Long ago, the Crimson Dragon had a special seventh Signer called the Crimson Guardian. Legends say that the Crimson Guardian was the one who led the remaining Signers against the God Dragons, five creatures that were more evil and destructive than the Earthbound Immortals and Meklord Emperors COMBINED. Now the current Crimson Guardian has to fight for everyone's safety.

Chapter 10: A Nightmare Comes True, Part 1! Rensho Kidnaps Red-Eyes!

The other end of the portal appeared, and Michael's group finally arrived at their new destination.

Michael - "Well everyone. Welcome to, or in the case of Akiza and Sherry welcome back to, Neo Domino City!"

Everyone minus Akiza and Sherry stared in awe at the cityscape around them.

Jaden - "Wow. So, this is what the future has in store for us."

Alfred - "Indeed it does master Jaden."

Alfred walked over to the group, joined by his brother Ellsworth, the twins Leo and his sister Luna, and Akiza's parents.

Hideo - "Glad to see that everyone's ok."

Michael then noticed that a few people were missing.

Michael - "Where are Yusei, Jack, and Crow?"

Setsuko - "Trudge stopped by earlier, saying that he and the police needed their help with this one criminal they had trouble catching."

Leo - "Yeah. According to Trudge the perp said that he'd only surrender after dueling the three of them. We told them that the rest of us would say hi to you guys for them when they left."

Akiza - "Alright then."

Sherry noticed Michael's thoughtful expression.

Sherry - "Something wrong Michael?"

Michael - "Call it a gut feeling of mine."

? - "Michael!"

Michael suddenly heard someone call out for him. He then turns around to see a police officer's duel runner racing down the street before screeching to a stop in front of him. The officer then removes their helmet to reveal themselves as...

Akiza/Sherry/Luna/Leo - "Trudge?!"

Michael - "What's the problem Trudge?"

Trudge - "I'm guessing the others told u about me asking Yusei, Jack, and Crow for help with a crazy driver out on the highway?"

Michael - "Yes. I don't like where this is going..."

Trudge - "It was a trap! Rensho forced the three of them into a 3-v-1 handicap duel in an effort to lure you out! And the worst part is... Rensho's winning."

Suddenly, Michael's Duel Runner appeared, carrying a Duel Board, helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads along with it. It was then quickly followed by Akiza, Sherry, and Leo's Duel Runners and 2 normal grey Duel Runners.

Michael - "Akiza, Sherry, Alexis, Kari, Skye, Leo, Luna, Yugi, and Jaden. You guys are with me and Trudge. Everyone else will be escorted into the manor by Alfred and Ellsworth and watch the sequence of events from there. Let's move, move, move people!"

Michael then walked to his Runner and picked up the Duel Board, helmet, and pads, then walked over to Skye and handed them to her.

Skye - "For me?"

Michael - "If you can ride a Duel Board in Link Vrains, then you can do the same in the real world."

Skye - "Right!"

While Alfred and Ellsworth led everyone else into the manor, the rest of the group that was with Michael and Trudge got suited up.

Michael - "Lead the way Trudge. We'll be right behind you."

Trudge - "Got it."

Trudge then leads the small group with him towards the highway. Before reaching the highway, Michael broke off from the group.

Akiza - "Michael?"

Michael - "Just keep moving. I'll see about trying to keep Rensho from doing any severe harm to Yusei, Jack, and Crow."

Michael sped along the smaller side highway, quickly catching up and seeing Rensho on his Duel Runner.

Michael – "Good. The duel's still going on. Gladis. D-Wheel Gundam Flight Mode please."

Gladis - "D-Wheel Gundam Flight Mode activated."

Michael quickly donned his D-Wheel's Gundam mech, followed by quietly moving under the highway, ready to assist his friends if need be. He then brings up a screen, showing the end of the duel.

Michael - "So Jack and Crow have been knocked out already. At least that means I won't have to deal with saving three friends, just one."

Michael's blood then ran cold when he looked further along the highway.

Michael - "That's way too tight of a corner for Yusei to take without proper precaution. And Rensho's ending the duel now!"

Just as Michael said it, Rensho's final attack knocked out the rest of Yusei's Life Points, causing Satellite's Shooting Star to lose control of his Runner and crash through the giant glass wall.

Michael - "Get the glass Red-Eyes! I got Yusei and his Runner!"

Red-Eyes - "Ok!"

Red-Eyes quickly used her powers to catch every single glass shard in the air, then repaired the giant glass panel like Yusei's Runner had never hit it at all. Meanwhile, Michael flew up and over the glass wall, carrying Yusei and his Runner like they were as light as a feather, then gently placed them back down on the highway.

Michael - "You ok there Yusei?

Yusei - "Just fine thanks to you and Red-Eyes."

Red-Eyes - "How about your Runner then?"

Yusei - "It should be good for now. Michael, Bruno, and I can check it over after you two take care of Rensho here."

Rensho - "Well, well. Seems like you somehow survived. Guess I have to give credit where it's due then."

Rensho then gave an evil smirk.

Rensho - "But then again, you've always survived by sheer dumb luck. Now then Michael. You and I are going to have a little duel. You win, then you get these two back."

Michael's eyes went wide as Rensho pulled out 2 giant spheres behind him, each one holding an adult woman in it. One woman had sea blue hair, while the other woman had black hair like Michael's.

Michael - "Clair! Michelle! Let my cousins go Rensho! They haven't done anything to you, so leave them out of this!"

Rensho - "On the contrary, my dear Michael. The bond you have with your sisters and cousins is so strong, that the only way to truly test it is by having the six of them watch as you squirm in despair and agony."

Rensho laughed hysterically at saying that.

Rensho - "Anyway. You win, you get these two back. But if I win, I'll give them back in exchange for something I want."

Michael - "What do you want then?"

Rensho - "Her."

Rensho pointed right at Red-Eyes, who Michael quickly moved behind him.

Michael - "You won't lay a finger on Red-Eyes."

Rensho - "That's too bad. Cause if you do lose this duel, you still get your cousins back, but in return I get MY bride back. And there's nothing you can do about it."

Michael growled in anger and annoyance.

Red-Eyes - "Fine."

Michael - "What?!"

Red-Eyes - "If Rensho wins, then I'll become his wife."

The others couldn't believe what they were hearing, especially Michael himself.

Michael - "Are you crazy Red-Eyes?! Do you even hear yourself right now?!"

Red-Eyes - "I Don't Want You To Get Hurt Again!"

Michael was stunned silent by Red-Eyes' outburst.

Red-Eyes - "When Rensho attacked you in Link Vrains, I just stood there. I felt so weak and powerless, not being able to assist you at all. That's why, in the off chance that you DO lose this duel, then I'll give myself over to Rensho and willing become his obedient wife."

Michael took a deep breath, then slowly let it out.

Michael - "Fine then. But if I find out that he harmed a single hair on your pretty little head, I'll bust down the front doors and take you back, regardless of how much you protest it. Ok?"

Red-Eyes fought her hardest to hold back her tears, truly happy that Michael cared so much for her.

Red-Eyes - "Ok."

Michael petted her head.

Michael - "Good girl. Now come on. we have a duel to win."

Red-Eyes - "Right!"

Red-Eyes returned to the main deck while Michael sped towards Rensho who also sped along down the road.

Rensho - "Well then. Guess I don't need these 2 anymore."

Rensho discarded the spheres holding Clair and Michelle, causing both women to fall towards the sea.

Michael - "No!"

Suddenly, 2 dragons appeared out of nowhere and caught Clair and Michelle.

Michael - "Lady Tidal! Lady Redux! Amazing timing you 2."

Tidal - "Not at all Michael. Now just let me and Redux worry about our mistresses. You and Red-Eyes worry about Rensho for now."

Michael - "Right. Anyway. Duel disk, set! D-Gazer, set! Activating Speed World Neo!"

Gladis – "Augmented Reality – Vision Link established. Field Spell Speed World Neo, Multi-Deck, and Joint-Turn Systems activated. Auto-Pilot engaged."

Michael/Rensho – "Duel!"

Michael – LP: 4,000, Hand(s): 5/5/5

Rensho – LP: 12,000, Hand: 5

Turn 1: Michael

Michael - "I'll start things off. I use my Scale 1 Stargazer Sorceress and Scale 8 Timegazer Sorceress to set the Pendulum Scale!"

The two columns of light appeared on each side of Michael. Timegazer and Stargazer flew up into the pillars.

Michael – "Now I'm able to special summon as many monsters as I want, as long as their levels are between 2 and 7. Swing, Pendulum of the Soul! Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Come forth everyone!"

Michael pendulum summoned Red-Eyes Black Dragon, Debris Dragon, Dark Resonator, Crimson Resonator, Red Gardna, Vice Dragon, Gagaga Sorceress, Gagaga Girl, Performapal Whip Snake, Performapal Skeeter Skimmer, and Performapal Hip Hippo.

Red-Eyes Black Dragon – Lv. 7, ATK: 2,400, DEF: 2,000

Debris Dragon – Lv. 4, ATK: 1,000, DEF: 2,000

Dark Resonator – Lv. 3, ATK: 1,300, DEF: 300

Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon – Lv. 9, ATK: 2,400, DEF: 2,000

Michael – "Not only that, but Red-Eyes' effect allows her to gain 300 ATK for each Dragon-Type in my grave. I currently have one, so that's 300 additional ATK!"

Red-Eyes's ATK: 2,400 + 300 = 2,700

Michael – "I'm also allowed to Pendulum summon once for each deck I have. Since I have four decks, that's four Pendulum summons per turn. Pendulum Summon! Appear! Level 7! Dragon with wondrous and beautiful dichromic eyes! Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!"

Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon – Lv. 7, ATK: 2,500, DEF: 2,000

Michael – "But why stop there. I activate Gagaga Girl's effect! By selecting a Gagaga Sorceress on my field, Gagaga Girl's level becomes the same as hers!"

Gagaga Girl's Lv. 3 + 1 = 4

Michael – "Now I activate the spell card Fusion Overlay! This card lets me select two monsters in my hand or on my field, and I can perform a Fusion and an Xyz summon using the selected monsters. I fuse Gagaga Sorceress and Gagaga Girl! Dichromatic eyes that illuminate the dark night! Become one with two different colored eyes and point to a new path! Fusion Summon! Appear! Level 8! Starving Venom Fusion Dragon!"

Starving Venom Fusion Dragon – Lv. 8, ATK: 2,800, DEF: 2,000

Michael – "Now I'll use them to Xyz Summon! Come forth! Rank 4! Soul of the Eternal Goddess! Bring the Light of Hope to the physical plane, and let it become your messenger of light! Number 39, Queen of Wishes, Utopia!"

Utopia – Rk. 4, ATK: 2,500, DEF: 2,000, Overlay Units: 2

Michael – "I'm not done yet! I tune Level 4 Debris Dragon with Level 3 Performapal Hip Hippo! Spread those wondrous and beautiful wings, and strike down our enemies at light speed! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 7! Clear Wing Synchro Dragon!"

Clear Wing Synchro Dragon – Lv. 7, ATK: 2,500, DEF: 2,000

Michael – "Red-Eyes's effect activates!"

Red-Eyes's ATK: 2,700 + 300 = 3,000

Michael – "Now I overlay Level 4 Whip Snake and Skeeter Skimmer! Fangs of pitch-black darkness…rise up against the foolish oppression! Descend now! Xyz Summon! Come forth! Rank 4! Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon!"

Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon – Rk. 4, ATK: 2,500, DEF: 2,000, Overlay Units: 2

Michael - "I tune Level 3 Dark Resonator with Level 5 Vice Dragon! Clustering wishes will become a new shining star! Become the path its light shines upon! Synchro Summon! Level 8! Take flight, Stardust Dragon!"

Stardust Dragon – Lv. 8, ATK: 2,500, DEF: 2,000

Michael - "Red-Eyes' effect activates!"

Red-Eyes's ATK: 3,000 + 300 = 3,300

Michael – "I tune Level 2 Crimson Resonator with Level 4 Red Gardna! My crimson dragon shines upon the infernal path! Synchro Summon! Level 6! Come forth! Red Rising Dragon!"

(2 + 4 = 6)

Red Rising Dragon – Lv. 6, ATK: 2,100, DEF: 1,600

Michael – "I activate Red Rising's effect! When she's synchro summoned, I can target a "Resonator" monster in my grave, and special summon them back to my field! Return Crimson Resonator!"

Crimson Resonator returned to the field.

Michael - "Now I tune Level 2 Crimson Resonator with Level 6 Red Rising! The cry of the champion shakes heaven and earth. Let the conqueress' unique power be carved into your body! Synchro Summon! Level 8! The raging soul… Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend!"

(2 + 6 = 8)

Michael - "I'll end my turn with that."

Rensho - "My turn! Draw! I summon Dragon Wise Core!"

Dragon Wise Core – Lv. 1, ATK: 0, DEF: 0

Rensho - "I then set 2 cards and end my turn with that!"

Michael - "Each of my three hands have nothing to help me right now. But perhaps this draw will turn things in my favor."

? - "Yusei!"

The group looked back to see 7 more Duel Runners catching up to them.

Yusei - "Bruno?!"

Jack - "Teams Ragnarök and Unicorn too?!"

Crow - "What are you guys doing here?"

Halldor - "To help you all cheer on Michael of course. He's going to need all the support he can get."

Bruno then saw who Michael's opponent was.

Bruno - "Yusei. Is that-"

Yusei - "Rensho? Yeah, it is."

Bruno - "Just great. I still remember how much trouble you guys told me he gave Michael in the past."

Dragan - "I really don't see how this Rensho can truly cause Michael so much trouble."

Jack - "Then try Yusei, Crow, and I all losing to Rensho...at the exact same time."

Bruno and both trios were completely stunned at hearing that.

Jean - "Wait?! You're saying that all three of you lost to the same guy at the exact same time?!"

Crow - "Yep. But it's mostly due to Rensho's Dragon Meklord Wisel. The three of us just couldn't find a way to get rid of it before we got taken out."

Yusei - "As far as we're all concerned, Michael and Red-Eyes are the only ones that can take down Rensho and his Dragon Wisel right now."

Michael – LP: 4,000, Hand(s): 1/2/0

Rensho – LP: 12,000, Hand: 3

Turn 3: Michael

Michael - "My turn! Draw! Bingo! I activate the spell Card Of Sanctity! This lets us draw till all 4 of our hands have 6 cards each!"

Both duelists drew till their combined 4 hands each had 6 cards in them.

Michael - "I use all 3 normal summons to summon not 1, but 3 copies of Majestic Dragon!"

Majestic Dragon – Lv. 1, ATK: 0, DEF: 0 (x3)

Michael - "Then I activate 2 copies of Double Summon! This lets me normal summon 2 more times this turn! I summon Stardust Xiaolong and Red Mirror!"

Stardust Xiaolong – Lv. 1, ATK: 100, DEF: 100

Red Mirror – Lv. 1 , ATK: 0, DEF: 0

Michael - "I tune my first Level 1 Majestic Dragon with Level 1 Red Mirror and Level 8 Scarlight Red Archfiend! Polished, lone light! Become the true high-ruler and illuminate the earth! Shine your light! Synchro Summon! Level 10! Grand soul, Majestic Red Dragon!"

Michael - "And finally I tune my third and final Level 1 Majestic Dragon with Level 9 Red-Eyes Darkness! Dark Queen of Dragons! Reach towards the cosmos, and obtain the power to create a new miracle! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 10! Guardian's ultimate miracle, Majestic Dark Dragon!"

Majestic Dark Dragon – Lv. 10, ATK: 3,700, DEF: 3,000

Michael - "Red-Eyes' effect activates!"

Red-Eyes' ATK: 3,300 + 900 = 4,200

Michael - "Now I activate the spell Dragon Immune and Synchro Recall. These 2 spells let me bring back at least 1 monster that was used for a Synchro summon, and protect all of my Dragons from being destroyed and targeted by effects! Then I'll use Synchro Recall to bring back Scarlight Red Archfiend, Stardust, Stardust Xiaolong, and Red-Eyes Darkness! Then I activate the Quick-Play spell Majestic Shield! This spell let's all "Majestic" Synchro monsters stay on my field until my opponent's next End Phase! However, during the End Phase of my opponent's next turn, this spell sends them all to my grave, and my opponent gains Life Points equal to their combined ATK. And with that I end my turn."

Turn 4: Rensho

Rensho - "My turn! Draw! I activate my face-down! The spell Core Destruction! This spell destroys a "Core" monster on my field, then I gain Life Points equal to the ATK of the "Meklord" monster summoned by the destroyed "Core" monster's effect when the Meklord Union monster fully comes together! So say goodbye to Dragon Wise Core! And through Dragon Wise Core's effect, I can special summon Dragon Meklord Wisel Infinity..."

Dragon Meklord Wisel Infinity – Lv. 1, ATK: 0, DEF: 0

Rensho - "...Dragon Wisel Top..."

Dragon Wisel Top – Lv. 1, ATK: 500, DEF: 0

Rensho - "...Dragon Wisel Attack..."

Rensho - "...Dragon Wisel Guard..."

Rensho - "...and Dragon Wisel Carrier!"

Rensho - "Now Dragon Wisel gains ATK equal to the combined ATK of its other parts, and I gain that same amount in Life Points!"

Dragon Meklord Wisel Infinity's ATK: 0 + 2,500 = 2,500

Rensho's LP: 12,000 + 2,500 = 14,500

Rensho - "Now I activate my other face-down! The Quick-Play Trap Spell Blocker!"

Michael - "Spell Blocker?!"

Rensho - "That's right! Until the end of this turn, one spell on my opponent's field has its effects negated! And I choose Dragon Immune!"

Jaden - "Ok that's seriously not a good sign."

Rensho - "Now Dragon Wisel! Absorb Red-Eyes Darkness!"

Tendrils came out of the Dragon Wisel's core and ensnared Red-Eyes in their grip.

Michael - "Red-Eyes!"

Red-Eyes - "Michael!"

Michael desperately reached out to take Red-Eyes back, but just as he reached her, she was pulled out of his grasp. Michael continued watching in complete despair as Red-Eyes was fully absorbed by Dragon Wisel.

Akiza - "Oh no..."

Michael - "I... I failed..."

He looked towards the ground in stunned silence.

Michael - "I'm sorry Red-Eyes. I'm so, so sorry."

Rensho suddenly began laughing hysterically.

Rensho - "Now then Dragon Wisel! Use the power of Michael's beloved queen, and let it be what leads to his own destruction! I activate Dragon Wisel's effects! When it absorbs a Dragon-Type, not only is its ATK increased by the Dragon's original ATK..."

Dragon Wisel's ATK: 2,500 + 2,400 = 4,900

Rensho - "...but it also gains the right to an additional attack and absorption of another Dragon! Sadly those 2 effects don't stack on till the start of my next turn. However, it's fourth effect does apply right now! And that's as long as a Dragon is absorbed, Dragon Wisel can attack my opponent directly!"

Everyone else gasps in complete horror at hearing Dragon Wisel's fourth effect.

Crow - "That's how we lost to him in the first place!"

Rensho - "Dragon Meklord Wisel Infinity! Use your newly acquired power to destroy Michael and end this duel!"

Luna - "I can't watch this..."

Akiza/Sherry/Alexis/Kari/Skye - "Snap out of it Michael!"

Everyone watches in horror as Michael just floats in the air and does nothing to react.

Yusei - "Michael needs to find a way out of this nightmare situation quickly! Otherwise, he won't just lose the duel!"

Everyone quickly understands the gravity of the situation as Yusei explains it.

Yusei - "He'll lose everything!"

Custom Cards:

Majestic Dark Dragon

Level: 10, ATK/DEF: 3,700/3,000, Monster Types: Dragon/Synchro/Effect

Description: "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon" + "Majestic Dragon"

This card gains 500 ATK and an additional attack for each Dragon-Type monster on your field and in your grave. Once per turn, target Monsters on your opponent's field, up to the number of Dragon-Type Monsters on your field, negate their effects until the End Phase of this turn, and activate 1 of their effects as this card's effect once this turn. During the End Phase: Target 1 "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon" in your grave, return this card from the field to the Extra Deck, then special summon that target. This effect can only be negated if you have another "Red-Eyes" Monster on your field. For each additional attack taken off this card, it gains 1,000 ATK.

Majestic Shield – Quick-Play Spell Card

-All "Majestic" Synchro monsters are allowed to stay on your field until the End Phase of your opponent's next turn. During the End Phase of your opponent's next turn: Send all targeted monsters to your grave, then your opponent gains LP equal to the combined ATK of those monsters.

Core Destruction – Spell Card

-Destroy a "Core" monster on your field, then after you summon a "Meklord" monster due to that destroyed "Core" monster's effect: Gain LP equal to the ATK that "Meklord" monster gained.

Spell Blocker – Quick-Play Trap Card

-Target a spell card on your opponent's field: Until the End Phase of this turn, the targeted spell has its effects negated.
