Kaiya is an orphaned child. She knows nothing about her past. Only to be experimented and abused by the demented Orochimaru. On a mission to find the villain, Kakashi saves Kaiya. The fourth Hokage then adopts the child and orders Kakashi to guard the small girl. Throughout the years Kakashi learns to love, and Kaiya learns to deal with the pains of loss and abandonment.

47. Chapter 47

Scene 46

War was in the making.

But Kaiya was to stay in the village.

Begging Kakashi not to go.

To not leave her.

The unknowns of war battled in her head.

Kakashi kissed her head.

"You know I'll come back, I always do." He whispered.

Their foreheads touching.

Their hands together.

Kaiya crying.

Tears dripping.

Kakashi sighed.

This wasn't easy for him.

They were alone now. Everyone had gone off.

"Kaiya… "

"No, I'm going to. '' Kaiya moved and clenched her fists.

Wiping her tears.

"But the baby. ``Kakashi brought up.

"But I have to help, I have to…, ' she then looked up at Kakashi, 'I have to protect you this time.

Determination in her eyes.

Kakashi sighed and hugged Kaiya as she began to cry.

"I'll be back before you know it." Kissing her forehead.
