Eir woke up with a start. She always had visions of death in her sleep with her being the Princess of the Realm of the Dead, however, the vision she had was terrifying for her... someone would end up in a tragic way in the Battle of the Eagle and Lion. She was too scared to go back to sleep for she could get the vision again. She wished the vision wasn't waiting in her sleep.

It is the 27th day of the Wyvern Moon. Everyone got ready for the battle of the Eagle and Lion.

Kiran would lead the Golden Deer, Byleth would lead the Black Eagles and Beles would lead the Blue Lions.

Sharena noticed that The Blue Lions were missing two students.

"Alfonse?" She called her brother. "Where are-?"

"Annette was too ill to continue studying." The Askran Prince answered his sister's question before she could finish. "And Ferdinand was deemed mentally unstable. These are Valeria's words."

Valeria was too focused on polishing her dagger. She sighed as she sheated it.

Suddenly, the horns blared, meaning it was time for the Battle of the Eagle and Lion to start.

The Black Eagles, Blue Lions and Golden Deer charged to battle.

The only one who stood still was Flayn. She was sensing something wrong coming to Gronder Field.

"Get the Golden Deer!" Felix snarled at his soldiers.

"Don't be too brash, Felix!" Ingrid commanded.

Fjorm and Eir had split up. Fjorm focused on fighting Emile while Eir fought Lorenz.

Alfonse saw how unhinged Dimitri turned everytime he fought. It was like the Blue Lion leader was looking for Blood, but he couldn't be the Whirlwind Emperor, could he?

Suddenly, before the first elimination was even shown, everything stopped. Shivers went down Eir's spine.

"What is going on?!" Rhea demanded from the top of a hill.

Drew saw something aiming at his sister and ran to protect her.

"Elizabeth!!!" He screamed.

Before Elizabeth could react or say anything, she was pushed away by her brother.

"Brother?" She stood up. "What are you-?"

She stopped speaking as she saw that Drew had taken a strange bullet for her.

Drew was trying to keep his balance, but the pain wasn't letting him.

"Eliza...beth..." He struggled to speak. "Run..."

Byleth tried to use Divine Pulse, but something wasn't letting him.

"What?!" The Professor thought to himself. "Why can't I use Sothis' power?!"

Kiran couldn't use Divine Pulse either.

Drew collapsed to the ground as the pain got the best of him.

"Drew?!" Odesia called. "Are you ok?!"

"Drew!!" Lucretia cried.

"Can you hear us?!" Dorothea shrieked.

Soon, Drew's screams turned to growls and then his body started shaking. His hands were transforming to claws and strange wings were growing out of his back. His eyes had changed from red to an obsidian purple and his skin turned black. He was then surrounded by black aura as he transformed.

Everyone could only stare in fear as Drew Salomon had transformed into a new Species of Demonic Beasts... an Obsidian Devil...

"What is that?!" Bernadetta cried.

"I...I don't know..." Hilda shook her head.

Elizabeth could only watch in silent anguish as her beloved twin brother transformed into a beast.

"Brother..." She muttered.

The beast then used the opportunity to eacape, however, some knights of Seiros appeared and attempted to corner it. The monster roared and unleashed some magical attack.

"Wait!!" Elizabeth ran to her brother. "Don't hurt him!!"

The Knights of Seiros were surprised by Elizabeth defending the monster.

"What is wrong with you, kid?!" One of the knights shouted.

"That's Drew!" The red haired Golden Deer Student shouted. "That's my brother!"

Before anyone could reply, some magical chains appear and surround the beast Elizabeth calls Drew.

"What the?!" One Knight of Seiros gasped. "Where did they come from?!"

Alfonse looked at the sky and saw some storm clouds and sensed the worst... Thórr is here.

The War Goddess lands on the ground, next to the beast.

"Well well well." She said, surprised by the turn of events. "This was not what I wanted."

"Thorr!" Sharena hissed. "What do you want?! Did you do this to Drew?!"

"I did not." Thórr shook her head and Alfonse could tell she was honest. "You know I wish to test Humanity's strenght. However, I do not wish for this to happen. I may be working with the Whirlwind Emperor, but our goals are different."

"What are you-?!" Veronica growled.

"You wish to turn Drew back, right?" The teal haired goddess huffed. "Curing someone from matamporhing to a Demonic Beast is hard. So I will give you the offer."

"Are you sure this is not a trap?" Claude tilted his head.

"I promise you it will not be a trap." Thórr nodded. "I should make sure the Whirlwind Emperor should not get Prince Alfonse if I were you... he will never stop."

Thórr disappeared and 'Drew' was taken to the Monastery.

"Elizabeth..." Ashe went to the kindhearted redhead. "I'm sorry you had to endure this..."

"It's not your fault, Ashe..." Elizabeth sighed. "My brother... I..."

She broke down in tears and the silver haired Blue Lion student comforted her.

"Meatmorphosis into a Demonic Beast?" Eir shivered. "This world... is in chaos..."

"What are you talking about, Princess Eir?" Peony asked.

"The Whirlwind Emperor..." The pale girl shook. "Is trying to change this world for the worse... this act... must be a war declaration..."

"Wait a minute." Veronica shook her head. "We don't even belong here. Why are we dragged into this?"

"We apologize if you have to fight our battles..." Edelgard said. "But we must not falter. Let's go back to the monastery. We will have to tell the Salomon family about what happened to their son."

"Are you out of your mind?!" Felix growled. "They won't even stand the chance that their son is a monster!"

"Fernando has a point." Rene said as she approached them. "However, Drew isn't the first person who was turned into an Obsidian Devil."

"What's an Obsidian Devil?" Caspar asked.

"Obsidian Devils are Demonic Beasts who were once Humans." Rene answered. "You may be asking, why wasn't Lonato an Obsidian Devil? Well... Lonato was cursed by a fake Crest Stone. That bullet that hit Dexter is different from that Fake Crest Stone."

"You seem to know about this, Rene." Linhardt crossed his arms. "And you said Drew isn't the first one. Who else got turned into an Obsidian Devil?"

Rene took a depp breath and mentioned two names.

"Glenn Lancelot Fraldarius and Alice Crystal Gloucester."
