More storybuilding for the Order of Fodlan. Here, there will be a reference of one of the previous chapters.
The trip back to Garreg Mach was very quiet... except for Elizabeth's soft sobs. Lucretia tried to comfort her to no avail. Lorenz wasn't even his boastful self, he always thought his ancestor Alice was killed by a Kingdom Soldier during the Crescent Moon war.
Valeria saw how upset Felix was. His brother, Glenn, was believed to be a casualty in the Tragedy that almost took his Father's life. Now the truth about Glenn was revealed.
Obsidian Devils... Alfonse thought Obsidian Devils were extinct when he was doing some research the week after Flayn and Linhardt's kidnapping... but Drew was transformed into one.
The Askran Prince hated being wrong. It happened to him three times before he arrived to Fodlan...
The first time when he, Sharena and Anna were doing the Rite of Shadows in order to contact Zacharias, but it was revealed that Bruno killed Zacharias, but it took Alfonse some time to connect the two dots and reveal that Bruno is Zacharias.
The second time was when they believed they defeated Surtr at Muspell, but their hopes were dashed when the Rite of Flames brought the tyrant king back to life.
The third time... it hurts him the most... it was during the first battle against Hel. He had ignored his father's warning, fought Hel and was hit by a curse in which he would die in nine days. He went into a two week coma, with Kiran and Sharena never leaving his side. Just as Hel was about to strike him, Gustav had saved him at the cost of his own life.
His thoughts were interrupted when Ingrid broke the silence.
"We have arrived." She said.
When they returned to Garreg Mach, every other student was concerned about Drew. They would ask where he was, but no one got an answer from Rhea or Elizabeth.
Drew's room remained locked after what happened. They didn't have the courage to leave the room vacant. The only person who would visit the empty room was Elizabeth since before his transformation, Drew gave her a copy of his keys.
A knife was even placed on his desk as a "memorial". The church was coming to terms with the lie that Drew had been killed by Thórr.
Elizabeth got a letter from her mother and father. They expressed concerned about their only living child and wished for her to live a healthy life.
Valeria went to Ashe's room since she believed that Drew's Transformation would remind Ashe of the mission with Lonato, when the Minor Lord transformed into a Demonic Beast.
"Val..." Ashe had opened the door. "You look... upset... is it Lonato?"
"Yes..." The green haired student sighed. "Lonato was transformed into a Demonic Beast via a fake Crest Stone... but Drew turning into an Obsidian Devil... is something else."
"Lonato and Drew did not deserve this..." Ashe looked down. "Lonato would do anything for his people... and Drew would do anything for his family..."
"Yeah..." Valeria nodded. "Lonato was turned against his will while Drew saw his sister was in danger... This must be hard... for you and Elizabeth..."
"Indeed..." The silver haired boy looked at his friend. "It is..."
At the start of the Red Wolf Moon, Kiran was on their way to the library when they ran into Byleth.
"Summoner." Byleth said. "I was thinking about Drew lately... he is your student, yet I failed to save him."
"I tried to save him too." Kiran nodded. "But... something must have stopped me."
Byleth would sense something similar to him. The power to turn back time.
"Could it be... that they have the Power of Sothis as well?" He thought to himself.
Meanwhille, Aster kept avoiding eye contact with Neumi since she believes fate would turn them against each other.
Neumi didn't mind. Students would call her strange behind her back, but she still never bothered. However, she would glare at Aster and call her a "traitor".
Aster knew the people who turned Drew into an other, gave Dimitri, Annette and Sylvain their white hair and made them the people they are. But she knew she had to hide it until the time came.
Rene looked around the Monastery in worry.
"Rene, dear." Constance got her attention. "Is something the matter?"
"Ah. Constance." The Light blue and lime green haired girl turned to her blond and purple haired friend. "Sorry, Constance. I haven't heard of Aelfric ever since last month."
"You may be right." The noblegirl nodded. "Aelfric said he had to go investigate some matters regarding the Gloucester-Ordelia revolution, but he hasn't returned."
"And no one has seen Tomas the Librarian ever since yesterday either." Rene added.
"Tomas and Elfie have been busy lately." Hapi added. "Astra has been suspecting something."
"What makes you say that, Hapi?" Constance asked.
Before the redhead could reply, Sharena ran to them.
"Where's Aster?!" She almost screamed as she was panicking.
"Whoa, Cherry." Hapi held out her arms. "Calm down. Is something the matter?"
Sharena couldn't calm down as she tried to speak.
"The Summoner!" She managed to find her words. "Kiran's sick!"
