Fixing the Past and Falling in Love (rewrite)

Brandon Hunter was the sole survivor of Morytha. Wracked with guilt over his inability to fix the mistakes of his past and the overwhelming loss of any meaning to his life, there was little left for him in the world. His only choice now is to move forward, and see where the flow of time would take him.

8. An Update

Sorry I haven't uploaded in a while. This is just a bit of an update. The thing is, I keep on hitting writer's block constantly while trying to write this story, like every other paragraph at this point, and I feel like the quality of my writing and how interesting my story is keeps on going downhill as I lose the will to keep on writing this specific story.

So for now, I'm going to put this story on hiatus while I figure out what I want to do with it. I still very much intend to keep the promise I made of finishing every story I put out, and that still very much includes this story.

But for now, I'm going to focus on only working on 1 story at a time since I think that's the most I can realistically keep up with and that story is going to be "The Faerie Courts" which is something original and writing that story doesn't ever feel like it's dragging. This is kind of a similar situation with all the other stories I started around my high school senior year where I just lack the ability to continue to write them out in interesting ways while following canon.

I may end up soft resetting this story to have a different starting concept instead of just loosely following canon events. Same characters with similar origins and personalities but it's own unique thing. I'm thinking of doing the same for all my other stories that I put out around that time... which is everything except for Faerie Courts actually now that I think about it.
