This is the first time actually writing a story, so I'm sorry if it's a little different. I will continue to make more of this story but I won't have a schedule for it most likely random updates... At first, I didn't think writing a story would take so long but it actually takes time. I have gained respect for a lot of people who write hundreds of thousands of words for some stories. it's impressive.
I got a lot of ideas from many stories, but this one really gave me the idea for this story. Go read 'A Loud Mouth And The Back Of A Pencil's Daughter' by xXQueenDiamond17 I clicked on it by accident but I enjoyed it.
I don't own My Hero Academia or any of the characters besides the OCs. Stay safe during this hard time and enjoy this story.
It was an okay evening in Musutafu, Japan. But in a world of quirks its a norm. Skys are clear and the temperature is warm. The sky is a beautiful saffron color that paints the city orange. My name is Rhitta Usagiyama. I am 23 and about 5' 2". I am a teacher, it was actually my dream job too teach. I have black hair with grayish silver streaks and some nice shiny blue eyes. I also have raccoon ears and a tail that I inherited from my mother. But my quirk I actually got from my father, which was "Steal". I can steal or take anything from someone within my senses. The best senses are in order of sight, hearing, feeling, taste, and last is smelling. Anything tied to a person by DNA or on their body can in a way be stolen. I can't steal an eyeball or anything like that but I can disable their eyesight. It lasts for about ten minutes. There is another drawback but it's not important at the moment. I was ridiculed for having a villainous quirk but I pulled through. Oh and I'm 8 months pregnant. Which is the reason I'm going to the convenience store to buy some-
"Hey! Leave him alone!" An alley screams?
"Whatcha gonna do, make us?" comes another voice. Walking up to the alley's entrance I peek inside, I see five children, no older than nine. Two kids are holding a green-haired boy against the long side of a dumpster. One has bat-like wings with a round body and black hair and the other's fingers are longer with a stick-like figure and greyish hair. In front of them is a spiky-haired boy making pops on his hands. The last child was a girl, she had navy blue hair with pitch-black skin. She's pretty brave confronting the three boys. It's clear why she did though the little green boy has a swelling eye and some first-degree burns on his shoulder. The tiny lady probably won't be able to handle all three of them.
"Oi, Children! The hell you doing in this alley? And you two let him go." All of them jump at my shout. The blonde boy turns to me with a nasty snarl as the two boys release the green-haired… grass patch who rushes to the girl. I gotta think of a nickname for her...
"Who the fuck are you!? The hell do you want!?" Tiny explosions come from his palms as he yaps at me. He looks like a tiny pomeranian, adorable little creatures.
Raising an eyebrow I reply "First off watch your language. Pomeranians don't curse. Second, the little explosions gotta stop. And third, explain what is happening here."
"Huh? What the hell did you call me!? I'm not some mutt! I am Bakugo Katsuki and I'm the future #1 hero! I'm gonna be the best!" Shouts the little pomeranian.
With a small flash of my eyes, his explosions stop confusing everyone. "Not with that attitude you won't. A hero stops trouble, not causes it. He saves them, not hurts them. Believe me, I am a 'hero'." Which is technically true, I do have a hero license but I don't use it much. It was a requirement for the teaching job. My eyes gleam a blue hue, intimidation tactic I learned from my friend, works wonders. "Your quirk will return to you in less than 10 minutes. I suggest you three boys go before I call the police accusing you of harassing a pregnant woman." A grimace appears on his face. With a click of his tongue, he and his flunkeys leave the alleyway. I turn to face them "hey greenie, come here. You, young lady, tell me what happened." With a sigh, the young girl starts her side of the story as I check over the boy's injuries.
"Well, I was coming home from the library when I saw those three beating him up. I couldn't just let it happen so I ran in to stop them just as you appeared. Oh, and my name is Vanessa Gray." With the boy checked and cleared, we turn to leave the alley. When we finally come out of the alley, I check my watch on my left wrist. My wife should be home at 8 pm and I want to see her before bed. Yes, I said wife. Her name is Rumi. Many people wonder how I got pregnant with a wife, no I did not cheat on her as most people assume. There was this doctor who could turn hair into other bodily fluids, like sperm cells, it was cool to watch but weird to participate… the time is 7:46, in less than fifteen minutes she gets off. These kids should get home.
"So why don't I walk you two home? Don't want either of you to be on the news." I offer it as I. Now that we are out in the evening sun I can see that she has palish blue eyes that shine orange with the setting sun. As she finishes the boy decided to speak up.
With a cute little headshake, "I'm Izuku Midoriya. Thanks a lot for the help. Um, Miss, how did you do that to Kacchan's quirk? After your eyes flashed it just stopped. It was so weird. Are you really a hero because it would be super useful to just stop someone who is using a quirk…" He trails off into a creepy little mutter.
"Hey Kid, stop that and speak louder I can't hear anything you're saying." I interrupt him after about 5 seconds. I have enhanced hearing and I couldn't even hear it. "And yes I'm a hero and no I can't just turn off everyone's quirk. Not like a friend of mine. So which way do both of you live?" To answer my question they both point to the left which is exactly the direction I was heading. We continue walking as Midoriya keeps talking about how erasing quirks could be so helpful in hero work. We soon end up at a light that we have to wait for. The only other people waiting to cross the busy street was a muscular blond man and a businessman. Midoriya suddenly goes quiet as I feel small tugs on my dress.
"Hey lady, do you have a water quirk?" She continues to tug on my dress forcing me to look at the little girl. Veronica, right? No, it's Vanessa. Yeah, that's right.
"No, Why?"
"Cuz you're leaking water…" Looking down I see that she is right… I am leaking water. Huh weird… WAIT!?
"AHHHHHH okay, there's the PAAAIN." I grab ahold of. Apparently I attracted a lot of attention with my shout because in the next moment we all hear.
"IT IS FINE NOW. WHY? BECAUSE I AM HERE!" The pain forces me to ignore All Might. "WHAT SEEMS TO BE THE PROBLEM HERE?"
"Isn't it Obvioussss. I'm going into labo-AHHH" I try to say but utterly fail. My vision starts to blur from the pain but I can tell through the haze that the kids are scared and a small crowd starts to form, not only from my shouting but because All Might is, in fact, here.
"All Might you have to help her! She saved us from bullies and she's super nice!" I can vaguely hear grass top yell way too quickly. He keeps going but I can't focus.
"DON'T WORRY YOUNG MAN, I SHALL GET HER TO THE HOSPITAL AS FAST AS I CAN. STAND BACK EVERYONE I NEED AS MUCH ROOM AS POSSIBLE FOR THIS." He picked me up with a surprisingly gentle hold. "I'M NOT HURTING YOU AM I?" I shake my head. He nods and bends down in a small running position. With one powerful kick to the earth, we fly past everyone. In less than 45 seconds we're at the hospital. He gently sets me down as he calls for help.
30 minutes in and my wife, Rumi, finally arrived. She looked nervous, I've only ever seen her nervous twice. Her first mission, and our wedding. Now I can finally add this to the count. She runs in and takes my hand as she tells me "It's okay. I'm here now."
As the night settles in, nearly 9 hours of constant pushing, most of the pain subsides. I've done it. I get to hold my daughter for the first time. My little cub, my little kit, my little angel. After 20 minutes, my arms tire out and I hand her off to the doctor. Rumi had already fallen asleep 5 minutes ago. Her work is exhausting especially if you're in the top hundred like she is. I follow suit not long after. What a wonderful day.
