Please don't hate me. I went on a five month trip to Florida. And I ended up forgetting about FanFiction and all my amazing fans. So...I'm sorry. Then I felt too guilty to write again. Then I read the Charlotte Holmes series, and I met another adorable ship between Charlotte Holmes and Jamie Watson, and I was reminded of Percabeth. The series ended and I was heartbroken, so I started reading other fanfics and I found inspiration. So here is chapter 13.

Annabeth PoV

"Percy, the ice arch is supposed to be at the front, not the top!", I yelled.

"Well I'm sorry I don't study architecture 30 hours a day!", he yelled sarcastically

I rolled my eyes, "There are only 24 hours a day, and the arch in the front is common sense."

Jason held up his hands, "Hey guys, I think they've almost finished their catapult"

We were playing a snowball fight in our backyard where Leo and Percy added an artificial lake in the center.

We had Percy, Jason, Piper, Thalia, and I on one team. Frank, Hazel, Leo, Calypso, Reyna, and Nico on the other.

Our plan was this: I would design the ice fort, Percy and Jason would help me build and shoot snowballs, Piper was supposed to shoot at the other fort with her cornucopia (AN: Pretend she didn't give it to Phobos and Deimos a.k.a. the jerks), and Thalia was supposed to shoot fire and fart arrows at the other fort (AN: Remember the Titan's Curse?).

On the other side, it looks like Leo was building catapults and all sorts of mechanical weapons. Frank had turned into a polar bear, and Hazel was riding Arion to drag ice to the fort. Nico had summoned some skeletal warriors, and Reyna was writing the battle plan.

It looks like Percy and Jason moved the arch to the front. I looked back at the fortress and it was impressive. Percy had used his water powers to shape them into snowballs from all shapes and sizes. Jason was going to use the winds and launch them at the other fortress.

"We're ready!", Leo yelled.

I grinned, "Same here. First fort to collapse loses."

"Deal! Let's go!"

Leo pressed the button on his belt, and suddenly the cannons on the sides started firing, and the catapults were launching. He scurried back inside their fort.

"Take that!", yelled Piper as her watermelon had jammed a cannon. Thalia had begun shooting and melting the outer walls. This was going all to plan

"Percy, get me the snowballs", called Jason. Percy scurried out from the storage room with a snowball the size of a mammoth. Jason summoned the winds and it crashed down upon their fort. Which didn't budge at all, except maybe drowning Nico in snow.

Then their catapult launched a giant snowball and hit Thalia. Damn, I thought, that's one down for us.

The second giant snowball was blown by Jason which knocked down the outer wall. "Let's go!", exclaimed Percy.

Frank the penguin army squawked and ran into the tower. Unfortunately, I couldn't see Reyna, Hazel, or Calypso anywhere. What were they doing.

Percy and Jason were extremely efficient now. They were launching snowballs every minute. I watched in amusement as their towers and walls fell one by one. Frank was doing his best to fill the catapults with snowballs, but there were too little snowballs for so many.

It had started to get a little bit warm. I took off my Canada Goose jacket. Piper had insisted on buying them since her mom apparently disliked them. They were apparently too rough or something. Then the thought hit me. Warm?, I thought, it's the middle of winter!.

"Hey Annabeth, the towers are melting", screamed Piper. So it's not just me.

"Percy, you gotta be quicker than that. I need more snowballs!", called Jason.

Percy yelled back, "I'm making more. They all melted!"

"Dammit", sighed Jason.

I looked down at the floor. It was wet, and the ice was getting thinner. What was going on?

Then, our fort collapsed in a giant flood that would've flooded the entire yard, if Percy hadn't directed it back into the lake.

"No way did we lose!", Percy yelled.

What had happened?

Our answers were answered when Leo, Reyna, Hazel, and Calypso appeared from inside the melted fort. Leo's hands were ablaze, and his face stretched into a huge grin.

"Not the flaming elf again!", screamed Thalia.

Leo PoV

While Annabeth and her gang were launching snowballs at our poor fort, Hazel, Sunshine, Reyna, and I were breaking through the ground underneath the snow.

Hazel's underground sense navigated us through while Reyna, Calypso, and Nico's skeleton army were breaking us there.

The plan was simple: Hazel's supposed to summon rocks and stuff and try to break the foundation. Reyna and the skeleton army would be trying to use the mini cannons to do the same, while Supreme Commander of the 2020 Leo Fort and Sunshine would melt the ice from the center.

We gave one last dig and Hazel said, "There! We're at the ice fort."

"You guys ready? 3...2...1...Go."

We dug towards the middle, and soon reached the part where Hazel predicted was roughly the center. I pressed my palm on the ice, and ignited my hand on fire.

The ice around started melting. Good.

Sunshine tapped me on the shoulder, "Uh Leo?"

I replied, "Yeah?"

She looked worried, "What if the ice crashes down on us?"

"Well then we'd be buried alive!"

"Then do you have a plan to get us out?"

"Of course! It's called improv!"

"Great", she muttered, "my tombstone will say: 'Calypso, buried alive during a snowball fight, Golden Age - 12/24/2020'"

I grinned. "Exactly"

I heard screams above. This was going exactly as planned.

Three minutes later, the whole thing collapsed. And buried us. Luckily, I'm so hot, so I melted the snow (AN: Horrible pun).

We emerged from the ruins to find that 2020 Leo Fort was barely alive. A grin stretched across my face.

Author's Note:

There it is. Done. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some fanfictions to read. See ya!

Oh, by the way, I totally forgot.

Disclaimer:

I don't own PJO/HoO/ToA, so at least the semi-sad ending isn't my fault. You can blame Uncle Rick.
