Chat Noir's POV
"Where is she?" I muttered. "Could something have happened to her? She hasn't responded to any of my texts yet."
My Lady told me to wait for her outside the club, but it was unlike her to not show up. She would at least tell me if she couldn't make or was going to be late. Tikki and Plagg checked on me, and I assured them everything was alright. But to be honest, I was freaking out. I know Ladybug, and she wouldn't stand me up. I figured I'd stay until the club closes, then go home. I would call her tomorrow and find out what happened.
Plagg's stereos, as always, made the ground shake. He always had a thing for being over dramatic. I looked at Plagg from the doorway and chuckled. I leaned my back against the metal and crossed my arms. The music was so loud that I felt like dancing myself. After all, I am Chat Noir, and cats are very flexible and always land on their feet.
I closed my eyes for a second to feel the music vibrate throughout my body. I felt something against my mouth, and someone pull me into the darkness. I struggled as best I could, but little by little my strength left me until...
I slowly opened my eyes. My vision was blurry at first but went back to normal within a few second. My eyes scanned the area. There was light, but it was dim. I tried to move, but my hands were tied, literally. I was sitting on a wooden chair, and a table was in front of me. It was gray and somewhat metallic. Another chair sat across from mine. Just then, I heard footsteps, and prepared for the worst. But, the worst had already happened.
"Greeting, Chat Noir," a voice greeted.
Oh, no.
I looked up.
"So, instead of challenging, you've resorted to kidnapping," I scowled. "That low even for you, dude."
He chuckled. "Well, would you have accepted my invitation if I asked."
"Absolutely not," I shook my head.
"Then there's your reason."
He pulled out the chair in front of me and sat down. He folded his hands and looked directly at me. "Don't worry, it's just the two of us," he grinned.
"Yeah, that makes me feel so much better," I said with sarcasm in my voice. "Now, what do you want?"
"I thought it was obvious," he raised a brow. "You."
"I've hold you before that I would never join your little gang! My place is at Club Miraculous and that is where I am going to stay!"
He smiled. "Are you speaking for yourself or Ladybug?"
I flinched. Is that why she didn't show up?
"What did you to her?" I screamed.
"Relax dear boy, I haven't done anything to her. I assure you, her absence is all her doing," he shrugged.
He went on about how she stood me up. How she didn't take me seriously as a dancer. Those were all lies. He just wanted to get in my head. After all, that's what he does. It's his favorite thing to do.
"Your mind tricks won't work on me!" I roared.
"Are you sure?" he smirked.
I felt chill run up my spine. He stood from his seat and walked over to me. He grabbed my face and made me stare into his eyes.
"She thinks you're a joke," he said in stern voice. "Why else would she push you aside? She hasn't accepted your feelings, now has she? Why do you bother? For all you know, she wants to break your heart. She also doesn't trust you. If she did, she would've told you who she really was."
"We keep our identities a secret for our own safety. It keeps us safe from you, and I believe in Ladybug," I glared.
He blinked, then snapped his fingers. I felt something wrap around my mouth. It muffled my screams.
"I really didn't want to do this, but you leave me no choice," he sighed. "Ever wonder how I get my Akumas to follow me? It's not just from their emotions, I, how you say, make them want to serve me. And congratulations, Chat Noir, you'll be my most prized Akuma."
My eyes widened. I tried to break free, but I couldn't. With all my strength, I wanted to get out! I could see a box in his hand as he placed it in front of me. I turned my head, but someone forced me to look at the box. The last thing I remember is calling for Ladybug.
