Kaiya is an orphaned child. She knows nothing about her past. Only to be experimented and abused by the demented Orochimaru. On a mission to find the villain, Kakashi saves Kaiya. The fourth Hokage then adopts the child and orders Kakashi to guard the small girl. Throughout the years Kakashi learns to love, and Kaiya learns to deal with the pains of loss and abandonment.

Scene 48

They say it's yours too. With like math or whatever. " Sasuke couldn't believe it.

Did his all seeing eyes deceive him?

But no.

It was Itachi.

It had to be.

"Hey wait!" he yelled.

"I have things to do!" yelled back Itachi.

"No! I have questions!"

Itachi wouldn't stop.

Sasuke was annoyed and used this fact to his advantage.

"You got her pregnant you know?!"

Itachi instantly stopped.

Lost for words.

Did he really get her pregnant?

The love of his life.

Who he met briefly before his death.

The best night of his life since before murdering his clan.

"You're lying to get my attention," he said.

Sasuke smirked. "Nope, I'm gonna be an uncle. And I know it's true because I have your eyes.

Crass of me, but I have seen everything you have seen. Including our dear Kaiya."

Itachi stared and clenched his fists.

"Our?" he whispered and then chuckled. "Oh, you still have a crush, don't you? But let me tell you one thing, Kaiya is neither of ours. Kaiya belongs to no one."

Sasuke got even more annoyed.

Itachi always knew how to get under his skin.

"You know, I saw her a while ago? Yep, she's a mess as always. I was so close to sleeping with her too."

Itachi wanted to hit Sasuke.

It took all his restraint not to.

Even during a time of war, he was fighting over a girl.

"Why are you telling me this? I'm dead, remember?" keeping his calm.

Sasuke smirked, "Thought you should know." shrugging.

Was this really his brother, thought Itachi.

Someone who wants to destroy the village he loved and hurt the woman he loves.

Who was Sasuke anymore?

"I made a mistake, I should've never shrouded you with hatred. You say you're honoring me by taking Konoha down, but you still know nothing. Yes, you have seen what I have seen, but never have you felt what I felt."

Itachi then felt something again despite being dead.

He wanted nothing more than to see her again.

To disregard his plans to stop Kabuto's Edo Tensai, and go to her.

To see her for a final time.

To tell her that her child will bare the same fire as him and he'll always be with her forever now.

Itachi wanted to hold Kaiya in his arms again.

To kiss her lips again.

But no.

He couldn't be selfish.

Itachi needed to help make this world right again.

To keep Kaiya safe.

To keep his child safe.

He just hoped Kakashi will continue to stay by Kaiya's side.
