclairs against Camelot. I just stopped that plan dead in its tracks.

She smirked again, pulled out a vial of purple anti-fire potion, and drank a quarter of it, so the flames all around wouldn't burn her. It was so liberating, knowing that she wasn't limited by the choices the game would allow her, like a caged bird finally flying. Now she could bribe whoever she wanted, kill whoever would stand in her way. She had the power now. And power was everything.

Endnotes

I hope the fight scenes weren't too confusing to follow. I don't have a lot of experience writing those. I had my character do what you never had the choice of doing ingame. It'll probably have some unseen consequences, killing Morgan especially.

Speaking of Morgan, I based her lookswise on Morgana from BBC's Merlin, on the earlier seasons when she knew how to dress,

I also wanted to explore how having that much power could affect someone so if Rosa feels like a Designated Hero, that's why.

I thought Morgan's original lines on freeing Merlin was too vague, so I rewrote it. How do you think I did?
