In this chapter there is going to be a crossover with Chicago Fire and Med. Hope you like it.
The information that Owen and Henry had given had been of great help, after all this time, thanks to them they discovered who had kidnapped Jay: James Ray. Jay's late friend was alive and was dangerous. From what the guys said, Jay was very weak and didn't have much time.
Everyone in Intelligence, were looking into Ray's past. To find something that would tell them where he kept Jay.
"Does anyone know anything about Arthur Bradley?" - Voight asked.
"Nothing new, he has been missing since Monday." - Hailey replied.
"Guys I was thinking about what Owen said, about the warehouse and how it looked like a fortress, so I decided to rematch the broadcast and he was right." - Adam said as he stood with a sheet in his hand.
"Here you can see the walls of the warehouse and you can see that they are covered with some type of metal or steel." - Adam said as he pasted the sheet on the board.
"What we know is that it is a warehouse, at least fifteen minutes from Med." - Erin said.
"Check Ray, I want to know if he owns anything in Chicago." - Voight ordered everyone.
"Sarge there is something that does not close." - Hailey told Voight.
"Why did the ARISS symbol come out at the end of the broadcast? Is Ray a member of ARISS? " - Hailey let him know.
"I suppose to distract and make us believe that ARISS was behind this." - Kevin told his idea.
"That's what I believed at first, but I went into the FBI database and what they have about the ARISS leader is: white male, American, ex-military." - Hailey explained.
"It is a partial description." - Erin said.
"Yes, but it fits into Ray's description ..." - Hailey said before being interrupted by Adam.
"Guys, check this out, James has a warehouse here in Chicago, and it's two miles from the hospital. And he says that before he died, James lined the entire warehouse with stainless steel, this has to be the place where he has Jay. " - Adam explained, they had found the place.
"Get ready, we are all going to rescue Jay. Today we all return. " - Voight said as everyone went for the equipment.
"Sarge, we need help getting in, I'm going to call the CFD." - Kim said as she took out the phone from her.
"Tell them to send to firehouse 51, tell them we found Jay."
Meanwhile at the fire station, everyone was quiet in the common room; suddenly Chief Boden came in to make an announcement.
"Listen, I just got a call from Burgess. They say they know where Halstead is being held, they need our help to get in ..."- Before he could finish the barracks alarm sounded.
"Engine 51, Truck 81, Ambulance 61, Squad 3. Battalion 25. Break into a warehouse, help the police. Possible rescue. 205 W Randolph St. 1545."
Hearing those words, everyone got out and got ready, got into the trucks, and went to the address.
It was incredible how many police and firefighters were heading to the warehouse where Jay was, everyone was going to do everything they could to find him alive and take him to Med.
Once everyone had arrived at the scene, Boden and Voight approached their men to say what was going to happen.
"Listen, inside this warehouse is Jay, the whole place is reinforced by stainless steel, so you open the doors, and we go in. We believe that there may be attackers in the place, after opening a door everyone of you get behind us. Understood?" - Voight said the plan.
"You heard, Severide, Casey, you guys are after Sergeant Voight and Ruzek. Cruz, Kidd go behind the warehouse with Lindsay and Upton. The others behind Atwater and Burgess. " - Boden ordered the men from him.
Everyone was ready to enter the place, but suddenly shots rang out.
"Breach now. Let's go."- Voight yelled into the radio.
Everyone entered the warehouse, all the rooms were clear, there was no sign of Jay, all but one.
"This is missing, breach now." - Ruzek said.
When everyone entered, they saw something devastating, it was Jay hanging from his arms, under him was a pool of his blood. But the worrying thing was that he had two gunshot wounds to his chest and collarbone.
"Oh my God." - Hailey said when she saw Jay.
"What did that bastard do to him?" - Adam said.
Erin ran to Jay.
"Jay, do you hear me? Stay with me." - Erin was about to cry.
"Paramedics!" - Casey screamed.
Brett and Foster ran over to Jay.
"Severide help me get it down." - Boden asked Kelly for help.
Once Jay was down, it was all up to Sylvie and Emily.
"It is not responding to stimuli." - Foster said.
"He lost a lot of blood, he barely has a pulse, bring the stretcher now!" - Brett yelled, they couldn't waste time.
"Hold on Jay." - Kevin told him.
Sylvie, Emily, and Adam were taking Jay out of the warehouse, outside it, there were patrol cars and officers outside to escort the ambulance.
"Close all the streets, I don't care what you do, I need this escort clean." - Voight ordered the officer.
"We help close streets on the way to Med." - Kelly and Herrmann said.
Brett and Foster were ready to go to Med.
"I'm going with you." - Erin said as she got into the ambulance.
"50-21 Henry, notify Med, police on their way, multiple gunshot wounds." - Voight said over the radio.
They all got into the cars and trucks and closed street by street until they reached Med.
Meanwhile in the ambulance.
"We have to intubate." - Foster said.
"What is the ETA?" - Foster asked Brett, they had to get there as soon as possible to save Jay.
"Two minutes."
"Stay with me Jay, hold on." - Erin said to Jay, as she took his hand.
"He's crashing!" - Foster yelled.
"Pushing epinephrine." - Foster said as he took a syringe.
"What's going on?" - Erin said, she is worried and distressed.
"We're losing him, Brett. How much longer?" - Foster couldn't handle Jay anymore.
"We are here."
As they lowered Jay from the ambulance, Maggie was waiting in the emergency room.
"Incoming! Dr. Marcel you are going to Baghdad." - Maggie said as she saw who was entering.
Will did not know that the person who is about to enter was his brother.
"Male, multiple gunshot wounds, multiple fractures and trauma all over his body, we intubate on the field, he crashed on the road, he barely has a pulse." - Brett told Crockett.
Will decided to see who the patient was who had just come in and he couldn't believe it, it was Jay.
"Jay! Jay! You'll be fine ... Crockett is my brother ... please save him. " - Will asked him, he couldn't hold back his tears.
