"That was the last time any of us saw her." Jenny explained with her head lowered. "We only saw her on cat food commercials and on food bags and cans."
"How badly was Munk hurt?" Demeter asked
"He only had one bad injury." Jenny stated, looking up at the gold queen. "There was a huge gash in his neck."
"Macavity ripped his throat out?" Demeter questioned.
"Yes, it took Munk a little over a month to completely heal." Jenny explained.
"How long ago was this?" Demeter asked, lowering her head. She could not believe that this story was true.
"Grizabella left the tribe and was gone for twelve years."
"I understand now," Demeter stated, still taking in all the things that the Gumbie cat told her. "I now understand the rumors better. Thanks Jenny."
"You're welcome Dem." Jenny replied as the young queen left to find her red friend to tell her of what she learned.
