Friday 2nd March 2012
80 Wakefield Road, Annadale
Staten Island, New York
1800 Hours

That was song that was playing on Natalia's phone, it played whilst Joe and Natalia made out on the couch of Antonio's home, Joe was running his hand through Natalia's silky brown hair, Joe's shirt was unbuttoned, Natalia trying to claw it off his back to reach his vest.
They stopped for a minute so that Joe could help with that, then he took his vest off, Natalia's eyes raked over his chest seeing the patriotism of the American flag on his chest, the Globe and Anchor on his right shoulder as she licked her lips with anticipation.
Joe then noticed her lustful eyes asking, "Like what you see?"
"Joseph Capelli, you're just too hot for my own taste…" Natalia said running her hand along his chest.
Joe smirked before saying, "You're so beautiful…" he lifted up the bottom of her blouse enough to see her red lingerie, as she said, "You like what you see, cowboy?"
"I'm actually tempted, but I don't wanna ruin it…"
"Let's keep it feisty, but it doesn't mean we can have a little bit of fun…" Natalia said. Joe rose an eyebrow as Natalia whispered in his ear, "Just making out, seeing each other's bodies… no sex, no nothing…"
Joe nodded as he laid back brought Natalia down to him as he said, "Sounds like a good idea, though you might wanna pick a few good other places because I'm pretty sure Antonio's gonna kill me if I contaminate his couch…"
"Then he'll have to kill both of us…" Natalia smirked. Joe blue eyes raked over Natalia's sinful smile as he said, "If I die, I'll die happily with you…"
Kissing Natalia once more, he then moved his hand to the back of her neck as he pushed the few strands of her hair to the side.

Whilst they didn't hear the front door open, they then heard somebody shout, "OH, OH, OH! SERIOUSLY?!"
They got off the couch as they saw Antonio, Emily, Hanna, Lena and Spencer covering their eyes in horror.
Sergeant Giuseppe Joseph's eyes were covered as well by Antonio when Emily said, "Seriously, what is about you Capelli's that's so alluring?!"
Hanna chortled, "I'm not surprised, those two are always trying to get under each other's clothes…"
Antonio grimaced as all color left his face, he then replied, "I think I got a visual of Joe's kids doing cheerleading…"
"Great, I get a visual of what my future niece or nephew looks like and my sister happily shoving her tongue down her boyfriend's throat." Lena sarcastically replied.
"Is that a bite mark on both their necks?" Spencer asked.
Antonio frowned at Joe saying, "You contaminate my couch, I'll fertilize your future…"
"You might wanna decontaminate everywhere… I guess?" Joe said with a knowing grin as he and Natalia high-fived each other.
Antonio muttered under his breath as he said, "Animals…" he headed for the garage to find some decontaminating equipment so he could begin 'decontaminating' his furniture. The Sarge followed him to do this.
Emily and Lena laughed as Joe showed off his back revealing fresh red scars, Hanna then smirked, "Kitty got feisty!"

"I HEARD THAT!" Antonio's voice was heard from the garage as Emily, Hanna and Lena laughed out loud. Spencer smirked trying to hold her laughter but it did no good, she laughed as well, her eyes spilled tears over at hearing Antonio's fury.
Joe playfully bowed as he said, "Thank you, thank you very much… you're too kind… you're too kind…"
"I'm surprised you're still alive and he ain't killed you yet…" Natalia smirked. Joe then replied, "Let's not give him food for thought, I'm sure he's planning my demise at this very minute…"
Hearing the phone ring, Joe answered to see his brother Marco calling, "Hey Marco… everythin' okay?"
"How comes I got a call from Antonio saying he wants to borrow Dad's fire axe?" Marco asked. Joe nodded, "Ah, that might be because I may have contaminated his couch with Natalia…"
"Ah, very nice, Antonio's trying to convince me to help him maim you, besides we all know him and 'Lexis are getting cosy together." Marco said with a smirk on his face.
Joe smirked as well saying, "Well, it's such good fun torturing him… sure he'll tell me to get a room and stick to it… then he'll call me an animal…"
Hearing Marco's laughter, he could also hear Jessica's laughter as he said, "Well you have a good day, I gotta go…"

Hearing the phone drop, Joe then laughed as he said, "Well that sounds like Capelli Family Romance Day."
"That's a holiday?" Spencer asked. Joe shook his head, "No, every day's Capelli Family Romance Day."
Spencer then asked, "I'm worried as to what that means?"
"Everybody in the family spends every day being romantic to their partner… besides every day is Bacciarelli Family Romance Day too…" Lena said winking at Hanna.
"Bet it's like that in every family, spending every day being romantic to their partner and giving them all enough love to go around…" Emily said.
"Only in our circle of Families, besides, you're all our family… nobody is being left out of this pack!" Natalia smiled.
Lena nodded and said, "All of us hereby agree, your part of this pack. We're sorta like a family, men are wise guys and we're the wise-women and the molls…"
"A mafia family… all unique in their own way…" Spencer smirked.
"Along those lines, yeah…" Natalia replied.
Joe and Natalia walked out of the house, Joe was once again dressed in his standard clothing of a dress shirt, leather jacket and a pair of slacks.

2100 Hours
By the early evening, Joe had dropped off Natalia at her apartment in Manhattan, he stayed for an hour as he made her dinner too for that fact.
By the time he got to Staten Island, it was only 2130 Hours in the evening. There was a slight traffic on the Brooklyn Bridge, but it was worth the wait for Joe.
When he got to his Grandparents household on Staten Island, he parked the truck and headed straight to the front door, opening it he said, "Hello?!"
"In the Kitchen." He heard his Nonna Vittoria call out.
Joe shed his jacket off as Vittoria smiled and said, "Ciao bambino."
"Ciao, Nonna, how are you? Is Pops here?" Joe asked hugging his grandmother tightly.
"Just in the office, he'll be out in the minute. Is everythin' okay?" Vittoria asked. Joe nodded, "Yeah, I'm okay, I just needed to ask you guys somethin'."
"Does somethin' have a name?" Vittoria asked with a whisper and a knowing smile with her starry blue eyes.
Joe nodded, "Yes actually, do you mind if I ask both you and Pops?"
Marisa smirked with a knowing grin, "Is it about that Natalia girl from the Bakery?"
Joe rolled his eyes as he said, "Seeing as I can't keep a secret from you, it is… I wanted to ask you guys in person…"
Vittoria grinned happily as she said, "Am I hearing what I think I'm hearing?" "That's what I want Pops to guess, so please?" Joe had asked batting his blue eyes at his grandmother.
Vittoria nodded unable to resist her grandson's blue eyes, "Come on then, Bambino."

The pair walked to the office as they saw Joe I and Joe II sitting down, Tommaso was there with them as well.
Joe I looked up and a smile began to grow on his face at seeing his young grandson who had said, "Hey, Joe, what brings you here, tonight?"
"Well, I wanted to ask you all something important and it's kinda tradition to do so in this family… do I have your permission to speak?" Joe asked tensely standing to attention.
The elder patriarchs of the Capelli family noticed Joe's stance and were immediately interested by this, Joe then spoke, "I am to assume that it is common knowledge that I've been dating Natalia Bacciarelli since December, I'm in love with her, I've always been in love with her."
"I've always known in my heart that I've wanted her to meet the people that I hold dear in my heart, because her meeting you guys would make me happy, it's no secret that I loved Claudette, I'll miss her every day, but Natalia helped me to come home when I was overseas, when I was in the darkest period of my life…" Joe continued to say.
He wondered whether to say more, but Joe I was already wearing a smile on his face, Tommaso was also smiling. The entire room smiled as Joe said, "It's about time, kid."
Joe was suddenly confused as he said, "Wait, what?"
"About time to see you bring Natalia to the table, you've been starry-eyed over that girl and I've recognised that look in all of us…" Joe II had said.
Joe I laughed out loud as he said, "Recognised that look in Tommy-boy when he was in the Philippines, he met Jasmine."
"You and Vittoria, my dear brother." Tommaso replied back.
Vittoria smiled back as she went to sit down on Joe's lap before she said, "Children, do I need to put you on a timeout?"
Joe I nodded and smiled, "I want you to be happy, bring your girl over for Sunday Dinner, in fact why don't you bring all of her family to Sunday Dinner…"
"Shouldn't I check with Natalia and Jameson; I mean her sister Lena's more than likely gonna bring her girlfriend with her…" Joe III said. Joe I and Vittoria smiled, "The more, the merrier, besides family is everything, Joe."

Joe nodded as he knew he wouldn't be able to stop his grandparents now, they would more than likely be cooking enough food for two rifle companies by the upcoming Sunday Dinner.
But at this current moment, he was feeling excited, he was happy, he would be inviting his girlfriend over to Sunday Dinner, not to mention bringing Natalia's siblings and their significant others to the Capelli family table.
Staying around for a little while, he talked for a bit with his grandparents. He had left by the time the Capelli family patriarchs called their wives back into the office, it was there that Giuseppe Capelli who was currently away with his brothers in arms as well as Jameson wanted to Video Chat with them.
Turning the video camera on, they answered a video chat message and it revealed Giuseppe up on the screen.
Tommaso then spoke, "Hey, hey, Lieutenant! How's it goin'?!"
"Hey Pops, I'm doin' pretty good, just got back now from an op, just recovering somewhere for now… won't be long till we head back out again…" Giuseppe had said.
Joe I nodded, "Glad to hear you're still in one piece, Lieutenant. How's John doin'?"
"He's doin' fine, he took some bumps and bruises, but he's in top condition, Thomas says we should be ending this soon. Miss you all back home…" Giuseppe had said.
Jasmine smiles sadly before saying, "Missing you too, 'Seppe, promise you'll won't do anything completely stupid…"

Giuseppe laughed before replying, "Don't you worry, Nonna, I'm bringing everybody home, besides, I kinda wanted to ask you all somethin'."
Tommaso then stood to stand by his brother as he asked, "Why, what's goin' on, kid?"
"I kinda wanted to ask 'bout Sunday Dinner, if we ever get home on time, you know I've been datin' a girl… she's real pretty, you met her at Detective's Kimberly and Adam Zelinski's wedding ceremony."
Vittoria smiled, "That young lady named Aria Montgomery, correct?" "That's the one, I wanted to talk to you guys first, because I want her to meet all of you in person… I want her to attend Sunday Dinner with us all, I love her so much, she makes me happy." Giuseppe had said with a smile.
Joe and Tommaso all smiled hearing the same thing that Joe III was talking about earlier. Tommaso smiled hearing about how Giuseppe loved her with every inch of his heart.
Jasmine smiled deeply remembering how both Giuseppe and Aria had been in love together, their interactions with each other was evidence, but it was also the fact that he held her close to him when they had been dancing at Zelinski's wedding ceremony.
Everybody could see how in love they were with each other.

Joe II smiled as he looks at his father whose smile just grew wider, Tommaso's smile grew wider as Tommaso finally said, "Lieutenant, you've got our blessing, invite your girl to Sunday Dinner. We're gonna look forward to meeting her."
"Thank you, Pops, you're not going to regret it, not for a second." Giuseppe said.
Smiling so widely, the elder patriarchs of the Capelli family thought to each other how their family was evidently growing bigger by the second, there was going to be an awful lot of editions to the family dinner table, but what mattered to them was that their family would only grow powerful only through their strength and togetherness.

The idea for this collection of stories is to show how a group of families can be more than singular families, but they are bounded by their love of a city and their country, sharing their experiences as well.
Making it sound like a Mafia family in the process, because of their closeness and loyalty to each other.
