So Onix Island is pretty much over now. This is more of a wrap-up piece then an actual chapter. That's why it's so short.

Disclaimer: I don't own Pokémon.

Piplup POV:

"So, you were attacked by a huge Steelix who says it's the king of the island?" Pikachu asked as he frowned.

Oshawott had exited the bushes before me in order to distract the trainers. This let me walk straight over to Pikachu to get him on board with my plan. I pulled him aside and told him about the event that just transpired, minus what happened between me and Oshawott.

"And it said it was sending all the Onix to try and kill you?" he questioned. I nodded and he crossed his arms, obviously not believing me. Honestly, it was such a wild story I couldn't blame him. "Okay then, why does it want you dead? What did you do to it?"

I could not tell him the truth since it would wreck my plan. I needed to get all of us to safety and off of this dangerous island!

"It doesn't matter why" I replied in frustration. "The fact is we're all in danger here and need to leave!" Pikachu shook his head.

"We can't leave right now, Piplup" he stated. "You know that." I felt myself quickly growing frustrated with him not believing me. We were in real trouble! I stomped my foot hard, and the sand below scattered around it.

"Why not?" I demanded angrily, glaring at him. He sighed.

"Two reasons" Pikachu said. First off, we have no way off this island right now. Remember, we got here by boat, and Jervis isn't coming back until later this afternoon." He looked up in the sky. "So, we have at least several hours until then." He looked back down at me. "Secondly, and more importantly, our trainers want to explore the island." He placed his paws on his hips. "Our job as their Pokémon is to protect them from danger. So, if they want to explore, we go too and keep them safe. I'm not going to try and stop them." Now I was really angry with him. How dare he not help me!

"You're the de facto leader in our group, and leaders are supposed to protect everyone!" I yelled. "I told you that we're all in serious trouble. Yet you're doing to do nothing because you don't believe me! How is that being a leader?!" Pikachu glared back at me.

"Don't think for a second I don't care about keeping everyone safe!" he growled at me. "This has nothing to do with whether or not I believe you. So relax Piplup."

"Me relax?" I snorted sarcastically. "How are you not relaxed after your time with Buneary?" His eyes narrowed and he growled at me. His cheeks sparked with electricity, a clear warning for me to be quiet.

Like that would ever happen.

"Did you not get enough of her fluffy tail?"

I yelled as Pikachu hit me with a powerful Thunderbolt. Electricity flowed freely through my body, thanks to my water typing. My nerves were on fire from the strength of his attack.

"OKAY I'M SORRY!" I yelled in pain. He stopped his attack and I immediately collapsed, grey smoke rising around me.

"Keep your beak shut about us" he growled.

"Okay okay I will!" I whimpered. I did NOT want to be electrocuted again. Pikachu glared at me.

"Not. A. Word." he growled in warning. He started walking back to the others.

"Be careful Pikachu. We are not welcome here" I reminded him. He nodded and left me as he headed back.

I let out a long sigh and reassessed the situation. We were stuck on an island with a bunch of huge Pokémon. Those Pokémon want me dead. None of our trainers could know about the danger we were in. And I had to pretend like nothing changed between me and Oshawott.

Add in the untimely paralysis I kept suffering, and this day was going from bad to worse.
