I don't own anything Descendants or Disney
So it Begins
While the future kids were out in the hallway making their phone calls, the others took seats in various places on the floor waiting for the kids to return.
"Who do you think they called?" Jane asked after a few minutes in silence.
"No clue, but I am curious about my own future. You think they will tell us anything about ourselves?" Jay asked the group.
"Doubtful. That girl with glasses was very level headed about it all and doesn't want things to change because we know things that could possibly change." Carlos spoke up. Doug could help a small smile that came over his face. He was proud of that little girl. She looked a lot like him, except for her eyes. Yeah she called him dad earlier, but after speaking to her he just felt that connection. It was a weird sensation-understatement of the year.
"I just want to go home." Dizzy said quietly. She had her knees under her chin and arms wound tightly around her legs. Her face was scrunched up trying to not cry at their predicament, but the other's heart went out to the poor distressed girl.
Akiho especially didn't like the look she was giving off. 'Dizzy's face only needs a giant watt smile' he thought as he moved from his spot so he could crouch down in front of her. "Dizzy, do you trust Ben?"
Everyone was confused by where this was headed. 'What did Ben have to do with anything?' They thought.
"Yeah. But what does that matter?" Dizzy sniffled looking up at Akiho.
"Trust that Ben raised his son right and that he will help us get out of this mess." He said gently.
"MY WHAT?!" Ben shouted.
"Oh BennyBoy! How'd you not think that little flame wasn't one of your own?" Harry mocked the king.
"Ben, he literally called you dad." Mal deadpanned
"Not only that but if you switched his hair and eyes he could be your carbon copy." Celia put in.
"Sorry." Ben took a deep breath and let it out slowly. "It hasn't really sunk in just yet."
"I get it Ben. You'll be okay." Lonnie scooted closer to him on the floor to pat his shoulder for comfort.
The doors of the Ballroom burst open and hit the wall as the future kids came in.
"Well they are pissed." Swords shirt commented to his friends.
"I didn't know some of the words that were used." Bows girl scrunched up her face in thought to the previous conversation that had taken place.
"That's probably a good thing that we don't know." Glasses girl had a frown on her face looking towards the bow girl.
"We are so dead. I can promise you were going to get blamed." Blue haired boy said. The four kept talking to each other, not paying attention to the almost adults in the room watching and listening to the conversation.
"We didn't do anything though." Glasses girl shot back at him.
"Yeah, but how many times have we done something? This is just too big of a deal to not get blamed for. You know them. Do you think they won't at least let the thought that this" blue hair said gesturing hands out to the group from the past "is our fault?"
"He's got a point." The Bow girl said.
"We are so screwed." Swords shirt deadpanned clueing into what his friend was saying.
"I'm sorry, but why would you get In trouble for us being brought here if you weren't the culprits?" Jordan asked. The four jumped a bit, forgetting they had an audience.
"That's just the way things are. Well… we might be exaggerating a little because we do cause… mischief." Glasses girl said with a smirk that her friends matched.
'She didn't get that look from me.' Thought Doug. 'That's 100 percent a VK look.'
"Especially since we interrupted their sparring match. Lucky us the campus isn't far from the castle." Blue hair boy said the last part sarcastically.
"I'm sorry, but did you say sparring?" Uma asked enthusiastically. Sparring was her favorite pastime after all.
"Well duh. With our family it's hard to not get into it. Especially in a no holds, no rules, roundabout all out match." The bow girl declared. The four future kids had shared a smirk that made the past AK question what they were talking about, until Jay spoke up.
"Are you serious?!" He said standing to his feet "In Auradon? That's not heard of. They have so many rules and regulations that hold you back till you look like you got a stick up your butt with your nose turned towards the sky! "HEY!" Ben, Lonnie, Akiho, Chad and Aziz cried out, but Jay kept going like they never spoke. "The real matches come from the Isle so how in the world did that change?!"
"Breathe Jay." Gil tried to calm his friend.
"I'm breathing, I'm just curious." Jay tried to downplay his enthusiasm, but couldn't deny that this was a good part of the future.
"We can't exactly say, at least not yet... Well… ask the people that are coming." The bow girl looked like she was on the verge of a panic attack since she couldn't say anything to the group.
"It's okay, we understand." Surprisingly Jane stepped towards the girl noticing the beginning stage of the panic and placed a hand on her back to rub soothing circles around till her breathing evened out. "That wasn't fair of us to ask you after we already promised we wouldn't. We're sorry." Jane made direct eye contact when speaking to the child.
"I just realized we're still about to be in trouble." Blue hair boy said to his friends and his face scrunched up a bit from the thought.
"Who's going to be upset with you?" Aziz asked the kids.
"Um…well you see… we have-" whatever he was going to say was cut off by a loud scream that echoed throughout the castle.
"DRA!!!!!!!!!!"
