Long ago, the Crimson Dragon had a special seventh Signer called the Crimson Guardian. Legends say that the Crimson Guardian was the one who led the remaining Signers against the God Dragons, five creatures that were more evil and destructive than the Earthbound Immortals and Meklord Emperors COMBINED. Now the current Crimson Guardian has to fight for everyone's safety.

Chapter 11: A Nightmare Comes True, Part 2! Michael and Red-Eyes' Soul Bond!

Michael was floating in a single spot in the air.

Michael - "What have I done?"

The others continued to yell at him, telling him to snap out of his trance and gat back in the duel.

Michael - "I'm sorry Red-Eyes... I've failed you."

Rensho laughed hysterically at his seemingly easy victory.

Michael - "I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm sorry..."

Suddenly he was whacked across the back of his head, followed by hearing a female voice yell at him.

-Whack-

Michael - "Ow!"

? - "You damn idiot!"

Michael looked up to see who had hit him in the head.

Michael - "Dark?!"

Michael then saw that Dark had been crying for a good bit now."

Dark - "Please..."

Michael - "Huh?"

Dark - "Please keep fighting! I know you have the power to save my queen! Please don't quit on her!"

Michael saw that Dark was crying her heart out. He then walked over and hugged her.

Michael - "Thanks Dark. I just needed a reminder of why I'm fighting in the first place."

Dark looked and saw that Michael was smiling. She then smiled too. Michael then suddenly surprised her with a kiss on the lips.

Michael - "When this duel ends with our victory, you WILL tell Red-Eyes and the rest of the girls about your feelings for me."

Dark - "How long have you known?"

Michael - "Since we first met. But I kept quiet because I wanted you to be the one to admit your feelings for me first."

Dark was truly touched at Michael's kindness and honesty.

Dark - "Thank you Michael."

Michael - "Not at all Dark. Now come on. We got a queen to save and a duel to win."

Dark - "Right!"

Michael then quickly took in his surroundings.

Michael - "Guess that was all in my mind then."

Rensho - "Now Michael! It's time to die!"

Michael then quickly brought his attention to Rensho, whose monster, Dragon Meklord Emperor Wisel, was currently attacking him with 4,900 ATK.

Dark - "Hurry Michael. Time is of the essence."

Michael quickly examined his hands while remembering Dark's words.

Michael - "Time... Time... Just what does she mean by that?"

He then quickly found the answer in a single monster.

Michael - "Sorry Rensho! But you're gonna have to wait another turn to beat me!"

Rensho - "Just what are you-"

Michael - "I activate Battle Fader's effect! When she's in my hand while I'm being attacked directly, I can special summon her, and your Battle Phase automatically comes to an end!"

Battle Fader – Lv. 1, ATK: 0, DEF: 0

A small girl with gray hair carrying a very big pendulum appeared on Michael's field.

Michael - "Sure she's banished when she leaves the field, but that a small price to pay."

Everyone sighed in relief at Michael avoiding a near disaster.

Girls - "That was too close."

Rensho growled in annoyance.

Rensho - "Fine then. You got another turn. Better make it count. I end my turn."

Michael - "Majestic Shield's other effect activates. Majestic Red, Majestic Star, and Majestic Dark are all sent to the grave, and you gain LP equal to their combined ATK."

Bruno - "Completely forget about that card."

Rensho - "The ATK's are 4,000, 3,800, and 3,700. So then I gain 11,500 LP."

(3,700 + 3,800 = 7,500 + 4,000 = 11,500)

Rensho's LP: 14,500 + 11,500 = 26,000

Michael - "Thanks for the hint there Dark."

Dark - "Not at all Michael."

Michael looked at his decks as he prepared to draw.

Michael - "There's two cards in my decks that can truly turn things in my favor. Here's hoping I can get one of them right now."

Michael – LP: 4,000, Hand(s): 3/5/4

Rensho – LP: 26,000, Hand: 5

Turn 5: Michael

Michael - "My turn! Draw!"

Michael looked and saw that he got one of the cards he needed.

Michael - "Bingo. I activate the spell Third Level Synchro! First, I target 2 synchro monsters on my field with the same level. And I target Stardust and Scarlight Red Archfiend, both who are level 8. Then I can special summon a Tuner and at least one non-Tuner from my deck, hand, or grave whose combined levels equals the level shared between the targeted synchro monsters. I special summon Junk Synchron and Turret Warrior! Now I tune Level 3 Junk Synchron with Level 5 Turret Warrior! Darkened squalls, become the wings that soar from resolved hope! Synchro Summon! Level 8! Soar, Black-Winged Dragon!"

Michael - "Now I activate the spell Synchro Pendulum! This spell lets me pendulum summon as many synchro monsters as I want, but only if their level is within the Pendulum Scale. Since my Pendulum scale is 2-7, all level 2-7 Synchro monsters can be pendulum summoned by this card's effect. So I pendulum summon Black Rose Dragon, Ancient Fairy Dragon, and Power Tool Dragon!"

Michael - "I tune Level 1 Red Nova with Level 7 Power Tool Dragon! The Courage and Power to protect the Future of the Planet is a Revolution! Synchro Summon! Level 8! Evolve, Life Stream Dragon!"

Michael - "And that's all for me."

Everyone else was surprised that Michael didn't even bother to put a face-down on the field. Realization then came to Yusei.

Yusei - "What if... That's what he wants to do against Rensho?"

Michael – LP: 4,000, Hand(s): 3/5/5

Rensho – LP: 26,000, Hand: 5

Turn 6: Rensho

Rensho - "My turn! Draw! Dragon Wisel! Attack Michael directly!"

Michael stayed where he was, calm and collected as Dragon Wisel got closer.

Rensho - "I Did It! I Won!"

Dark - "Michael!"

Michael then smirked.

Michael - "Sorry to burst your bubble Rensho. But this duel is far from over."

Rensho - "Say what now?!"

Michael - "I activate One Hundred Left from my hand by its Quick-Play Effect! Due to being in my hand when Dragon Wisel's attack would've knocked my Life Points to 0, this stops them at 100, and all damage I take from this point forward instead becomes Life Counters on it. So while I do lose 3,900 Life Points, the remaining 1,000 damage becomes 10 Life Counters."

Michael's LP: 4,000 - 3,900 = 100

Life Counters: 0 + 10 = 10 (1,000)

Rensho - "No! No! No! Curse my misery that is that blasted spell! I end my turn then."

Michael - "My turn! Draw!"

Michael saw the strategy before him as he drew the final card he needed to get Red-Eyes back.

Michael - "Jack! Don't mind if I borrow your Burning Soul for a bit?"

Jack - "Not at all Michael! My power is your power too!"

Michael - "Thanks! First I activate Synchro Recall! With this I bring back Dark Resonator and Red Nova!"

Dark Resonator – Lv. 3, ATK: 1,300, DEF: 300

Michael's body was then surrounded by a crimson aura.

Michael - "Burning Soul! I Double Tune Level 3 Dark Resonator And Level 1 Red Nova With Level 8 Scarlight Red Archfiend! The Queen And The Devil, Here And Now, Shall Become As One! A Raging Spirit! Lift Up The Very Cries Of Creation Itself! Synchro Summon! Come Forth! Level 12! Red Nova Dragon!"

Red Nova Dragon – Lv. 12, ATK: 3,500, DEF: 3,000

Michael - "Now I activate Synchro Recall again, bringing Dark Resonator and Red Nova back to the field again! Then I tune Level 1 Red Nova with Level 1 Battle Fader! Clustering wishes will call out a new speed's horizon! Become the path its light shines upon! Synchro Summon! The power of hope! Synchro Tuner, Formula Synchron!"

Formula Synchron – Lv. 2, ATK: 200, DEF: 1,500

Michael - "Due to Formula Synchron being successfully summoned, I can draw a card from each of my decks. I then set 2 cards and end my turn."

Michael – LP: 100, Hand(s): 5/6/6

Rensho – LP: 26,000, Hand: 6

Life Counters: 10 (1,000)

Turn 8: Rensho

Rensho - "My turn! Draw! I think I'll change things up this time! Dragon Wisel! Absorb Stardust Dragon!"

The tendrils made their way towards Stardust.

Michael - "You already took Red-Eyes from me. I refuse to let you take anyone else!"

(Insert Music: Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds OST – Clear Mind)

Michael - "I refuse to let the past repeat itself! I beat you before Rensho, and I'll do it again!"

Michael was soon surrounded by a pink aura.

Michael - "Clear Mind! I tune Level 2 Synchro Tuner, Formula Synchron with Level 8 Synchro Monster, Stardust Dragon!"

The pink aura soon surrounded Stardust as well.

(2 + 8 = 10)

Michael - "Clustering crystal dreams open the door to a new evolution! Become the path its light shines upon!"

The aura surrounding Michael and Stardust got thicker, almost completely blocking them from view.

Michael - "Accel Synchro!"

Michael and Stardust disappeared through the portal in front of them.

Rensho - "They're gone?!"

The portal then reappeared in front of Rensho.

Michael - "Be born! Level 10! Shooting Star Dragon!"

Shooting Star Dragon – Lv. 10, ATK: 3,300, DEF: 2,500

(Music Ends)

Michael - "And because Dragon Wisel lost its target, that cancels its effect from activating!"

Rensho - "Fine then! Dragon Wisel attacks you directly!"

Michael - "Then I'll counter with Red Nova's effect! By banishing her until this turn's End Phase, Dragon Wisel's attack is stopped."

Rensho - "Fool! I already know that Shooting Star has the exact same ability! All I need to do is make you use it, and victory is as good as mine! Dragon Wisel! Attack Michael for a second time!"

Michael, meanwhile, smirked as Dragon Wisel flew at him.

Michael - "Sorry Rensho. But you fell into my trap hook, line, and sinker."

Rensho - "Say what now?!"

Michael - "I activate my face-down! The Quick-Play spell Soul Reclaim!"

Bruno - "Soul Reclaim?"

Michael - "Thanks to this spell, all monsters on the field return to their original owner's control!"

Rensho - "But that means..."

Michael - "That means I get Red-Eyes back!"

Red-Eyes quickly forced her way out of Dragon Wisel's core. She then hugged Michael and kissed him.

Michael - "I was so worried about you."

Red-Eyes - "Sorry for worrying you."

Rensho - "Aw. How cute. Just don't celebrate for long, cause I'll be taking her back soon."

Michael - "You know Rensho. If you were smart enough to pay attention, you already lost your chance to do that."

Rensho - "Please explain that then."

Michael - "It's quite simple really. You said that for every dragon absorbed by your Dragon Wisel, it not only gains their ATK, but also the ability to attack me directly, as well as attack and absorb an additional time per dragon, right?"

Rensho - "Yeah. What about it?"

Realization then suddenly hit Rensho like a ton of bricks.

Rensho - "No way!"

Michael - "Yep. Cause I took Red-Eyes back, Dragon Wisel loses its power-up and the right to use its additional effects.

Dragon Wisel's ATK: 4,900 – 2,400 = 2,500

Rensho - "Why... I end my turn."

Red Nova returns to the field due to her effect.

Michael – LP: 100, Hand(s): 5/6/6

Rensho – LP: 26,000, Hand: 7

Michael - "My turn! Draw! Sorry Rensho. But this turn will be the final one of the duel."

Rensho - "And just what makes you say that?"

Michael - "This! I summon Stardust Xiaolong!"

Stardust Xiaolong – Lv. 1, ATK: 100, DEF: 100

Michael - "Ready to win this Red-Eyes?"

Red-Eyes - "Ready as always Michael."

Michael - "I tune Level 3 Dark Resonator with Level 1 Stardust Xiaolong! Lady Crimson! Grant your guardian the power to protect and create a new future with his own hands! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Synchro Tuner, Photon Pulse Dragon!"

Photon Pulse Dragon – Lv. 4, ATK: 1,900, DEF: 800

Halldor - "So this is Michael's Synchro Tuner."

Michael - "I activate Photon Pulse's effect! When she's successfully synchro summoned, I can choose a number between 1 and 3, and her level becomes the selected number. However, for the rest of the turn, I can't special summon anymore monster's, except for a synchro summon with Photon Pulse being used as the tuner for that summon. Good thing the Joint-Turn system makes it so that only the duel disk field I summoned Photon Pulse on is targeted by her effect. The number I select is 3! So Photon Pulse is now a Level 3 synchro tuner!"

Photon Pulse's Lv.: 4 - 1 = 3

Michael - "Let's go Red-Eyes, Photon Pulse!"

Red-Eyes/Photon Pulse - "Right!"

Michael was surrounded by a crimson and pink aura this time.

Michael - "Soul Clear Mind! I tune Level 3 Synchro Tuner, Photon Pulse with Level 9 Dragon-Type Monster, Red-Eyes Darkness! Dark Queen of Dragons! Race through the cosmos, and obtain the power of a new evolution!"

(3 + 9 = 12)

The aura around Michael and Red-Eyes got thicker.

Michael - "Soul Accel Synchro!"

Michael and Red-Eyes disappeared through a portal of crimson fire.

Bruno - "They're gone?!"

Michael then came back through the crimson fire portal with a brand-new monster, which took on a Red-Eyes version of Shooting Star.

Michael - "Come forth! Level 12! Dark Cosmic Queen of Dragons, Red-Eyes Dark Star Dragon!"

Red-Eyes Dark Star Dragon – Lv. 12, ATK: 4,200, DEF: 3,500

Sherry/Alexis/Kari/Skye - "She's beautiful..."

Michael - "I activate Synchro Recall! Return Red-Eyes!"

Red-Eyes returned to the field. Suddenly a data storm appeared out of nowhere.

Skye - "What's a data storm doing here in the real world?!"

Michael - "Mimi. Is that-?"

Mimi - "Mhmm. Ai was kind enough to give me the program he used to update Playmaker's skill during their one duel with Bohman. So I figured you would need it in case you dueled Rensho before the true final battle."

Michael - "Thanks Mimi."

Michael then rushed into the data storm.

Michael - "Cause my life points are 1,000 or less, I can activate my skill! Neo Soul Storm Access!"

Michael obtained a new monster from the data storm.

Michael - "Now I summon Cyberse Synchron!"

Cyberse Synchron – Lv. 1, ATK: 100, DEF: 100

Leo - "When did Michael add her to any of his non-Cyberse decks?!"

Michael - "Ready you 2?"

Red-Eyes/C. Synchron - "Ready!"

Michael - "I tune Level 1 Cyberse Synchron with Level 9 Red-Eyes Darkness! Dark Queen of Dragons! Strike like a flash of lighting, and let this unknown power bring the birth of a new evolution! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 10! Dark Spatial Queen of Dragons, Red-Eyes Darkness Quantum Dragon!"

Red-Eyes returns to the field again.

The 3 then combine to form Crimson Zexal III, shocking mostly everyone.

Rensho - "It doesn't matter. Not even Crimson Zexal can save you."

Michael/Crimson/Astralette - "Is that so?"

Rensho - "What?!"

Michael/Crimson/Astralette - "Passionate feelings reconnected by hope! Come together and be what leads to an everlasting future! Recontact Universe!"

The card in Michael's hand, Rank-Up-Magic Limited Meklord's Force, had its image and text shatter apart, then rewrite itself on the card, now becoming Rank-Up-Magic Crimson Force.

Rensho - "What?! You Actually Modified The Card?!"

Crimson/Astralette - "The light of miracles repels the darkness, and reveals the true power of Limited Meklord's Force."

Michael - "We activate Rank-Up-Magic Crimson Force!"

Michael/Crimson/Astralette - "This card will Rank-Up a Dragon-Type monster on our field, and special summon a Chaos Dragon Xyz monster that's 1 rank higher! We rebuild the Overlay Network with our Level 9 Red-Eyes Darkness! Chaos Xyz Evolution! Appear, Rank 10, Chaos Dragon Xyz! Dark Queen of Dragons!"

Crimson/Astralette - "Embrace the light of hope!"

Michael - "And let it bring forth an evolution whose power shall lead to everlasting victory!"

Michael - "Now I activate Overlay Recall to bring Red-Eyes back to the field. And I'll do the same with Synchro Recall to bring back Stardust and Scarlight Red Archfiend."

Kari - "Alright! Michael's got 3 of Red-Eyes' evolutions out on the field!"

Michael - "I activate the continuous spell Triple Soul Strike! This spell has the exact same effects as Twin Soul Strike. Only difference? I can pick 3 monsters to equip it to instead of 2. And I choose Dark Star, Quantum, and Victory!"

Akiza - "Now all 3 of them can attack Dragon Wisel at the same time. And their effects combine together too."

Michael - "Now I activate their first effects! For every Dragon-Type AND Cyberse-Type monster on my field AND in my grave, they each gain 500 ATK and an additional attack! And Triple Soul Strike triples those amounts! I have 16 Dragons and a Cyberse on my field, and 7 Dragons and a Cyberse in my grave! That's a combined 23 Dragons and 2 Cyberse! So all 3 of them gain 12,500 ATK and 25 additional attacks! And Triple Soul Strike triples those amounts to 37,500 and 75 respectively!"

This spell lets me select a monster on my field and a Monster type, then the selected monster gains the selected typing. I select Utopia and Dragon. So Utopia is now a dual Dragon-Type and Warrior-Type like Red-Eyes Victory. Thus she also adds on to Dark Star, Quantum, and Victory's first 2 effects."

The trio shared a smirk.

Rensho laughed hysterically.

Rensho - "You fool! You just gave me the win!"

Michael then smirks.

Michael - "I activate my face-down! The Quick-Play spell Double Or Nothing! Due to the triple attack on Dragon Wisel being negated, the card lets the attack happen again, only this time with their combined ATK doubled!"

Rensho - "Doubled?!"

Rensho screamed as the triple attack blasted through Dragon Wisel, destroying it completely and knocking him to the ground and wrecking his D-Wheel. He then got to his knees and screamed.

Rensho - "My dear God Dragons! Come to me and destroy my enemies!"

The five God Dragons descended, growling as they acted as a shield to protect their master from further harm.

Halldor - "Yusei. Are those...?"

Yusei - "Yes Halldor. The infamous God Dragons themselves. The same ones that only Red-Eyes and her sisters have the power to beat."

Crow - "If she can even use it, that is."

Broder - "Excuse me?!"

Jack – "Rensho kidnapped the six of us back, causing Michael to come to our rescue. That was the only time we dealt with Rensho at all. Besides that, it was something to do with Illasiter or the Numbers."

Leo - "Michael even admitted that if Z-One and Don Thousand had combined forces, he would've been forced to use the power of Xyro during the duel. But because Michael and Yusei's duels with them were both 1v1, that need was completely unnecessary."

Meanwhile, Michael, Red-Eyes, and Dark took in the situation around them with complete seriousness.

Red-Eyes - "So what do we do here Michael?"

Michael - "Simple Red-Eyes. We use Xyro to take them down."

Dark - "You sure Michael?"

Michael - "My sisters aren't here right now. But I do know that they're cheering for us in spirit. We are the only ones that can stop them here."

Both girls nodded in agreement.

Michael - "Now come on! Let's show these punks whose boss!"

Red-Eyes/Dark - "Right!"

The trio then made their way towards Rensho and his five God Dragons.

Rensho - "Well, well. Seems like you 3 developed a bunch of spines."

Akira - "I hope those 3 know what they're doing?"

The trio stood firm, completely ready to take down their opponents."

Michael - "Ready you 2?"

Red-Eyes/Dark - "Ready!"

Michael - "Then I Overtune Red-Eyes and Dark Soul!"

Rensho - "Say what?!"

Girls - "They're actually gonna do it!"

Michael - "Clustering wishes and light of hope! Come together and create a power that brings forth the Dark Queen of Dragons true form!"

Dark used her staff to bring forth an Overlay Network. Then she turned herself into 4 tuner rings that were covered in the Overlay Network's energy. Red-Eyes quickly followed by becoming a purple orb and flying through the purple tuner rings and into the Overlay Network, which caused it to explode.

Michael - "Xyro Summon! Come forth! Dark Divine Cosmic Dragon Queen of Wishes, Red-Eyes Darkness Angel Goddess Dragon!"

Red-Eyes reappeared from the Overlay Network with a completely different appearance. everyone looked at her in awe as she had gained 2 pairs of black angel wings alongside a second pair of dragon wings, along with a pure black halo above her head. Even Michael was amazed at her new appearance.

Michael - "She's beautiful..."

Rensho - "No! That power should be mine!"

Michael - "Sorry Rensho. But let this power be what leads to your complete and utter defeat! Red-Eyes Angel Goddess! Destroy all 5 God Dragons now! DARK DIVINE COSMIC SOUL FLARE BURST SLASH!"

Red-Eyes Angel Goddess quickly attacked before anyone could blink, slashing at the God Dragons and dealing them grave wounds, causing them to cry out in pain. She then pointed her sword skyward and fired a torso sized blast from the tip of it. Red-Eyes then swung her sword down, causing the blast to be launched at the 5 God Dragons. The blast connected, killing them all instantly. Rensho was completely stunned at what just happened, as was everyone else.

Everyone - "She's THIS strong?!"

Rensho then glared at Michael.

Rensho - "You Got Lucky This Time Michael! But Come The Final Duel, I Won't Hold Back Against You And Your Sisters, And Whatever Friends That Decide To Join Your Side!"

Rensho then disappeared through a portal he created, thus ending the conflict. Angel Goddess floats down next to Michael, before quickly splitting back into Red-Eyes and Dark. Michael quickly catches them in his arms, seeing that both girls are completely drained of energy.

Michael - "I'm so proud of the both of you."

He flies over to the others carrying Red-Eyes and Dark.

Michael - "I'll meet you guys at the manor. I'm gonna tuck these two in."

Everyone - "OK."

Michael quickly returned to the manor, asking Gladis to return his D-Wheel to its spot in the garage as he took Red-Eyes and Dark to his room. He quickly undressed both girls down to their underwear and tucked them in. Feeling super tired himself, he quickly sent the girls a text saying that he was gonna join Red-Eyes and Dark in bed, and that they can party without him if they wanted to. He then stripped down to his boxers and slipped under the covers, wrapping his arms around the 2 girls with him as he fell fast asleep.
