Hi everybody! I have had several request that I continue my story Roles Reversed and I am working on the second chapter now but I thought I would go ahead and publish this to see what you all think. I am a college student though and school has been kinda crazy lately so please don't hate me if it takes me a while to update.
Also I haven't yet decided who I want to pair Lucy with in this story so please let me know who you think she should be with. The only person that's a no is Zen because I want them to have a sibling-like bond.
Bixlow grinned as he guided his family to Fairy Tail for the first time. He had won a bet against Erza a while back and the main four members of Team Natsu would be performing tonight so it would be a good, albeit crazy, night to bring his family by. They arrive at the guild and Bixlow leads them to a table near the stage where they would have a good view. Now that Bixlow is there the rest of the Thunder God Tribe joined them on the first floor and waited for the show to start.
In the back Team Natsu was getting ready to go on stage. Bixlow had never said what song they had to perform so they decided to do the set they had done when they went undercover at the strip club. Natsu and Gray were dressed in black leather pants and vests with leather chokers and black lace-up boots. Natsu of course still wore his scarf. Lucy and Erza both wore black leather shorts and a bikini top that went nicely with their skin tone. Lucy wearing a deep midnight blue with gold glitter and Erza wore a scarlet red that matched her hair. Erza had her hair pulled back in a high ponytail leaving a couple of strands that were curled to frame her face and Lucy's hair was left down and curled as well. Both women were wearing 5-inch black stilettos. They all were also covered in body glitter, Natsu and Lucy in gold while Erza and Gray are in silver. All in all, they look every bit the strippers they were pretending to be for this performance. They heard Mira finish getting everything ready before grinning and heading to their spots where they would be lifted onto the stage. They were gonna shock everyone.
The music started and they were lifted onto the stage. One glance across the audience at the very start and everyone was either shocked or amused or both considering the song was I Just Had Sex by The Lonely Island featuring Akon. Natsu and Gray kept switching between dominating the girls and submitting to them while Lucy and Erza played along with whatever the other two did and looked as sexy as possible. Needless to say the whole audience was stunned, even the Boscans though that was more because they were in Fiore not Bosco. Smirking at the stunned silent audience Lucy nodded to Erza and she exited the stage while getting their next performances ready. In the meantime though Lucy, Natsu, and Gray were going to perform another song; 3 Sum by Mark Dohner. The music started and Lucy took charge lip syncing all the lyrics. The three did their own thing until Lucy lip sanc the words "maybe we could have a threesome" in which case Lucy pulled both Natsu and Gray to her, and wrapping her arms around Gray's neck with Natsu's hands on her hips she danced between them.
The song ended and Fairy Tail was still in shock. Well, it was more like they came out of it only to go right back into it not expecting their precious light to do something so provocative and sensual with her teammates and for the two boys to actually look like they knew what they were doing. Last time they had checked the only one on Team Natsu who could dance was Lucy. The whole guild waited with bated breath to see what would happen next, and were pleasantly surprised to watch Erza walk back onto the stage and hand Lucy a mic after informing Mira when to cue the music. The lights went completely dark before they heard Lucy start to sing, her voice more soulful than they imagined it would have been.
Lucy started with the lyrics to Show Me How You Burlesque by Christina Aguilera and made her way onto the closest table. The music started and a spot light fell on her as she danced. She noticed that she had ended up at the table with Bixlow and his family, recognition flashed in her eyes when she saw just who they were but she didn't stop. When Erza started providing some back up vocals she got a spotlight as well. Unsurprisingly she had ended up on the table Jellal and Crime Sorciere were sitting at. It wasn't until Lucy sang "here come the boys you gotta show a little more" that Natsu and Gray got they're spotlights, both on random tables. They performed an obviously well choreographed routine, Lucy's being not quite as extensive considering she was also singing.
The song ended and Lucy was about to jump into the next one when the doors burst open. Everyone was quick to jump up, ready for a fight when they realized it was Queen Hisui.
"Lucy! ...You have to go… Junelle… documents… paperwork"
"Whoa Hisui. Easy. Take a minute and catch your breath alright. So Junelle is on his way and our case isn't ready so we can't just march him to the courthouse."
Hisui nodded her head.
"Okay this is what we are going to do. I want you to go upstairs so he doesn't see you I will message Arcadios and let him know where you are considering he isn't already here I assume you slipped by him. I'm not hiding but I do have a backup plan I just need a few things which won't be too hard to get. Now go on I assume I don't have long to get ready."
Hisui nodded and went upstairs, the Boscan ambassadors watching intrigued by which Lucy and the Queen behaved.
Lucy turned around and took a deep breath before giving orders.
"Virgo I need different performance clothes, preferably jean shorts and some sort of top that will show some cleavage but not as much as he wants. Capricorn I need those documents ready and I need you to run things through with Freed again. Freed I hope you are ready. Loke you're my bodyguard. Cancer hair and makeup. I need this glitter gone. Aries a privacy wall if you can please. We have 3 minutes."
Using her magic was risking considering who Lucy now knew to be in the room but it was the only way she could change fast enough.
While getting herself ready she was mentally communicating with Cobra.
"Erik I need your help too since you're here. One of Bixlow's brothers is a mindbender but he can't hear me so I need you to go to them and help me out. I need you to ask Bixy to trust me. Tell him I know my magic is making things hard for Zen but I have a plan for that too. Also, once Junelle arrives I need you to listen to his plans. I have a feeling he will likely try to drug me so when I give you the signal I need you to be prepared with the antidote."
The last part she heard a shot from Cobra knowing he was about to protest and spill the beans she decided to call out to him verbally.
"Erik don't make a scene. Just be ready."
"Hell no Nightshade. No way am I about to let you knowingly get drugged."
"Erik be ready with the antidote or don't that's up to you but even you can't stop this and it will be worse if you make a scene and I actually have to go with him."
"Fine Nightshade but don't think I'm happy about this. Yo Christmas Eyes, Nightshade said she knows Angel boy is struggling with the amount of magic she is putting out but to trust her. Also it's about to get worse so don't let him touch her, be ready to control him if you have to but if he touches her with the amount of magic she will be putting out she won't be in control anymore."
Lucy rolled her eyes but smiled when she heard a "Sure thing Cosplayer" come from the other side of her privacy barrier.
Lucy stepped out from behind the wool and locked eyes with Freed, making her way to him signing 'You ready?' when the doors opened to show a short fat old man.
"Ahh. Lady Lucy why do you degrade yourself by surrounding yourself with this mage filth."
"Duke Junelle. To what do Lady Lucy and I owe the pleasure?"
"I am here to make good on the marriage arrangement her father and I made."
"Ahh I see. Well I regret to inform you that your acceptance is not valid until the Justines either accept or decline the one that was sent to them offering my hand to Lord Freed here."
"Nonsense. I have accepted and I accepted years ago. You will come with me one way or another."
The duke grabbed Lucy's arm but she didn't move.
"Duke Junelle. Please remove your hand from my arm and refrain from touching me in the future. Also I will not be going anywhere with you."
Lucy handed him the folder of documents that Capricorn had prepared.
"In this folder you will find documentation stating that since I am over 16 any new marriage arrangements have to be signed by myself not by my father. You will also find documentation showing that since Lord Freed Justine is closer to me in age and his marriage request was sent before yours he has first pick. Any arrangements made after his are left pending even if the person requested accepted the offer until the Justines either accept or decline the arrangement. Neither of which has been done meaning that all marriage agreements my father made are still null."
Seeing that she was right the Duke was not pleased and attempted to grab her arm again but she side stepped and placed her arm in Freed's so he could lead her away. Before she could completely walk away though she turned back to the Duke.
"Oh and Junelle. I'll be seeing you in court."
Lucy grinned as a flustered Duke Junelle stormed out of the guild. As soon as he was out of sight though she swayed and held onto Freed even more for support.
"Now would be a good time for that antidote Erik."
"Don't get your panties in a twist Nightshade I'm coming."
As soon as he was in reach Cobra took Lucy from Freed's arms and sat down her down at the closest table - which just so happened to be the one with all the Boscans - and bit into her arm where the Duke had injected her with his rings. When he pulled back he looked at her slightly amused since she tipped over at some point and was using the sinful looking Boscan with streaks of red in his hair to keep herself semi-upright.
"Alright Nightshade. Give yourself a minute before enacting the rest of your plans. You'll just get more dizzy if you try to do anything right this second."
Lucy closed her eyes and placed her hand on her head before tanking Cobra. With her eyes still closed, she acknowledged the others at the table.
"Hello Ambassador Pradesh. It's lovely seeing you again. I don't know if you remember me but I used to play with Farron and Zen before Auntie Ganier and my mom died. Anyway I'd love to meet the rest of you and whoever I am currently using as support I apologize for this. I have something I need to do first now that the world has stopped spinning though so Bixy trust me a little while longer, though you might want to watch what's about to happen."
With that Lucy opened her eyes and got up, walking outside leaving several people to catch up to her and even more to come out when they felt her magic signature increase at an alarming rate creating a pressure at which they didn't realize she had enough magic to create.
"Hey Stache Face get your ass down here. You need to fix this now because if I have to find my way up there it's not gonna be pretty."
The magic pressure Lucy was emitting kept growing and a few of the Fairies were now struggling to stay standing.
Wouldn't you know it worked though because not too long later The Spirit King was freezing time and the entirety of Fairy Tail and the Pradesh family were left staring in shock at what was happening.
"Old Friend."
"Stache Face remove the compulsion. Now."
"Old Friend, Cassiopeia assures me that the compulsion is needed to maintain balance."
"Cassiopeia has never done anything that didn't benefit herself. The compulsion does not create balance it creates slaves."
"This may be true but without a second archangel I cannot be sure that the balance will not change."
"Then make me one. As long as the compulsion is lifted I can handle that."
"Even if it means you would no longer be a celestial mage."
Lucy closed her eyes and took a deep breath before glancing at Loke then returning her gaze to the King.
"Yes. I am the Starbringer. That is a title you gifted me with. It means that I protect the heavens and the mages that are of it. Zen is just as much a child of the heavens as I am and it is my duty to protect him. We are not soulmates, even so I refuse to let us accidentally bond. If protecting Zen from becoming a slave to his magic means I have to give up my magic I will. I just ask that my keys be gifted to Yukino instead of being scattered."
The King smiled while the Pradesh family stared at her in shock and awe.
"That is what I like to hear. There is a way you can be both. I will make you my daughter and you will rightfully be Princess of the Stars as well as the Starbringer. Do you accept?"
"Yes."
The King nodded and sliced both his and Lucy's hands before placing them together. There was a burst of power and a bright light. The next thing everyone knew though was that Lucy was floating in the air her hair flowing in waves down her back, a tiara on her head, a blue dress that looked like it was made of the cosmos, a star on her forehead, and most noticeable golden wings. She was beautiful.
"It is done. We will talk later about what this all entails. You are already running on reserves and still tired from fighting the drugs. I'm proud of you as are all of your spirits Daughter of mine."
With that the King disappeared and time resumed. Lucy floated back down to the ground but as soon as she was standing on her own two feet - in her previous clothes - she collapsed.
