I AM BACK. It's been a while and my two stories have been neglected but I am going to finish this one at least for sure and now that all the backstory about Soren is done we can continue our Romance, Dramedy Adventure.

After what seemed like a good 30 minutes of tears Soren wiped his eyes and felt instant relief, but also wasn't sure if he should stay now. It was not that he didn't want to stay but again he was a red mage and possibly wanted, The group began to walk away when Soren cleared his throat and they all turned to face him.

Soren: Ummm…. Well… the thing is…could I stay here? I mean I am a Red Mage I could be putting you, people, in…

Wakka: You be Quiet Ya

Wakka said as he came over and placed a hand around Soren, The last thing Soren wanted to do was cry all over again so he wiped his eyes which got a bit of an "Aww" moment from the rest of the group. Somehow Soren was now "adopted" by these people he just met and they were different from the rest of the people he had been around. The Red Mages were rather cold to him at first and even after "warming up" to Soren they still had very little emotions, Rufus was a businessman first and a shrewd one, he didn't care about people too much only results. This was the first time in his entire life that Soren met people that actually cared.

Wakka: Your part of the family ya? We haven't known you too long, but I don't know too many people who would do what you did for a complete stranger. So of course, you can stay here.

Lulu: That's right, as long as you want. You will need to pull your weight around here as we all pitch in at this village but there should be no reason as to why you can't stay.

Soren: Um, Thank you.

Wakka patted Soren on the back as Soren wiped his eyes, again he was not an emotional guy but to actually feel like he belonged did make him cry with joy. He cleared his throat as Wakka turned and began to examine the rubble that was the former owner's hut if Soren wanted to say Wakka would help him get this place up and going. Wakka had been dealing with a lot himself. First losing Chappu, then losing his adoptive brother Tidus and then his whole faith being shaken to the core, and then this Soren guy coming and bringing Tidus back, It was a lot to take him and he did. He had to be strong for all the villagers of Besaid especially Yuna but now things were finally alright.

Tidus: And listen, if you need help building your house, I can help you with that.

Wakka: Me too Ya.

Wakka said as he turned around and patted Soren again on the back, Yuna who had not slept the night before was now looking like her old self: Hopeful and filled with Joy. She looked at both Lulu and Tifa who both nodded

Yuna: We all will, We will need to get wood which we can get in the forest but there's still fiends there so you'll have to be careful. What kind of weapon do you fight with?

Soren: Um Weapon?

Tifa: Yeah, are you a martial artist? do you use a spear? how do you defend yourself from fiends?

Soren: I run away?

The group stared at Soren, and it was starting to dawn on them: This all-powerful mage that could kill and raise people from the dead couldn't fight? Everyone was surprised by this, Even someone as basic as Tidus could at least handle a Sword so how did this guy Soren not know how to fight? Lulu cleared her throat to break the weird situation.

Lulu: Are you saying you do not know how to defend yourself?

Soren: I never practiced. Red Mages don't learn fighting styles and I was in a lab all day with Shrina.

Well now the group was truly in Shock, It brought up a new question: what were they going to do with him? Wakka took his arm off of Soren and began to walk towards the rest of the group

Wakka: Well Ya, that changes plans huh. We can't have him coming with us if he can't defend himself

Soren: Well, Now I feel useless

Wakka turned back to Soren and waved his arms as he made his way back to Soren in a hurry, Wakka wanted to make sure that Soren didn't take it the wrong way and Lulu simply just shook her head about Wakka's Comments. Somehow he always took his foot and put it in his mouth, Still, she did love that about him and how bold he was…even at times he was an idiot.

Wakka: I didn't mean it like that ya, We just need to train you with a weapon, just need to figure out what you're good at yah?

Lulu: Good Point, you clearly have the aptitude for magic

Soren: Even though I experimented on myself to get it?

Lulu: That is a Good Point, still being someone who can't defend themselves might be a problem.

Wakka: Well alright then I guess we could train him, No disrespect to you Tidus but you are not exactly a master at the Sword, Both Yuna and Lulu were born with their abilities and I very much doubt he wants to learn how to throw a blitzball at his opponents and even if he did that would take a lot of time. What you need is a master.

Tifa: I can train him

Everyone looked over at Tifa who shuffled her way forward; people were quick to forget that she was a legit martial arts master and could teach anyone even a beginner. Soren didn't really object to the idea and it did work well for everyone as there's no way Soren could learn Lighting from Lulu and more than likely he would be cut by Tidus or the Sword. Tifa was more interested in this than she let on, she wanted to see if Soren could use his abilities in a fight, there was still so many unknowns about the Red Mages and Soren was keeping his abilities close to his chest.

Lulu: Tifa, I know you want to train him, but shouldn't you go back to Luca at least for a few days? You are the new Maester there.

Oops, Tifa forgot all about that and knew she had to at least go down to Luca to make sure the second biggest city in all Spira wouldn't crash and burn, she doubted it would but still, it was her job. Soren quickly had an idea but it was going to require going back to Baaj, But he wasn't exactly looking forward to it.

Tifa: Right, I forgot, and I will probably have to say there for a while.

Lulu: Yes, as a Maester you are in charge and need to make sure you hear the needs of the people.

Tifa: Yeah, Sorry Soren.

Soren: Actually, there is something I just remembered but I need to go to Baaj, question is how do I get there?

They all looked at Soren, so he didn't want to stay now? What was going on with him? The group welcomed him and even invited him to stay there but he wanted to go back to Baaj? Soren saw their eyes and shook his hands

Soren: DON'T GET THE WRONG IDEA, I'm not leaving I just have something that crossed my mind and there's a certain something I want to look for that talks about the Red Mages but the only way to do that is to go back to Baaj. So is it possible?

The group thought for a few minutes, it was a weird request but doable…somewhat, it would require a boat and the only boat they had was the one that went to kilika island and besaid, they could not grab that boat and commandeer it.

Lulu: We can get there but it either requires a boat or an airship, we do not have any of those now, but we could ask Cid to come and pick you up and drop you off there.

Soren: That would be great, Thanks. Can I bring a couple of you with me? Obviously, with the fiends, I might need some help.

Wakka: Sure Ya, and since that place is nothing but the water I'll go with you.

Tidus: Me Too

Yuna looked over at Tidus, not exactly happy.

Yuna: Really? You just got back and your leaving already? Maybe I should go with you as well.

Tidus: Yuna, I...

Soren: Um, I don't need you all to come with me. Wakka and I can handle it. There are Fiends there but where we are going we won't come across any.

Lulu: I am curious, just what are you planning?

Soren: I can't tell you.

Yuna: Why not? We welcome you here, you can be honest and open with us.

Soren: Oh no, it's not that I don't trust you guys. I just don't know if what I'm looking for is there.

The Group nodded to him as now the situation had become a bit weirder, What was Soren going to Baaj Temple to grab? Why was Tifa wanting to find out more, What is Tidus plan after returning?

So a bit of a short chapter but considering I took so much time off, i figured a small chapter would be alright to do. Stay tuned for more as I will be trying to update this a lot more regularly
