Chapter-5
Part-I
It's evening now and I am sitting on a chair which I created from magic and reading a book about Six Addicts and the history of mankind. It's the 17th book I am reading now to understand what everyone knows about them. Like everyone think that 'Humans are superior race' because Six Addicts saved humans and because Six Addicts 'liked' humans. The first thing that came to my mind after reading this was that how stupid this reasoning is and how fake this is. I am absolutely sure that Six Addicts didn't 'liked' humans . . . after what we have seen humans do on earth, I don't think anybody liked human race. Especially Six Addicts. They hated humans. And about the saving of human race from extinction, I am sure they saved human race from extinction only because they wanted to preserve their remaining humanity. So, by saving humans Six Addicts must have thought that they are still human and that they are still good by saving humans.
And just as I was about to think in deep about the matters I read in these seventeen books, I heard a knock on door interrupting my thoughts.
*knock *knock
"This is your humble servant." a voice which belongs to a woman came from other side of the door.
"Come in" I replied while closing the book in my hand with thup noise.
One of the Six Miko Princesses entered through door and kneeled in front of the chair Jagrath was sitting on.
"Your Majesty, Cardinals have prepared the artifacts you desired to see. Cardinals wish to know when will your majesty wishes to see them?"
"HO! They prepared them this early . . . They prepared it way before the time they asked. They ask a week of time but they prepared it in a day . . . Hmmm! It seems cardinals were expecting something to happen . . . HUH . . . I wonder what it was . . . well, never mind that now, Miss … uhhh Princesses?, Unfortunately, I have something to do before I see the artifacts cardinals have prepared. And also it seems I have to delay our mock battle by a week . . . please tell cardinals that I will see those artifact after a week at planned date and also that I am delaying the mock battle till then. and so the mock battle will happen a week later and at the date on which I will see the artifacts I asked to see . . . I hope you all don't mind me delaying our mock battle."
"I understand, your majesty. And I am sure that the capable warrior and capable mages will not mind it."
"Hmmm . . . Ah! While you are at it, tell cardinals that I wish to see the tournament."
"Don't look so shocked. I just have better hearing than humans and because of that, I can hear people chatting in tavern even from this room . . . and as the topic of some tournament appeared a lot in their chit-chat. It has piqued my interest. And as of things right now within nations. I think we might need these potential warriors. After all, a war between nations can last a year or even more than that and that even not taking in concentration that war might take a year or two to 'fully' start. So, I think we might find some talent in those kids. Don't you think so? . . . miss uh..?"
"It's Cateline Aalis Bogdana . . . Cateline would suffice. Your majesty."
I nod in acknownledgement.
"Then miss Cateline . . . don't you think so too that among those kid might be a hidden gem? And if there is then isn't it best for us to find that gem and polish it."
"Your esteem self is right. I too think we should find and polish that gem. Please rest assure, I will convey your esteem self's message to Carnials."
"Hmmm . . . miss Cateline, Please do inform your colleague to be careful while inspecting others. She was lucky that I cast isolation magic before counter-measures. Otherwise she would be dead right now."
"Please don't be so shocked that I noticed it. And also please shut your wide open mouth. A fly might enter your mouth."
"Hmmm . . . see you in arena then miss Cateline."
After that Six Miko Princess took her leave and conveyed Jagrath's request to visit tournament to Cardinals.
AFTER A WEEK
A week has been passed and now today's the day of our mock battle. Kuku I am looking forward to this. I know that I CAN use my magic and warrior skills in this fantasy world but some of the uses have been changed or some of the way that some spell worked has changed. But I ONLY know this much. I don't know how big of this CHANGE is or exactly on which spells and skills its on. So I looking forward to this mock battle of ours . . . come to think of it, I have never been in a fight for like 2-3 years . . . fufufu it would be interesting.
"We are here. Your Majesty" A maid opened the door of our carriage and informed us that we have reached our destination.
Me, Axael and Cardinal Raymond are in samge carriage and Black Scripture and other Cardinals are already inside the arena.
Though, It was a surprise that Cardinal Raymond himself wanted to take us to arena.
As expected of them, they have arranged the best arena in Slane Theocracy. I know it because of the tournament. Warrior's tournament was also held here in this same arena and needless to say, I visited that tournament in this arena as a guest. And because I did watched that tournament that I now know for certain that average level of peoples in this fantasy world is quite low and also that there is something called martial arts which is both similar and different to Warrior Magic of the Yggdrasil at the same time. and watching that tournament also let me know that even though Yggdrail Magic exist in this fantasy world, It might not have same uses or it might have some changes to it.
All in all, watching the tournament helped me learn a lot. And I do plan on watching the finals which is after four days. The contestants who are in the final round have peaked my interest. Even though I don't like the idea of having to wait four whole days to watch finals as a spectator but I still think they did it right to leave some days of gap between Semi-Finals and Finals as this will provide time for warriors recovers to their strength. And also a whole lot of excitement for the hyped finals from the viewers. plus, in my opinion, its much better to watch both warriors fight with their full strength rather than with their depleted strength and half-assed punches. And also this gap of days allows us to have our friendly mock battle in a proper arena than a barren land which we initially planned it in to be as it will some insurance that even if we fight destructively( which we are definitely going to be). Insurance, that nobody will be harmed with our little fight.
However, fighting in a proper arena has its benefits. Benefits like …. Benefits like….. OK!, there are no better benefits of fighting in a proper arena than in a barren land EXCEPT of the feeling it will give in fighting a proper arena…. And also that it will be a whole lot easier to clean up the arena to return it back as it was before our fight which will be difficult in a barren land. Well anyways.
This arena is very similar to Rome Colosseum in design. It has big circular field in the middle just like colosseum. And the place where people sit is also circular and two meter away from field. It also a section called VIP room which has a glass in between the room and the field. It also at the highest level of arena so it provides good view for the fight.
Although I have seen the circular field from VIP room. It seems completely different when you are in it. It feels 'big and grand' to be exact.
I have just entered the arena and I can see Black Scripture and Cardinals in the middle of the arena.
I walked toward them and noticed that they have prepared some artifacts on the table. I was just some meters away from them and I stopped there and they all including Cardinals kneeled in front of me in perfect unison.
So now, cardinals and members of Black Scripture plus all the members of other scripture who came to watch our mock battle were kneeling. and Azael kneeling beside me.
"Raise Your Heads" I commanded
They all raise their head on my command.
"If these items present on this table which will be used in our mock battle, then please pick them up and battle ready them . . . Please don't misunderstood me. I am asking you to pick them up because I don't want to appraise item which will be used in our battle and gain an advantage. As you all know, Knowledge is Power, so getting knowledge of items which will be used against me while you don't have the knowledge of item I will be using against you is highly unfair for a friendly mock battle."
I am not joking when I say that its unfair. I truly think that it's unfair and I don't want it but however, if there were of equal fitting with me then I will sure to take this advantage and exploit it as much as I can to win. But as their level is too low to even hurt me. I think I shouldn't do this to them right now at least.
"We understand. Captain takes the items your team will be using in this mock battle right now." Commanded Cardinal Raymond.
After receiving command to takes items his team will be using in mock battle. Captain of Black Scripture proceed to take those item and handed them to their respective owner.
"Good. now then shall I take a look at them." After saying it Jagrath cast [ Mass Appraise Magic Item ] Hmm . . . it effect really has changed. In Yggdrasil, appraise magic only shows Name, Class, Level and Useless Backstory of the item. But now it also shows its effects, or how to use, and what this item does. I still can't get used to it even though I have appraised magic item in this 'fantasy' world before.
Remaining items on the table were all legendary-class item so I don't care to give them a second look. However, one item stood out to me the most. I walked toward it and grab the orb which is totally black from top to bottom. Its blackness really seem like that light is being absorb in its surface which giving it this dark black color.
Orb of Destruction, a World-Class Item. Fufufu. A item which can erase player with negative karma higher than -100 to dust in 500m radius. This world-class item is as powerful as it is useless. This world-class item will erase player with negative karma high than -100 to dust whether they be friendly or not. Means you can even kill your own guildmates with this world-class item. And that's the reason it's as powerful as useless. Its powerful because it you use it on guild whose all member have higher negative karma than -100 then that whole guild will be dead and you will acquire a guild base in cost of one of the twenties.
"Cardinals, How much do you know about this Divine-Class Item." I said 'Divine-Class' item instead of World-Class item it is. because I don't think they know what is the difference between a WCI and a DCI and I don't want to create a confusion right now.
"We only know that this artifact left behind by Six Great Gods is so powerful that it will destroy itself after one use. And that this artifact is so powerful that it will kill any evil being it used on."
"Unfortunately, what you say is only a portion of what it is capable of. However, this artifact can kill anyone within 500 meter radius. However, the way this artifact works. It doesn't only kill 'evil being', it kill anyone who meets its requirement. And unfortunately, I can't tell you exactly what are those requirements are but with the way this artifact works. It will also kill Azael if we get careless and don't do counter measures against it. Therefore, I would keep this item safe with me."
*gasp everyone gasp at what I said even Azael was surprised by it. And yes, I could have worded it better. The way I word it made them think that this item is so powerful that it can kill Azael who is a subordinate of a literal god even above their Six Great Gods. however, while this is true that Orb of Darkness can kill Azael, it's not entirely correct. Azael CAN get killed by Orb of Darkness but only if he un-equip the WCI he have equipped on him. And which Azael is not stupid enough to do… I hope. However, the way I word it made them think there is no counter measure against it which is totally not the case. But I still want this item and, I don't want them to put-at least—'This Item' above me. and I should have word it which makes them think that their knowledge that this item kills 'only bad beings' is wrong and that It has some requirements which are so absurd that it will harm a pure being like Azael who is literal Angel for them at least. in reality he is devil disguised as angel.
"I think you all have misunderstood me. Yes, It can hurt Azael and it has the POWER to kill Azael. But like any other item. This item also has its countermeasure. However, explaining its countermeasures in simple enough words that you all can comprehend will take a long time and I don't believe that I should even explain it to you all. So, all you have to know that items which contain powers like this item are even above items categorized as DIVINE-CLASS items and are called WORLD-CLASS Items.-"
"-and some of these items are have so absurd requirements with the way they are used that no guild ever even think of using them and are often given some title like this one here. While its real name is Orb of Darkness, its known as 'World-Class item which is as useless as it's powerful'… Ahem, I said enough." Even though my speech right now may came to them as rude. But its better this way than me having to explain in for another 2 hours.
After that, I move toward the table and picked up the Orb of Darkness. And then opened my inventory and put it in there. While I was doing all this, no one uttered a single word to try to stop me because they know that this item is better with me than with them.
I then step back a few steps from the table and turned my face toward the Black Scripture because I don't want any further delays on this. I am excited to know the how this 'fantasy' world has affected my powers. So I addressed the Black Scripture.
"Now then shall we start our mock battle. I am looking forward to your performance. Don't disappoint me . . . Ah, I shall give you a choice. Which of my form would you like to fight? My, 'this humanoid form' or 'my original angelic form'? ….. And Cardinal Raymond, I am asking members of Black Scripture."
Before Cardinal Raymond could speak on behalf of Black Scripture once again, I made it clear that I am asking Black Scripture not him.
After some discussion between the members of Black Scripture among themselves. Captain of Black Scripture spoke on behalf of entire Scripture.
"We would like to fight your highness's humanoid form. If given the pleasure to choose." Answered Captain of Black Scripture.
"Hmm okay. So please clean this up and lets continue our battle and let Cardinals be the judges of our mock battle and as I am the one challenging you. You can choose the rules of our battle. And so, do cardinal agree with being our judge?"
By 'clean this up' I meant cleanup of the table middle of the arena and the items on it. and understanding this, some people came forward and helped with the cleanup of the table along with items on it.
""It will be our honor to judge this magnificent battle of your highness."" Replied all Cardinals in unison.
"then, Captain, what will be our rules?"
"Yes, as this is 9vs1, 1st rule will be that your highness have to defend our attack for 15mins straight and if we manage to lend a hit on your highness then we win if not then your highness wins. 2nd as this is mock battle, we would like to avoid fatal injury or deaths. So, the one who inflicts fatal injury or kills will automatically loses. 3rd we think that as we are more in numbers. Your highness can switch weapons in between matches how many times they like. But we can only switch between two weapons. That's all your highness."
"Hmmm they are not bad rules considering you came up with them in an instant. However I would like to change 2nd rule a bit. The injury which can be healed with healing magic or healing potions won't be count as fatal injury and thus the use of healing magic and potion in between our mock battle s allowed. And also I would like to ask a question. Does subconscious count as 'fatal injury'? And if not then if I subconscious all of you, will it count as my win?"
"I think that as subconscious is not a injury it shouldn't be count as 'fatal injury'. and if we end up subconscious then it will be your highness win. And also we agree with your highness change of 2nd rule."
I nod in response.
"as judge of mock battle between Black Scripture and Your Highness, I ask do both parties agree with the rules." This time Yvon ask it in very sincere and professional tone and body language.
""Yes, We agree"" confirmed whole of Black scripture.
"I agree with the rules as well." I confirmed too.
After that everybody moved aside and to audience chamber including Azael, except me and Black Scripture. We were the only ones in the ground of arena left. Everyone else had moved to audience seats with members of other Scripture who came to watch our mock battle.
Then, we get battle ready and took our separate stand facing each other.
In the meanwhile, I had taken out a Divine-Class Sword. This was like a katana but with white glow around it and a symbol of Mortifier guild on the handle. And in the meantime, black scripture had also change into their battle armor and weapons.
So, on one side are members of Black Scripture with their armor and weapons and on one side I am facing them with no armor but with a glowing katana. However, I have a reason to not wear armor in this situation.
Then, whole audience of arena consisting of members 5 Scriptures, Cardinals, and Six Miko Princesses. Started counting backwards.

BEGIN
As soon as the word "begin" was said. We started fighting. Their two members with shield—most probably tanks—put their shields in front of two magic caster while their these magic caster, cast several tier-2 and tier-3 spells. And their one caster caste a tier-4 binding spell. Captain of Black Scripture with one other change forward.
Even though we are at a distance of about 10ft, they charge at me with their full speed without a hint of hesitation. Except they were too slow for me… I stood there doing nothing and waiting for their spell casters to finish their spells and their warriors to reach me as I prepare for all their attacks and spells and planning on in which order to finish them… they were this slow for me… huhh.. this is going to be boring I think.. wait, a elf..? woah she is way faster than them.. NICE! Kukukuku this is gong to be fun..

I'll explain why I got this late on this chapter…. But for now I can only apologize to you all.. I am sorry..
