The day after the snowball fight all of No Name received a pretty cool summons letter from mother and father back in Asura. It looks like they plan on giving us our reward for protecting Big Sis Adele. Though I guess it's not too crazy either since they are the King and Queen of a kingdom. It's not like they can leave whenever they want after all so we might as well go and visit them.
I'm currently at the Greyrat Manor getting my stuff ready for our trip to Asura. Kyra is surprisingly helping me pack my bag. The rest of No Name was having a nice time saying goodbyes to Grandpa and the Grandmas, while Kyra and I could possibly have some fun for a short amount of time… but if we were going to do something like that, I'm afraid that someone would hear us. So for the time being I can wait on having my fantasies fulfilled by my loving Kyra!
"You know Eve… It really has been a while since you returned back home right? Why aren't you more excited like 'I'm going to cry the second I see mother! Father is going to be so proud of my achievements!' or something more like whenever you fanboy over Master Orsted..?"
I guess I can somewhat understand where Kyra is coming from. As of right now I'm only grinning like an idiot. I just don't see a reason to fanboy over returning home just so I can get a special medal for escorting my big sister somewhere. Who knows though, that might just be a me thing. This whole trip will take like 3 days maybe or 4 depending on how much time mother and father would love to spend with Kath and I. Hopefully they won't be too harsh on Anastasius and Victoria considering the fact that they are originally from KDK and not Asura. They are still the king and queen of a whole kingdom of course.
"Hey Kyra, I've been thinking about something lately. Does your mom know about Eleanor?" I asked her.
"No… Not in the sense like she knows that Eleanor is my best friend/basically girlfriend type of thing. All she knows is that El is a teammate of ours. She definitely knows about us and thinks it's only the two of us dating right now."
I rested my hand on my chin while I looked down on the floor to think about something. What if this was a time to let Kyra's mom, a big time Millis Follower, know about the little relationship that the three of us have going on right now? Would she really lose her shit or not? Either way I decided to sit up straight and look at my beautiful black haired goddess right in the eyes.
"So I was thinking that maybe we can finally tell her all about how close we are with Eleanor and such now, while leaving out all of the talk about our sexy times of course."
I chuckled a little bit before Kyra practically sent me flying out of the window. Luckily Titus was there to catch me somehow, just how the hell can that wyvern know when to show up? Can he read my mind or something? I'm glad that he was there to save me from getting injured.
I got back onto my feet and yelled up to the window, "At least throw my bags down here if you're going to send me flying out the window Kyra!", and of course, my bag magically appeared in front of me completely closed shut. Maybe I did end up picking the right girl to become my future wife along with Ellie. After this whole entire lover's quarrel though I gathered all of No Name in front of the manor with two carriages ready.
Anastasius, Leo, Victoria, and Kyra were on one carriage and Eleanor, Arthur, Kathlyn, and I were on the other carriage. This is how we were going to travel throughout the whole trip in the case we were going to run into a high class monster in the middle of the trip or some other things. The only issue about this whole entire trip to Asura is the fact that there won't be any time for some "playful" fighting with my girls unless it's late at night and everyone is completely asleep.
We finally left Grandpa's manor and made our way down to Asura. The route we were taking was a very difficult and long path though, there was a chance of monsters appearing. The carriages were able to move perfectly fine throughout the day and we were able to get the first night of travel out of the way with no difficulties. Everything was cool and all until we finally made it to the Red Dragon Upper Jaw mountain range. It was then at this point where everything would start to change. For the worst too.
The start of our 2nd day was nothing too hard. We all ate some food we brought at our temporary campfire and got ready to set off. When we did leave though, we had a feeling that there were at least three people looking at us, so we got into our carriages cautiously. The minute we got ready to take off we were stopped by exactly three people in very unique clothing and such, it was clear that they were bandits who were on a level that was equal or greater to ours in a way.
"What the hell? Who are these people?!" Anas yelled from the front of the carriage.
"Anas why are we stopped in the middle of the road?" Ellie asked as she got out, only to hear her shocked about something.
I was still in my carriage until it was sent flying into the air by some type of wind magic or something. Either way it randomly happened out of nowhere. I quickly conjured an earth pillar for Kath, Art, and I to land on so we would fall to our deaths, but wow the fall was still rough. Shortly after we landed, I heard a big explosion from under us, which caused the pillar to fall. It wasn't until then though that I ended up in the one and only pink haired idiot's arms.
Anastasius gave me an awkward smirk before I poked him in the eyes and landed on my own feet. It wasn't until then I was finally standing in front of what looked like the strongest bandit out of the three. The 2nd strongest was in front of Anas, Art, Kath. The 3rd strongest was standing in front of the last of No Name. It was quite evident that this fight between No Name and these mysterious bandits could only go one of two ways as of right now.
We defeat them without breaking a sweat, we defeat most of them but one of the bandits escape, we all lose miserably and half the team is killed, we both exhaust ourselves to the point where no one can fight anymore, or We defeat them all but someone dies on No Name's team. It was at this point though where I really wished that I knew the outcome of how this whole incident would take place since everything that happens after this moment is never going to be the same as before.
"Alright Red Lion, let's get this bloodbath over with!" The mysterious bandit yelled while pulling out a sword which looked like a cursed sword in some way shape and form.
