As DX regains control of the NXT roster, Seth Rollins and his God girls realise that they mighthave underestimated just how powerful Sasha's new Gift is.
Chapter Twenty Two – Here's Looking at You, Kid
Abiyah's nursery, North Wing of the Sandbox
Sasha leaned over Abiyah's crib, watching him as he slept. She smiled lovingly to herself, thinking that it felt like it was just yesterday that she gave birth to her son, who was now standing out in his own crib. He was getting bigger and his hair was getting longer and thicker. She could barely find all the plush little stars he had hidden in his hair, his black locks were becoming his perfect hiding place.
"You're such a special little boy," Sasha said, "we're going to have so much fun together, my little blue thunder kid,"
Sasha kissed Abiyah on the side of his head and left the nursery quietly closing the door so it was just slightly open.
Hunter approached Sasha as she turned to head down towards the DX kitchen to find something to eat.
"So now you're hungry, you didn't eat a thing at dinner time," Hunter said to her as she opened the refrigerator.
"I couldn't eat I was too preoccupied thinking about my son's new Gift," Sasha replied pulling some leftover food out of the fridge.
"Here, let me warm that up for you," Hunter said taking the food away from Sasha and taking it over to the oven.
Sasha licked the sauce off her finger as she thought about Abiyah, "Do you remember what it was like when your daughters got their Gifts from God?" Sasha asked Hunter.
Hunter closed the oven door and turned to Sasha with a smile, "Things were crazy when my girls got their Gifts from God. Amy, Trish and Melina had just gotten their Gifts and the war between DX and the McMahon family had just started. Aurora and Lisa were caught right in the middle of it and that's probably why their Gifts are so powerful. I mean, if you're gonna take on the McMahon family, you better come fully equipped and I can say with utmost confidence that if it wasn't for those Gifts from God, Shawn and I would not be here right now. We were on Satan's hit list for sure but through every attack we've suffered, we've won and it's all because of those Gifts," Hunter put his arm around Sasha, "Now I guess it's your turn, it looks like you, Seth and Abiyah are going to be in for one Hell of a ride,"
Sasha smiled, "Seth smartened me up to what our lives were going to be like when we got to Saudi Arabia and I got all excited. Now that I've seen Abiyah's Gift in action, I know that this is for real. Plus, you add Faith Star to the mix, Saudi Arabia is going to be a crazy adventure for all of us," she said. "And I can't wait,"
"And I can't wait to hear all about it," Hunter said hugging Sasha, "you guys aren't moving to Saudi permanently, are you?"
Sasha shrugged, "I don't know, I think it depends on how long Seth's assignment is," Sasha replied as Seth came into the kitchen having just finished a conversation with Hayworth. "Babe, how long are we going to be in Saudi?" she asked her husband who was not looking like he was excited about anything right now.
"Forget about Saudi, we got other problems," Seth replied and he looked up at Hunter, "Stephanie sent officers to Hayworth's honeymoon suite in the Bahamas. She sent them there to get Mac's wedding ring,"
"What?!" Hunter said outraged.
"Don't worry, Stephanie doesn't know we switched it out for a normal ring. Thank God Bianca told Mac to give her ring to Faith Star before she left for her honeymoon," Seth said.
"Damn that ex-wife of mine," Hunter said slamming his fist down on the island counter. "So, she didn't get the ring, is there anything else we need to know?"
"I just had a long conversation with Hayworth, he wants Mac to wear her real wedding ring," Seth said.
"But doesn't that mean that Stephanie will come after her?" Sasha said.
"Of course it does, which means that Mac is not going to be safe while we're in Saudi Arabia with Faith Star," Seth said and Sasha sighed.
"So, Stephanie can't get to me so she'll go after the newest addition to the DX family, all because of a stupid ring, what is wrong with that woman?!" Sasha said. "So babe, what are we going to do about it?"
"Well, Faith Star was assigned to you because she's a DX kid. I'm thinking that HayMac might need a little angelic assistance of their own," Seth said.
"But Hayworth doesn't need angelic assistance, he's already a DX kid," Hunter said.
"But he doesn't have a Gift like Lisa, Cameron, Cheyenne, Rebecca and Aurora do," Seth said.
"Are you saying another one of my children has to be assigned to HayMac because of my stupid ex-wife and her obsession with the DX family jewels?!" Hunter said.
"All I'm saying, is that if Mac is going to wear her DX ring, she's going to need 24 hour surveillance to be protected from Stephanie McMahon," Seth explained.
"Well, there's only one DX baby left and they haven't even been born yet," Hunter said getting the food out of the oven.
"You mean Remi and RJ Orton's baby?" Sasha said.
"Yeah, the baby's due next week," Hunter said dishing out some dinner for Sasha.
"Wow, another DX baby, how cool is that?!" Sasha said twirling her fork while Seth joined her on the island. "Maybe our baby and Remi and RJ's baby could be best friends,"
"We're not going to be here remember?" Seth said eating from his wife's plate.
"Plus, I don't know if Remi and RJ have the maturity to handle a DX kid. Look at the great job LC and Cameron have done with Faith Star? I wouldn't expect the same level of brilliance from a Michaels – Orton hybrid," Hunter said tapping into the rivalry between the Helmsley and the Michaels side of the DX families.
"DX sure can cook," Sasha said loving her dinner that she was now sharing with Seth, "I love the DX family but you guys ain't got nuthin' on our kid,"
"Yeah, you and Roman must be very proud," Hunter said cheekily and Sasha hit him on the shoulder. "I'm just teasing!"
"I know Abiyah is technically Roman's son but if it wasn't for Seth's strong Christian beliefs, there's no doubt in my mind, that my son would not be the special boy he is right now. He's all Boss and he's all Rollins, he just looks like a Reigns. I ain't got a problem with that, do you babe?" Sasha asked Seth.
"No, I don't, can we please get back to the subject at hand instead of debating whose kid is the greatest?" Seth said. "All the kids are great but we gotta figure out how to keep Mac safe once she puts that DX ring back on her finger,"
"Don't worry Seth, I'm sure Bianca will come up with something. That woman is a genius. She came up with using Blinky, Summer and Justice to rescue Becky and Alexa. I'm sure she'll come up with something to protect Mac too," Sasha said and Seth smiled at his wife.
"She'll be over tomorrow with Alexa and Becky. The God girls are starting to grow on you, aren't they?" Seth asked his wife.
"Let's just say I'm starting to see things from their perspective. They'll do whatever it takes to protect each other and I'll do whatever it takes to protect you," Sasha said stroking Seth's face lovingly.
"And I'll do whatever it takes to protect Mac, I promised her father I would always be there for her and I can't leave for Saudi until I know she's safe. I'm the one who brought HayMac together and I married them, I'm not about to leave them to the she-wolf that is Stephanie McMahon," Seth said.
"Easy there God boy, you have a family of your own to think about, plus you're leaving the country in a few weeks. Shawn and I and the rest of the DX family will take care of this," Hunter said.
"Hunter, the more involved the DX family gets in this, the worse it will get for HayMac. Why do you think Hayworth came to me for help in the first place? It's because I'm not a Helmsley or a Michaels. I'm a Rollins, so let me take care of this," Seth said.
"Sure Seth, go ahead, give it your best shot and if things get too out of control, you can always ask Roman for help," Hunter said sarcastically but Seth didn't mind the comment.
"He's my Triple H," Seth replied and Sasha scowled at Hunter for his comment.
"But unlike you, Roman's not a thick-headed Bonehead," she said and Hunter snatched her plate of food away vindictively.
"No more delicious DX food for you Banks, now get out of my kitchen. I'm going to call my ex-wife and tell her to leave my son and his new wife alone," Hunter said and Seth and Sasha rolled their eyes as they got up from the kitchen island.
"Yeah, because she always listens to you," Sasha said leaving the kitchen with Seth after stealing Hunter's cell-phone out of his pocket so he couldn't call Stephanie and make things even worse for his son. "Forget about the Bonehead Seth, it's the Brain you gotta think about. You made a promise to Hayworth and Mac and you're going to keep it. I won't see your integrity tarnished because Hunter doesn't have a single good idea in that bug-addled brain of his,"
Seth nodded, "Hunter loves his son and his heart is in the right place but he needs help when it comes to God stuff. I'll talk to Bianca, hopefully we can come up with a solution before we leave for Saudi," he said as Hunter looked around for his cell-phone.
"Hey, where's my phone?" Hunter said and Sasha chuckled throwing Hunter's phone up and down while Seth laughed. What the Rollins family didn't know was that things were going to get a lot crazier before they left for Saudi Arabia, as there was a certain Black Hearted individual that they had both totally forgotten about and as Bianca Belair would soon remind Seth, it wasn't a good idea to forget about Bayley for too long.
