Hey everyone. I just wanted to say sorry for how long it took for this chapter to come how, and for how short it is. Over the past 2-3 weeks I've been going through writer's block and was just overall busy. I hope you all enjoy this chapter and look forward to chapter 28! Have fun now.

Chapter 27: The End of an Adventure.

"Starting from this day on, Anastasius, you now belong to me."

Once I said that, I decided to let go of Anastasius's face so I can finally stand up after the hard fought win.

"I… Lost..? There's no way I lost like that. Especially after using my secret technique like that." Anastasius mumbled.

I looked down at Anas before extending out a hand for him to use as support, for whenever he gets up anyways. If I was able to hear him correctly it looks like he'll be thinking about this duel for a while. Would have never expected him to act like this after losing anyways. I can only imagine what he is feeling right now actually. It could go something along the lines of "You son of a bitch! I'll fucking kill you!" or "Just you wait Everett Greyrat. When you're least expecting it, I'll slaughter everyone close to you. Eleanor, Kyra, and your whole entire family. Hell, even your best friend Leo! So what if he's close with Victoria.", and so on.

"What is wrong with you Eve! How could you just force him to join our camp like that, knowing how much he cares about the Death God Knight Sieghart Saladin!" Leo yelled.

Eleanor finished healing Anas and I soon after this. Once she was done healing us, I immediately made my way to Leo with my hands balled up into a fist. Just who the hell does he think he is? Trying to tell me what I can or can not do. If he hadn't fallen for Victoria, he'd still be the same since he wouldn't be head over heels for someone. He'd still listen to what I had to say and wouldn't have a single issue with it. Maybe if I threw a couple of punches at him, he'll snap out of it.

"Just shut the hell up Leo-"

I was then cut off by a spell that caused me to have a migraine that was unbearable. I tried to look at Victoria, but could hardly do it at all because of the pain I was in. First Leo and now Victoria? Was what I did really that bad?

"Oh come on! Can you go a single day without casting this god forsaken spell Victoria!?" I yelled. It really was getting annoying at this point.

While I was down on the ground, the spell was suddenly released. By the time I had looked up Anastasius was grabbing Victoria's hand. It looked like he was begging her to let go of the spell. Hell, he even had Leo scared to approach him which is a surprise since he usually stands up towards anyone. It doesn't matter if you're strong or weak. Leo White is someone who'll stand up for the people he loves dearly. Which is why this whole incident is a pain for me.

"Vicky, leave Everett alone." Anas asked calmly, almost as if he had ignored what had just happened.

Victoria turned her head with pure hatred in her eyes. It was almost like she wanted to kill me for what I did to Anas and for what I was going to do with Leo.

"Why should I leave him alone Brother! Why haven't you attempted to take his life yet with a sneak attack!" She yelled.

"Why isn't the Anastasius I know standing up for himself… Even when you were defeated in the past you never just 'gave up' in the face of defeat."

She was going to punch Anas in the face but she stopped as soon as her fist was in front of his nose. Her knees gave up on her and she fell onto the ground. She let out a cry of pain and sorrow, before finally grabbing onto his pants legs. She slowly looked up to him with her long blue hair moving away from her face, revealing her cursed eye to everyone. The tears hadn't stopped falling yet so she decided to make one last plea to hurry up and stop everyone from worrying about her. Especially Leo.

"P-Please Anastasius. My caring brother. Think about what this means..!" She cried out.

Anas just stood there for about ten seconds before looking down at Victoria.

"Victoria." He got down on one knee and held Vicky's face with his hands, "I know just how much you care about me, I really do. However, after being defeated by Everett I feel as if he had opened my eyes to something new… I don't really know how to explain it Sister, but there is a lot of potential in Everett Greyrat. If you don't respect or like the decision I'm going to make, feel free to stay here with Master Saladin and Master Pax. Just know that I will most likely end up leaving with No Name as a great comrade and friend of Everett."

Leo was shocked at Anas' response to Vicky, but he didn't retaliate against what he said. It looked like he just came to terms about Anas joining us and with Victoria's decision. El just kept her usual resting face, and I had a big huge grin on my face. It makes me so proud whenever someone close to me, or someone I admire chooses me for anything.

Victoria wiped away the tears that were falling down her face and tried her best to get back onto her feet. Once she was balanced, she looked Anas in the eyes and gave him an unfamiliar bow.

"I'll respect your decision to stay with Everett, Anastasius, but I don't know if I can trust him with your life just yet. Even though I think it's dumb, I'll be tagging along with you so I can see how you are doing, and to be with Leo white of course. Do keep in mind though that I won't just open up to Everett Greyrat like you." She stood up straight and started to laugh while Anas had a look of disgust on his face. It looks like he hasn't warmed up to Victoria falling for Leo yet.

"Well then! Shall we all get back to the inn so we can get ready for our journey back to Ranoa?"

Everyone nodded. I wonder how long it'll take for Victoria to at least feel comfortable being alone with me, or being on a mission alone with me. It does make sense why she doesn't like me though. I guess I can thank Leo for her not cursing me to death. Besides that small issue though, everything sounds great except I forgot one important detail. Anas and Vicky have to pack up and inform Uncle Sieg that they are coming with us. They also might have to inform Uncle Sieg that Anastasius lost to me in a duel, and the fact that he now has to follow me instead… I can only pray that it turns out well for them.

"We'll meet you guys at the gates tomorrow morning alright? We still have to go pack and inform Master Saladin that we'll be leaving with you lot. That is alright of course, right Evie?"

I looked at Anas with an embarrassed look on my face, "W-Where did you hear that nickname Anastasius! Answer me right now!"

He laughed for a little bit before responding, "I heard it from one of your girlfriends and from good old Leo White. It is fine if I call you that now right?"

"Of course you can, Anas. I wouldn't have made you mine if you couldn't call me that." I let out a sigh of relief

Of course, I felt a chill run through my spine as I said that. Both Kyra and Eleanor hate whenever I say something like that to my close guy friends… I wonder why exactly, but it doesn't matter that much to me. Anyways, Anas and Victoria made their way to Uncle Sieg so they could inform them of their leave and the rest of us made our way back to the inn.

Everyone in No Name got their equipment and such ready for our departure, and Big Sis Adela was all packed up so she could get ready for travel. The time we had in King Dragon Kingdom will definitely be something to remember, especially since I gained an equal on this amazing journey. Leo might have found the love of his life, Eleanor got closer with Adela, Kath and Art were basically on vacation while they were here, and Kyra was able to hang out with Adela too. I guess we could call this whole thing a big success for No Name since we got our reward and two new members.

Looks like Anastasisus and Victoria will be hanging out with El for most of the time though since well… the rest of us in No Name are in our 5th year at the Magic University. They won't do anything too crazy though so there's nothing to worry about. I just can't wait to tell Grandpa Rudy about this! Especially us running into Uncle Sieghart!
