"I will bring Sasuke back! That's a promise of a lifetime! Believe it! I'll get stronger than Sasuke!"

Four days it took one day for Naruto to catch up to Sasuke and have an all-out battle with him resulting in his loss having Kakashi carry him back the second day him being unconscious in the hospital recuperating the third day awake and talking the fourth day being cleared from the hospital his injuries miraculously healed and are just minor now heading straight for the gate with Jiraiya declaring that he is leaving the village for a while to travel and train to get stronger to bring Sasuke back with the sannin leaving Sakura alone as she watched their retreating forms in the distance slowly vanishing from sight.

"He's really gone too now."

'Outer-'

'Don't.'

Sakura turned her back to the gate and walked away from it, first Sasuke then Kakashi, and now Naruto? Layla told her Kakashi jumped back into anbu missions not giving himself a break as he was constantly sent off to do missions she knew Kakashi was pushing what he felt down and so he was distracting himself with missions but because the whole team separated team seven has officially been disbanded now and that broke something in Sakura that she didn't know could break 'I'm a failure. I failed at keeping my team from falling apart…why am I so weak?' She thought bitterly as she walked the village with no real destination in her mind 'Is it me? Am I the reason why no one wants to be around?' She had no tears left to shed she was numb to everything that is happening she just was so exhausted from being angry or sad.

'Outer it's-'

A flare of chakra appeared, making Sakura pause. It came just as quickly as it left. She turned to where it came from and realized it came from the compound making her eyes widen slightly as she took off towards it "What the hell was that!?" Sakura pushed chakra into her feet making her go faster as she sensed another flare "I'm not in the mood for this today." She whispered as she rushed past the compound gates seeing groups of her clansmen standing around some glaring at each other pink eyes swirling.

'Are they-'

'I believe so inner.'

Sakura sees two of her clansmen rush at each other and that's when she had enough and body flickered between the two her leg extended as she kicked one of her clansmen sending them flying back into the concrete wall while she grabbed the other one and slammed them on the ground leaving a slight crater "I had enough!" She snarled as she spun around her own pink eyes glaring at her clan "You all talk about having pride! But look at this fighting like animals! We are the Haruno clan! Show some dignity!" She never thought she'll see her clan fighting against each other "I will have none of this! If you try to fight each other again you will regret it!" She declared glaring at them one last time as she got ready to walk away.

"Don't act all high and mighty when you're just weak! Layla should be the heiress!"

"You didn't even activate the kekkei genkai until recently! That's pathetic!"

Killing intent filled the air as her clansmen fell to their knees shaking at the amount "Sakura!" Just as it came it vanished making them breathe in relief as Sakura looked toward the voice to see Layla standing there with unreadable eyes.

"Layla."

Layla saw the altercation and was ready to step in but Sakura beat her to it and stopped it and when she was ready to walk away insults were thrown at her making Sakura angry if Layla wasn't there she honestly doesn't know what Sakura would have done with the killing intent she let out at them with no hesitation.

"I made my point. Don't do it again."

Sakura walked away from them intent on passing Layla but was stopped by her hand on her arm making her look at her "Sakura are you okay?" She stared at her pink eyes still swirling in her anger but then soon faded away replaced with blank emotionless emerald eyes.

"I'm fine." She ripped her arm out of Layla's hold and walked away letting Layla watch her back as she left to go pick Ruka up after all she did promise to spend time with her now that she was free and had no team to distract her now.

'She'll leave me too if I get closer to her.' Sakura thought bitterly as she stuffed her hands in her pockets and walked faster 'She'll betray me as everyone else does!' Sakura grits her teeth as she thought about everything that's happened to her.

"Sakura-Chan!"

Sakura looks over to where the voice came from and sees an elderly woman waving her over "I have something for you!" She yelled to her giving her a soft smile as Sakura walked over to her "I just made a batch of your favorite dango." She handed her a bag of dango "It's been a while since I last saw you."

"I know. I'm sorry Chiko-San, I've been busy."

She waved her hand "It's okay dear I know you're busy with your Shinobi duties! If only your parents could see you now." She frowned sadly "They would be so proud of the young woman you've become. I know I am." She gave her a grandmotherly smile as she picked up her broom to sweep her porch "Now carry on I know you're probably going to go pick up Ruka right? Better not keep her waiting." She stated to her seeing her nod.

"Thank you."

Sakura continued on her way to her aunts' house which wasn't that long as she found herself there already "I'm here." Sakura called out entering the house hearing footsteps heading in her direction.

"Onee-chan!"

Sakura smiled as Ruka hugged her happy to see her "Chiko-San gave me some dango so we can share it together." She watched as Ruka grinned and nodded "You ready to go?" She asked seeing Ruka turn around grabbing her shoes to wear.

"Yeah, onee-chan!"

{+}

"Onee-Chan?"

Sakura stopped in the middle of the forest and dropped the bag of dango on the ground and faced Ruka seeing that she was looking at her confused "I'm going to teach you how to walk up a tree." Sakura watched as Rukas eyes widened in excitement "You should be learning about chakra in the academy right about now?" She watched as Ruka nodded to her question "Good that covers that now watch closely Ruka." Sakura turned to a tree and walked closer to it "You're going to want to place chakra into your feet. Make sure it's the right amount. Don't put too much, if you do then your chakra will break the bark of the tree and you'll fall. Too little and you won't stick to it." She put her foot on the tree bark and then walked up to it to the tree branch to sit on.

"So cool!"

"Now Ruka focus and look for your chakra guide it towards your feet and place it on the tree." Sakura watched as Ruka closed her eyes, concentrating "You're a Haruno, we are known for our near-perfect chakra control so you should get it on your first time as I did." Sakura explained watching as Ruka opened her eyes showing the determination in them and walked to the tree Sakura was on and placed her foot on it testing it.

'Smart.'

'Better than Naruto and Sasuke who ran headfirst without testing to see if they would stick.'

Ruka then put her other foot on the tree sticking to it as well and walked up the tree to the branch her cousin was sitting on panting lightly.

"I did it!"

Sakura smiled at her enthusiasm being shown on Rukas's face as she panted looking up at her older cousin "Your chakra coils are still forming so you don't have a lot of chakra yet but in time this will become second nature." Sakura brought her hand up and flicked Ruka in the forehead watching as Ruka groaned and rubbed her forehead.

"I'm proud of you."

Rukas eyes widened, dropping her hand to her side as she stared at her older cousin. She was smiling at her "Now how about we eat those dango?" Sakura picked Ruka up and jumped off the tree branch landing safely and putting Ruka down.

She walked over to the bag and rummaged through it pulling out a container with dango in it and motioned for Ruka to come closer as she sat on the ground opening it "She made my favorite."She pulled out two sticks and gave one to Ruka "Enjoy." Sakura bit into her dango and enjoyed the sweetness of it.

"It's really good onee-chan!"

"Chiko-San is known for making the best dango."

'I won't let my guard down around her though.' Sakura thought bitterly as she looked into the forest. 'She supports the coupe and for that, I won't be fooled by her false kindness to me.' Sakura finished her dango and stood up seeing Ruka was done too.

"How about we play a game now?"

"Yeah!"

{+}

Ruka pouted as she rested on her older cousin's back "I'm sorry." She mumbled in Sakura's back clutching her shirt.

"Why are you apologizing?"

"I got hurt."

Sakura smiled as she looked up into the sky seeing the sun setting slowly. "You don't need to apologize to me Ruka." She could feel Ruka clutch around her neck as she buried her head into her back. "It happens that people get hurt. I'm not mad at you." She stated to her

"Really?"

"Of course. I can never be mad at you Ruka."

Sakura could see the compound come into view and her smile dropped as she grew tense while carrying Ruka on her back "You and I were both born to this clan and therefore we are forced to grow up too soon." Sakura's childhood flashed before her eyes showing her how she grew up "I lost mine. I won't allow this clan to take yours away too from you." She declared to her hearing her gasp

"Onee-Chan."

"After all it's my job to protect you."

"I love you onee-Chan!"

"I know Ruka."

'I won't let anyone harm you even if I have to make a painful decision.'

"Sakura."

She looked over to see Layla standing in front of Ruka's home, arms crossed as she watched her carefully "I don't have time for this Layla. I need to bring Ruka back home." Sakura sees Layla's eyes narrow but she stepped aside to let her enter the house but followed her in as Sakura sets Ruka on the floor.

"Did you have fun Ruka-chan?" Saki asked her daughter as she wiped her hands on her apron.

"It was awesome okaa-San!"

Saki chuckled at her daughter's antics and look over at Sakura to see that she was staring at Ruka with soft eyes but that changed as she looked at her and her eyes hardened into steel.

"I'll see you later Ruka."

"Bye onee-Chan!"

Sakura turned and walked out of the house with Layla following behind her "I don't have time for this." Sakura spat out at her, turning to glare at her "What is it?" She crossed her arms waiting for Layla to talk.

"I think you know."

Sakura turned away, giving her a good view of her back "Why are you avoiding me?" Layla asked as she crossed her arms her blue eyes looking at her cousins back.

"I'm not."

"Yes, you are."

"I'm not." She bit out still not turning to face her.

"Sakura."

Sakura clenched her fist at the way Layla said her name and turned to look at her face remaining blank not showing emotions.

"You'll leave too like everyone else does."

"What?"

"Everyone leaves me so what's the difference with you?" She smiled ruefully at her "Everyone always leaves me." She stated to her turning away.

"I'm not everyone else Sakura! I swore to you that I'll protect you and that means I'll never betray you or leave your side that you can count on!"

"Liar!"

"I'm not lying! Look me in the eye and you tell me if I'm lying." Layla declared watching as Sakura turned fully to stare into her eyes with broken eyes of her own.

Sakura stared into Layla's blue eyes seeing the determination and truth in them making her heart clench in sorrow realizing she was telling the truth.

"See? I won't leave you."

"How can you be so sure?"

Layla walked up to her staring into her emerald eyes.

"Because nothing will take me away from you."

{+}

Sakura back flipped dodging the kunai and shuriken that was thrown at her from her clone helping her work on her reflexes which were improving immensely as she didn't have a scratch on her from the weapons that were being thrown at her. She kept dodging until there was nothing left to throw at her by her clone, making her smirk as she panted lightly, performing hand signs "Water style water bullet jutsu!" Water shot out of her mouth at her clones making them dodge letting the bullet hit the trees behind them.

'Now!'

Sakura smirked as she aimed her own shuriken at her clones seeing that they were avoiding them making her pull her hand back showing that there was wire connected to them as they shot back at her clones wrapping around them making them struggle but then froze as they see the shuriken blinking "Kai!" Sakura yelled detonating the paper bomb attached to them destroying her clones.

'Nice work outer!'

Sakura smiled as she sat on the ground panting "It's still not enough though." She whispered looking at the ground "I need to be the strongest to protect Ruka." Sakura closed her eyes trying to clear her mind of the negativity but that's when she heard something cutting through the air towards her making her hand shot up catching a kunai inches from her face making her slowly open her eyes pink petals spinning as she looked into the forest to see a chakra signal there 'Who the hell!?' Sakura thought as she vanished from sight to reappear behind the other kunai at their throat "Who the hell are you!?" She snarled as she pressed the kunai closer to their throat "What business do you have attacking me!?" She demanded angrily as there was still no response but all of sudden they vanish.

"What!?"

"Haruno-San."

Sakura turned kunai still grasped as she looked at the ninja and her body tensed as she recognized the mask of an anbu and the gray cloak that hid his body 'Why is Konoha attacking me?!' Sakura gulped and got ready if the anbu attacked again.

The anbu vanished from sight chakra hidden as Sakura looked around the area seeing no sign of him but that's when she felt a kick to her back making her fly forward onto the ground but she caught herself in time and landed on her feet "You bastard!" She spat as she body flickered towards the anbu.

Sakura slashed at his midsection but was blocked by a tanto making her pull back and spin doing a roundhouse kick but his arm came up blocking his side from her kick but he wasn't prepared for the chakra behind it making it stronger as it connected causing him to fly to the ground a crack being heard "Cha! Bastard!" She threw the kunai at him putting chakra into it to make it faster as it went flying at him but he quickly recovered and dodged. She watched as he performed hand signs making her eyes narrow at him.

'His arm should be broken!'

He slammed his hand onto the ground making her tense as she saw the ground forming into a fist and going straight for her "Okay! If that's how it is!" Sakura ran towards the fist just as it was about to hit her she body flickered on top of it running at the anbu performing her own hand signs letting blue electricity travel to her hand chirping like birds "Chidori!" She yelled as she thrust her hand forward at the anbu.

Tsunade leaned back in her chair as her chocolate brown eyes looked Ino up and down analyzing her seeing that she was fiddling with her hands, head bowed cheeks flushed "I don't have all day Ino what is it?" Tsunade questioned since Ino didn't make an appointment and was determined to talk to her

"Tsunade-sama…..I…."she bit her lip and sighed as she looked up, locking eyes with the Hokage "Please take me as your apprentice!" Ino exclaimed making Tsunade's eyes widen not expecting it.

"Don't you have your clan to train you?"

"I do but my clan only goes so far!"

"Why?"

Ino paused and thought about her life growing up meeting Sakura, being best friends, their friendship ending, their rivalry, believing she was stronger than Sakura, the forest of death watching Sakura put her life on the line to protect her teammates, there match and finding out what really happened to her and realizing she was never as strong as Sakura was, being on the sidelines watching her team and Sakura grow stronger leaving her behind.

"I'm weak Tsunade-sama." She smiled sadly "My team is growing stronger so is Sakura! I've always believed I was strong but after the chunin exams, I realized I worried too much about my looks and not enough on training! They are leaving me behind! I feel like I'm on the sidelines as everyone gets stronger and I feel like I made no progress at all." Hearing it out loud stabbed Ino in the heart "I want to be like you. You're well known for your medical ninjutsu and your taijutsu. Please consider me your apprentice Tsunade-sama! I promise I won't let you down!" Ino bowed to her eyes closed as she waited for her answer.

"Okay." Inos eyes shot open as she stood up with shock written on her face "But first you need to prove yourself to me, Yamanaka." Tsunade leaned forward elbows on her desk, her head resting in her hands. "You need to prove that you are getting stronger for yourself and nobody else! You are your own person, don't let anyone tell you differently." Tsunade watched as Ino nodded.

"Hai!"

"Now I want you to learn the mystic palm in one week if you can do that then consider yourself my apprentice."

"I will!"

Tsunade smiled at her determination

"Very well tomorrow at the hospital in the morning, meet me there. I'll show you the mystic palm myself and then it's all up to you."

"I understand."

"Good dismissed."

"Thank you!"

Tsunade watched as she walked out the door in a hurry "Taking on an apprentice Tsunade-sama? Is that even a good idea?" Shizune questioned making her look at her with sharp eyes

"You didn't see it, Shizune, the look she had in her eyes was close to an almost broken spirit. She needs something to drive her to better herself. I have faith in her. Before you know it she'll have mastered the technique."

"What about the elders? She's a clan heiress, they will have something to say about this."

Tsunade scowled as she opened her drawer and pulled out a cup and sake bottle pouring herself a cup ignoring Shizune's disapproval look "If they have something to say then let them! Those old fools have nothing on me!" She declared drinking the sake as her eyes travel to the window seeing an anbu slide it open and slip in.

"Hatake."

"Mission accomplished."

{+}

Sakura stumbled back in horror as she watched the anbu drop to the forest ground, a gaping hole in their chest where their heart should be "Wh…..what have I…?" She trailed off not being able to finish her sentence as she collapsed to her knees hunched over as she puked.

'It was either you or him outer.'

Sakura looked back at the anbus lifeless form then at her hand that was drenched in blood "He…he didn't need to die." She whispered as tears blurred her vision from the sight of her hand that was covered in blood "I shouldn't have done that!" She stood up holding her stomach while wiping at her eyes.

'You're a ninja outer it's either kill or be killed there's no in-between.'

'He was a Konoha ninja though!' She walked towards the corpse staring down at the body 'Why would Konoha try to kill me!?' She felt betrayed at her own village trying to kill her when all she ever did was try to help it 'What do I do?! No one can know!' Sakura thought hysterically.

'Burn the body.'

Sakura faltered.

'W-what?'

'If you burn the body beyond recognition no one will know or find out.'

'I can't do that! What if he has a family waiting for him at home? They will want closure!'

'And let you be locked up for defending yourself!? You used Chidori outer! If they investigate who do you think it will lead them back to? Only two people in Konoha know that Jutsu! And I highly doubt they will suspect a pink-haired genin.' Sakura's eyes widened in realization at inners words knowing that it was the truth she couldn't let her Sensei take the fall for what she did.

"You're right." She admitted as her eyes hardened, "I won't let anyone take the fall for me when I did this. It's my burden to bear now so no one can know, not even Layla." She declared as her hand dropped to her side "Someone sent this anbu after me. I have a feeling I know who did." Danzo appeared in Sakura's mind causing her anger to grow at the man knowing he had the power to do this "He wants me out of the way. Why?" Sakura squatted down and reached for the anbus mask pulling it off to see blue pupil less eyes that were the color of the sky staring back at her blankly unseeing.

"His eyes…!"

'Ino.'

Sakura reacts without thinking, letting her hands form familiar hand signs bringing them up to her mouth blowing out fire watching as the body was encased in flames. She could smell burning flesh making her hunch over and vomit again at the smell.

'This is a new path for us outer.'

Sakura turned back to the corpse watching as the flames ate the flesh getting stronger tears trailed down her face as she thought of the eyes that stared at her and how much they looked like Inos own eyes that will haunt her now.

"He sent an anbu to kill me. God knows if he's tried this before with anyone else in my clan."

"I suppose Ruka lived a long life then."

'He wouldn't!'

'I wouldn't put it past that bastard.'

Sakura's eyes bled pink two petals spinning as tears fell down her cheeks "I refuse to let him touch a hair on her head!" A third petal began to form in her eyes as her chakra spiked in anger at the thought of Danzo hurting her younger cousin.

{+}

Layla walked inside the house her younger cousin lives in and paused as she looked at the kunai that was still in the wall "So much hate is in you Sakura." Layla looked over at a picture that hung on the wall showing a family that used to be whole and full of happiness but now is void with only one living member. "You used to be so full of life and happiness but now it's gone and all I see is the anger you feel." Layla walked down the hall towards Sakura's bedroom.

"Layla-nee!"

"Aniki said we'll all play together!"

"I love you Layla-nee!"

Layla opened the door to Sakura's room allowing her to step inside while she looked around the room noting that no pictures were hung or on her dresser except one that was placed face down from view making her Frown as she walked towards Sakura's bed unclasping the tanto that was strapped to her back letting her place it on the bed "I give this to you." She stared at the tanto that was given to her when she was promoted to anbu.

'I trust you to take good care of this.'

She turned away from the bed ready to walk away but paused by sakura's dresser picking up the frame that held the picture in it and looked at it noticing it was the picture of team seven but the glass protecting the picture was cracked making her frown as she took in the face of the picture seeing Kakashi with his hands on top of Naruto's and Sasuke's head with a closed eye smile as naruto had his arms crosses glaring at Sasuke while he looked uninterested in the picture as he was looking elsewhere and then finally her eyes landed on Sakura seeing that she was between the two her eyes closed both fists closed by her face and a smile plastered on it "They really were another family to you. A dysfunctional one but a family." She put the frame down and left the house leaving a piece of herself behind for Sakura to have.

"Layla-nee!" She looked over to the one that called out to her to see Ruka waving to her as she ran to her "Wait up!" She stopped as Ruka caught up to her grinning.

"What is it Ruka-Chan?"

"Is onee-Chan with you?"

Layla looked into Rukas eyes seeing the innocence she still held and remembered the time when Sakura used to have that look but was quickly squashed by the clan "No she isn't." Layla offered a small smile as Ruka pouted shoulders slumped as she bowed her head biting her lip.

"She never makes time for me anymore."

Layla frowned.

"Does she not love me anymore?"

"Stop that." Ruka looked up at Layla seeing that she was staring at her with an emotion she couldn't place "Sakura loves you more than anyone and anything in the world. Don't you ever believe that she doesn't love you." She declared eyes hardening.

"Everyone keeps telling me that! But onee-Chan never tells me she loves me anymore!"

"Just because she doesn't say those words doesn't mean she doesn't love you. There are other ways to show love towards someone Ruka." Layla stated watching as Rukas eyes widened. "Just to spend time with one another is love." Layla smiled softly at her as she ruffled her hair "I know Sakura she loves you dearly." She placed her hand back at her side and watched as Ruka placed her own hand on her forehead lost in thought.

"Promise me something."

Ruka snapped out of her thoughts at Layla's words.

"What is it?"

Layla looked towards Sakura's home that used to be so full of life but is now empty and cold with only Sakura residing inside the home alone.

"Promise me that you will always be there for Sakura."

Ruka tilted her head to the side in confusion but nods

"I'll always be there for onee-Chan!"

"Even if I'm gone."

Ruka's eyes widened in shock at her words.

"You're scaring me Layla-nee."

Layla chuckled and rubbed the back of her neck "Sorry, Ruka-chan."Layla turned around giving Ruka one last glance.

"Take care."

Ruka stared dumbfounded as she watched Layla walk away from her.

{+}

"I won't be able to visit for a while."

A frown.

"I'm sorry. I failed you."

A broken chuckle was heard.

"Forgive me Shisui please."

"I'm Shisui Uchiha! What's your name?"

"Itachi! Tell Layla-Chan the time I kicked your but!"

"You two always gang up on me!"

"Dango! Here we come!"

"I'm always here for you Layla-Chan!"

"Your cousin needs you. She lost her brother."

"Never forget Layla-chan. I'll always be in your heart no matter what happens."

Layla's eyes closed as she tried to push the memories back of him but failed, making her shake her head "I can't be distracted." She whispered as her eyes opened showing the sad look in them "I'm going to show him what it means to mess with a Haruno." She declared as her eyes hardened into steel at her words "Danzo will regret crossing my path!" She snarled as she turned away from the grave her fist clenched.

'I won't fail in protecting my precious people.' She thought fiercely as she walked away from the grave knowing that she had a hard fight ahead of her.

She body flickered away from the grave to a cave and let her chakra flair alerting the other to her presence. She wasn't going to hide from them. Layla pulled out four kunai as 6 root anbus appear in front of her. "How cowardly." She spat as her killing intent leaked into the air "He couldn't come and face me himself." She smirked as the six ran at her, making her throw the four kunai that had explosive tags attached to them "Kai!" She yelled out letting them detonate hearing screams in the air but ignoring them as dust and dirt filled the area blocking everyone's view. She body flickered to the closest one grabbing them by the neck "You can thank Danzo for this!" She snapped the root anbus neck letting him fall motionless to the ground. Her eyes flash to the left and she ducked as a root anbu came flying past her head tanto raised poised as if they were trying to sever her head making her eyes narrow as she jumped up at the ninja chakra in her fist as she uppercut the root ninja sending him in the air making him let go of the tanto. Layla appeared above him and kicked him back down chakra in her foot as she watched him collide with the ground leaving a good size crater.

Layla landed on the ground safely and looked to where the other four were seeing that they were all side by side now tense "If we all attack her together she can't beat us!" One of them said optimistically making Layla grin sending shivers down their back

"If that's what you believe then by all means attack me together then."

No one attacked.

Layla laughed loudly making them flinch as it was loud throughout the quiet forest "You… ." She raised her hand and placed it over her eyes "You really are fools!" She yelled as her hand dropped to her side showing pink eyes with petals swirling in them a sadistic look in her eyes

"Don't look!"

Too late.

Two more drops to the ground screaming.

"Make it stop!"

"Stay away!"

Layla watched as the two on the ground kept yelling out words trapped in her genjutsu but her attention was brought back to the other two that were standing as she caught the shuriken coming at her "Child's play." She remarked as she dropped the shuriken vanishing, making the last two standing look around trying to find her but failing.

Too slow.

Layla elbowed one of the root anbus in the throat crushing their esophagus killing them instantly as she brought up her other arm that held a tanto in it now and stabbed the last one in the throat as well making them choke on their own blood as she roughly pulls the blade out.

"Kill me please!"

Pink eyes turn to the two on the ground withering still wishing for death "Fine." She watched as the two on the ground pulled out Kunais and pointed it at themselves and plunged the pointed blade in their chest killing themselves to stop their nightmare.

"6 down. Let's see how many more will stand in my way from Danzo!"

{+}

Danzo continued to stare at the concrete wall in front of him as the ground shook and explosions were heard making him clench his hand on his cane rage radiating off him at the person who was the cause of this commotion "Danzo-sama what do you wish?" He heard one of his root ninjas ask but chose to ignore them as he thought about his next move as he turned to look at the four kneeling on the floor.

"Jin didn't report in so he must have been found out by the Haruno heiress and killed." Danzo declared as he watched for a reaction and got none. "Therefore I leave the mission with you four kill Sakura Haruno." He tapped his cane on the floor, finalizing his order "Leave now." He demanded watching as the four looked up at him in shock.

"Bu-"

"Dan-"

"Troub-"

"Protect-"

"Enough!" Danzo yelled glaring at the four "I can handle myself against Layla Haruno! Now I gave you an order or would you rather I punish you for insubordination!" He yelled watching as the four flinched and shake their heads.

"We're sorry Danzo-sama."

"We'll leave now."

Danzo turned around again facing the wall as the four vanish leaving himself alone as the commotion got louder and then went silent

BAM!

The steel door was thrown across the room hitting the wall but not making Danzo flinch as he turned to meet layla's stare "Haruno." He spoke calmly like they were having a mission debrief and not planning her clan massacre "You owe me a new door." He watched as her eyes narrowed at him as he took in her appearance, seeing that she had bruises on arms and cuts littering her body. Her silver hair had dried blood in it and was slightly tangled.

"Take it out of my pay."

"What do I owe for this visit?"

Layla clenched her fist and took a breath trying to calm the anger roaring inside her "You threatened my cousin Danzo. You went to her hospital room when she was recovering!" She yelled petals spinning as let her killing intent leak out "I gave a clear warning Danzo. I told you I'll show you why my enemies fear me." She stated as her hand that held the tanto was raised.

Danzo watched her quietly and then reached up to unravel the bandages around his eye, making Layla confused "I won't underestimate you." He declared as he finished unraveling the bandages "Especially someone that has been said to be as strong as Itachi Uchiha." He stated as he slowly opened the eye that was covered showing Layla what was hidden making her gasp and drop the blade as she stared at the red eye looking back at her with a familiar pattern that she recognized instantly.

"How the hell do you have his eye!?"
