ATM: The Bonehead and the Brain – Faith Star and the Blue Thunder Kid

As DX regains control of the NXT roster, Seth Rollins and his God girls realise that they might have underestimated just how powerful Sasha's new Gift is.

Chapter Twelve – Sasha Knows Best

Royal Maiden Hall, Clearwater, Florida

Hunter looked around at all the DX family members who were having the time of their lives, joining in with Hayworth and MacKenzie in celebrating their coming together as a married couple. The DX children had been friends with Charlene MacKenzie for years, they had never really been apart and now, Mac was part of their family. It was a very special occasion for the DX family and it was starting to dawn on Hunter that he was watching his son grow into his own person. A smile grew on Hunter's face as his time came around to give a speech to the new married couple. Everyone cheered him as he rose to his feet with a glass of champagne in hand.

"Hayworth," he said turning to his son, "you have fought me tooth and nail on this journey to Mac's heart. Watching you both tonight, you have proven just how much you care about her. I haven't seen you this happy since you enrolled at Harvard,"

"He'd still be there if it wasn't for you," Shawn Michaels reminded Hunter who scowled at his best friend.

"Shut up Shawn," Hunter said and everyone laughed. "My son never needed Harvard, Harvard needed my son and I'm glad I got you outta there when I did. Your life isn't going to be within the four walls of an Ivy League college, your life is out here, in the real world, with the love of your life. You stood up for Mac, in-spite of all my issues around you two getting married, here you both are and for that, you have my respect. Hayworth, MacKenzie, I salute you and I hope you like your wedding present. To the bride and groom!"

Hunter raised his glass to HayMac and everyone cheered the speech which was a very welcome outcome for HayMac. Up until this point, they had no idea what Hunter was going to say.

"Thank God he said the right thing," Mac said to Hayworth from the head wedding table. "Do you know what our wedding present is?"

"No but if I know my Dad, it won't be cheap," Hayworth replied and he stood up as Hunter came over to hug him.

"I'm proud of you son," Hunter said sincerely and Chyna wiped tears of joy away from her face.

"That was a great speech Dad," Hayworth said and MacKenzie applauded their embrace.

"I'm in the mood to dance. Come on Daddy, let's hit the dance floor!" MacKenzie said to her father who was looking over at the other side of the room at Seth and Sasha.

"Sure thing baby girl," Pastor Mac said as the caterers cleared all the tables away.

"Are you okay Daddy?" MacKenzie asked her father who had a concerned look on his face.

"Do you know why Seth and Sasha are going to Saudi Arabia?" Pastor Mac asked his daughter.

"Seth's on assignment, God told him to go there," MacKenzie replied as her father furrowed his brow. "Is something bothering you about that Daddy?"

"Yes my dear," Pastor Mac said. "but if God is good with it, then I ain't got nuthin' to say,"

Mac put her hand over her father's gently, "Well clearly something is bothering you, do you want me to ask Seth to talk to you before he goes?"

"No, I already talked to him, there's nothing else for him to say, he's going and that's the end of it. There's really no reason for him to stay," Pastor Mac said and MacKenzie realised what was bothering her father.

"Don't worry Daddy, the DX family will be in good hands while Seth and Sasha are out of the country. I'll introduce you to the God girls, you'll see what I mean." MacKenzie said and she pulled her father over to the dance floor while Seth wrapped up his conversation with his wife.

"I can't believe you're giving me these," Sasha said looking down at her hands that were now covered in royal blue velvet gloves. "I mean they're cute but, can I use Blue Thunder while I'm wearing these things?"

"Let's just say they're training gloves," Seth said. "I want to see if you can control Blue Thunder because right now, it seems like you're being a little reckless with it. Gifts have to grow and in order for them to grow, they have to be nurtured and going off on people you don't like is not how to use a Gift from God,"

"How am I supposed to grow with these pretty but dumb gloves on?" Sasha protested.

"I want you to spend some-time with Shawn and Lita and see how a Gift from God can and should be used. Sit under their learning tree for a few weeks and then, when they think you've learned enough, you can take the gloves off," Seth said and Sasha looked at the latest addition to her wardrobe.

"I don't hate them but I miss my fingers," Sasha replied.

Seth smiled at his wife taking her gloved fingers in his hands, "I miss them too but it's for your own good and the good of everyone else who crosses you," Seth replied affectionately.

Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose came over to Seth and Sasha while their wives spoke to the bride and groom.

"I love this wedding, we should hang out with HayMac a lot more. They are so much more fun than Hunter," Dean said and Roman nodded in agreement.

"Sasha you look beautiful in that blue dress," Roman said to Sasha who blushed shyly.

"Thanks Roman," she said with a smile.

"What's with the gloves?" Dean asked curiously.

"They're a precaution; Seth wants me to wear them until I've brought my Gift from God under control," Sasha explained and she squeezed Seth's shoulder. "I love my husband, he's always looking out for me,"

Roman and Dean watched as Seth led Sasha to the dance floor and the God girls came over to them.

"I see Seth's taken matters into his own hands with those gloves," Becky Lynch said noticing Sasha's new gloves. "Let's dance Ambrose,"

"Lead the way Bex," Ambrose said and Becky Lynch led him to the dance floor while Roman extended his hands to both Bliss and Bianca.

"Isn't it just like Roman to have two women dance with him?" Bliss said.

"Well I'd say you could dance with my son but he's asleep with Faith Star," Roman said.

"Faith Star's not asleep, she's watching over Abiyah. She's getting ready for her assignment by keeping her eye on him now," Bianca said. "She won't let him out of her sight,"

"She sent me a picture of him, he's getting so big," Roman said proudly.

"Yeah, he takes after his old man," Bliss added and Roman smiled. It was clear to Bianca that Abiyah's proximity wasn't being taken for granted by the Big Dog. It wasn't going to be long before seeing Abiyah was going to be a wish more than a regular occurrence.

"Can I tell you guys something and you promise you won't get mad at me?" Roman asked Bliss and Belair.

"I won't get mad at you Roman," Bliss said sweetly.

"I will," Belair said firmly. "You're gonna say something stupid,"

"I can't help it, it's this wedding," Roman said. "There's so much love in this room right now, can you blame me for fawning over my son?"

"No Roman of course not but you have to keep your emotions in check," Bianca said sternly, "Abiyah does not know you're his father, you can't let your emotions get to you,"

"I know, it's just hard. He's so beautiful and Sasha's so beautiful, look what we created together? How can I not be proud of that?" Roman said. "Don't get me wrong, I'm not proud of what I did, I love my wife and cheating on her was one of the worst things I've ever done but man, that is one beautiful kid," Roman said and Bliss and Bianca smiled at each other: there was no denying that.
