As DX regains control of the NXT roster, Seth Rollins and his God girls realise that they mighthave underestimated just how powerful Sasha's new Gift is.

Chapter Twenty Five – Charlotte's Choice

WWE HQ, Stamford, CT

Sasha Banks entered the WWE HQ building and went to the meeting room where Ric Flair said that he would be with Charlotte. Faith Star was with her, Hunter's granddaughter had been to WWE HQ a couple of times but she had forgotten how big it was. The size of it wasn't lost on Sasha; the WWE was the biggest wrestling company in the world, it was only fitting that the HQ be just as big as the company was.

Turning towards the room where Charlotte and Ric were waiting, Sasha pushed the door open and saw Charlotte and Ric Flair sitting by a huge mahogany table. Ric looked nervous but Charlotte looked composed and was smiling. Sasha closed the door behind her wondering what was going on.

"Hey guys, what's going on?" Sasha asked as Ric Flair hugged Faith Star and Charlotte got up to meet Sasha face-to-face.

"My father's a little dramatic, maybe you can talk some sense into him," Charlotte said to Sasha.

The Boss furrowed her brow, "Well that depends, what are you guys doing here?" she asked Charlotte.

"I came up with an idea and I wanted to run it passed WWE management. Turns out they love my idea and they want to get behind it but they won't make any announcements until the new CEO has been chosen," Charlotte said.

"So, what's that got to do with me?" Sasha said with a shrug.

"It doesn't have anything to do with you," Charlotte said.

"She's out of her mind!" Ric Flair said and Sasha was befuddled.

"Why is your father so upset?" Sasha asked Charlotte.

"Because I want to bring DX back to run the WWE," Charlotte said and Sasha gasped.

"What?!" she said in disbelief.

"Yeah, I told management my idea and they loved it, so I said that if they wanted the rights to it, I'll let them have my idea on one condition and that condition is that they bring DX back to run the WWE," Charlotte said. "And they said yes,"

Sasha jumped up and down excitedly, "This is fantastic!" she said. "I can't believe you got the Board to agree to rehire DX! They'll be running the whole company!"

"I know, it's great isn't it?" Charlotte said happily.

"No, it is not great," Ric Flair interjected. "Do you know how mad Stephanie McMahon is going to be when she finds out you got DX rehired to run the WWE?!"

Now suddenly Ric's unhappiness with his daughter made sense to Sasha; Ric was afraid that Stephanie was going to retaliate when she found out that Charlotte was the reason DX was running the WWE again.

"I gotta ask Charlotte and I guess this is the question Ric is asking too, why did you ask for DX to be rehired?" Sasha asked Charlotte and the Queen played with her hair thoughtfully.

"Because she's out of her mind, that's why!" Ric Flair said in frustration. "She got mad at Stephanie and now she wants to get back at her, that's what this is all about,"

"That's not exactly what's happening," Charlotte said and she looked at Sasha, "but part of that is true,"

Sasha's mouth fell open and Faith Star listened in closely, "You fell out with Stephanie?" Sasha asked delighted that Charlotte had finally come to her senses about Hunter's ex-wife.

"I decided to do a series about myself, which is the idea I bought to WWE. It's called Charlotte's Confessions and I tell a bunch of stuff about my life. When I told Stephanie about it, she loved it and she said she'd be happy to produce it for me,"

"So, what happened?" Sasha asked.

"I decided that I didn't want to be under Stephanie's influence anymore and she didn't understand why not. The Truth is, ever since I saw Finn Balor get healed, I've thought more and more about Seth and the God girls and I felt, for the first time, like I was on the wrong side," Charlotte explained.

"Did you tell this to Steph?" Sasha asked.

"No, I didn't tell her about that part, I just told her I'd rather she didn't have anything to do with my series. Then she said it was in direct competition to the Black Heart Diaries and I said a little competition never hurt anyone. Then, she just stopped talking and then she finally told me to think about it and then talk to her again," Charlotte smiled, "It was then that I realised I didn't have to run anything passed Stephanie if I didn't want to and that's when I talked to WWE management,"

Sasha smiled, "So you're not scared of the big bad McMahon?" she asked Charlotte.

Charlotte shook her head, "No, I'm scared of what might happen if I keep working with her. It was her idea for me to cause a rift between Bianca and Montez Ford. I look at that couple with so much respect now, I wouldn't want to do anything to hurt them and I know that with DX running things again, they'd be in great hands. I wouldn't even be having this conversation with you if Seth and Bianca didn't finally get through to me. Why would I want to war against your husband and his friends? It just doesn't make sense to me anymore and if I can break free of Stephanie's evil claws, then maybe I can inspire her family to do the same. Jeff is miserable and Beth Hardy is in so deep she's going to need a harness to pull her out. Don't even get me started on Bayley; sometimes I look at her and I see nothing in her eyes. Stephanie's got such a hold on her, I don't want that to me be Banks," Charlotte said. "I just want to be free. I want this whole thing with AJ, Omega, Kendrick Alexander and Beth Hardy to just stop,"

Faith Star looked up at Charlotte and Sasha felt something move in her belly. She wasn't sure what it was but after spending so much time with Seth while he was in prayer, she knew it was something spiritual. Faith Star already knew what it was; it was the Holy Spirit and He had business to take care of. After one look at Charlotte Flair, Faith Star didn't need to be persuaded, she knew exactly what was going on. She turned to Sasha who was being stirred by the Holy Spirit.

"I think Ms Charlotte wants you to pray for her," Faith Star said to Sasha. "Do you know the Salvation Prayer?"

Sasha nodded, "Yeah, I've heard Seth say it like a million times," she said and she looked at Charlotte. "Is that what you're saying, you want to come to Jesus?"

"I already believe in Jesus, I just want to re-dedicate my life to him," Charlotte said. "I don't want to walk on the sidelines of my faith anymore, I want to be like Seth and the God girls, I want to be on the frontline of faith, like you and Seth will be when you go to Saudi Arabia,"

"You know about that?" Sasha asked surprised and Charlotte nodded.

"Yeah, Bianca told me all about your assignment with the Royal Prince of Saudi Arabia. It sounds so dangerous and exciting, it fits you perfectly Boss," Charlotte said smiling.

"Yeah, I can't wait. But that's not for a few weeks, let's get you right with the Lord then we can talk more about assignments and working for the Lord," Sasha said, saying what the Holy Spirit was telling her to say.

Sasha led Charlotte in a prayer of dedication to the Lord and Ric Flair watched as his daughter was filled with the Holy Spirit and suddenly, he wasn't afraid anymore. The Lord filled the meeting room with Himself and Ric had to surrender to Him and he stopped worrying about his daughter's wellbeing. It was now clear that God had his daughter's life in His hands. Ric exhaled deeply and he rested feeling so much peace.

"Amen," Sasha said and when she opened her eyes and looked at Charlotte, it was like looking at one of the God girls after Seth had prayed for them. Charlotte's spirit was renewed and she was strong in the Lord and full of power and virtue, courtesy of the Holy Spirit. This probably meant that Charlotte was going to get a Gift from God soon and Sasha couldn't wait to find out what God was going to give to her.

Well done Sasha, God said to Banks and Sasha recognised His voice for the first time.

"You heard Him," Faith Star said to Sasha, she knew God's voice too.

Sasha nodded, "Yeah, He said well done," she replied and Faith Star nodded.

"So it's official: you're one of us now. Welcome to the team!" Faith Star said and Sasha rejoiced with Charlotte Flair, her first disciple, which meant that Charlotte and the God girls were now on the same side.

"Welcome back to the family of God!" Sasha declared and she remembered what Hunter told her when she asked him what it was like when his daughters got their Gifts from God. Hunter said that Lisa and Aurora got their Gifts from God when DX went to war against the McMahon family. So, as far as Sasha and Faith Star were concerned, it was no coincidence, that on the day that Charlotte declared herself to be against Stephanie McMahon and for DX getting WWE back, that she would also re-dedicate herself to the Lord."There's about to be another war between the DX and the McMahon family," Sasha said to Charlotte and Ric Flair. "We better get to the Sandbox and tell Hunter and Shawn what you told me, plus Seth and the God girls gotta know what happened just now,"

Faith Star smiled, "Please, they already know," she said, "this was a Divine setup if I ever saw one,"

Sasha took Faith Star's hand and left WWE HQ with Charlotte and Ric Flair after calling Seth and telling him that she was bringing Charlotte Flair back to the Sandbox. Little did Sasha know, that going back to the Sandbox wasn't going to be as easy as that. There was no doubt in Sasha's mind that Charlotte had made the right choice but that choice was about to shake the state of Connecticut from side-to-side.
