Love Strikes Twice- Part 15:

Draco was scratching his Pox spots despite Narcissa's insistence that it wouldn't do anything other than make them worse. It was only her in the room as Matt had had to step out to attend to something and Narcissa had given up on telling Draco to stop scratching at his Pox spots.

Lucius had now arrived and told Draco that the business could be saved and he was going to run the Vineyards until Draco was ready to take over. This caused a sigh from the younger Malfoy wizard as he couldn't have cared less, but thanked his father out of politeness as Lucius had been all but ready to step back from the Vineyards until the accident.

It was in that moment that Tori and Matt both walked back into the room and Tori instantly sighed as she looked at Draco scratching and sighed before glaring at him.

"Draco Lucius Malfoy! You stop that this instance or I will have to restrain you and I really do not want to have to do that," she said and Draco looked up at her, "you know I will as well if you don't stop scratching." She looked at him and Draco moved his hands away before watching as Astoria came to look at the Pox spots with Matt.

"We can put some cream on the spots but we will have to use it only where the Pox is away from the burns as we cannot risk them get aggravated," Matt said and Astoria nodded in agreement.

"Yes and we'll need to uncover the burns so we can see how they're doing," Astoria said as she looked at Matt and then at Draco, "it's going to be an interesting morning for you," she said with a slight smirk on her face before grabbing the tube of cream and began to rub some on his Pox free chest. She bit her lip and worked, trying not to let her feelings show as Draco's chest had always been a weakness for her.

Her heart was beating fast as she rubbed the cream on Draco's chest, it not helped by the fact that she could feel his heart beating fast underneath her hand.

"So Seraphina looks just like you Astoria," Narcissa said, breaking the sexual tension between her son and Astoria with a smirk.

"Y...yes she is rather. Matt always said that about her," Astoria replied before she cleaned her hand, "she's a little sweetheart as you saw and she cares rather a lot for everyone and wishes everyone to be her friend no matter who they are," she said with a chuckle, "Draco will next on her list I'm sure."

"Can't forget Mr. Hoppers," Matt said, "she's had that bunny since birth and it was far too big for her at the start and now she's outgrown him by a fair bit," he added.

"She already wants to learn French and Gaelic but we've said not until she's older," Astoria said before she began to look at Draco's burns, wincing slightly as some looked deep and aggressive, "I honestly was afraid of those deep burns," she said softly as she looked at Matt before he nodded.

"I think we'll have to flush them again. We can't risk an infection," he said before turning to Lucius and Narcissa, "if you two could go and get a coffee that would be ideal. There is no need for you to see this," he said and the two nodded before heading out of the room.

"Now Dray we are going to sedate you… just whilst we do this. It can get uncomfortable and you know I can't stand you in pain," Astoria said and Draco nodded, knowing there wasn't much point in arguing with her. He watched as the sedative began to take effect soon after and soon his world was dark.

"So what are we thinking for the next steps?" Matt questioned as the two began working on flushing the burns causing Astoria to sigh.

"He's not in a good place mentally and I'm debating on a psych assessment but I have the belief that he's not a danger to anyone," she said, "he just needs a reason to live again. I don't mean his work either."

"Maybe you and Sera will be good for him and maybe she can help him in a way that we do not know or understand yet," Matt said as he looked at Astoria, "if he needs one though don't hesitate. He may need more help than we think," he said and Tori nodded.

"He's also frustrated about things and I hate that he is. It appears that work became everything to him and he's lost his way. Narcissa said that happened after the War. I'm also thinking that we need to get his legs moving again and hydrotherapy could help greatly with that once we start treating the burns properly and can get everything waterproofed," she said before the fell silent and focused on the task in hand.

Eventually they finished and cleaned everything up before Matt looked at Tori,

"Hydrotherapy sounds good to me," he said before leading the way to the canteen to collect Lucius and Narcissa, taking them to Tori's office.

"We've managed to flush the burns and he's sleeping until the sedative wears off and then we can see how he feels," Astoria said as she sat behind her desk, "I've noticed that he's depressed and that is something I will have to keep an eye on," she said and Narcissa nodded and sighed before Astoria continued, "we are also thinking about hydrotherapy for his legs so he can start moving them again as he's been stuck in bed for a couple of days or so now."

"Thank you… for everything you are doing for Draco. It cannot be easy for either of you to treat him," Narcissa said as she looked at Astoria.

"It's our job Narcissa and it was, but, now all I want to do is make him better and hopefully help him to heal," Astoria said, "he's clearly in a dark place."

"The only thing that has mattered to him is his work. We considered an arranged marriage in passing but it was never serious," Lucius said, "we thought it might help him but, then again, it could have just made him even worse. His work helped so we just left it as it was."

"We kept a close eye on him and that was all we could do really," Narcissa said, "we just have no idea what to do really."

"Don't worry Lady Malfoy," Matt said, "we will help him in whatever way we see," he said before Astoria rose to her feet, a sea of anger washing over her, almost like she was getting ready to yell at someone…
