Hours Later
In the morning
Karen's Cafe
Brooke smiled lovingly as she watched Jake play tea party with his daughter at a nearby table full of stuffed animals and desserts.
Anna Elizabeth Jagielski was 2 going 10. Full of personality and warmth. She had her mother's curly blond hair and green eyes.
"So what do you think P Jagielski. Do you want anymore kids.? Or is Anna the only god child i get to spoil.?" Brooke asked.
As the two women ate breakfast together.
"We want at least 2 more. Another daughter. And a son. Then that's it. You're seriously closing the book fully on motherhood.?" Peyton asked.
Brooke sighed deeply. "I can't get pregnant. Adoption is a beautiful selfless thing. But nothing is guranteed even after the child is you're arms. I couldn't go through that. Having the birth parents change heir minds. Owen and I have a plan and i'm looking forward to a life with just him and I. It's enough." She replied.

Days Later
"Are you sure the two of you are willing and open to going to my engagement party.? I invited Arthur. He's coming. I want this night to go smoothly. No drama." Brooke asked. Looking to Victoria and Ted.
"This is you and Owen's night. Nothing will be ruined. I'll be in the car." Ted announced.
Victoria locked gazes with her daughter.
"Don't make the same mistake i did. If you are not in love with Owen. Do not get married. Save yourself and him time and heartbreak." Victoria warned.

"This house is so you. Colorful. Fun. Warm and inviting. I appreciate the invite my parents took Larry and Leo to the movies."
"Why are we having dinner alome.?" Lucas asked.
"Owen and I are engaged." Brooke announced.
Lucas felt his heart sink.
"You can't marry him Brooke! He's a decent guy. Who cares about you. But You and I are supposed to be together." Lucas proclaimed.
Brooke looked away from him. Letting out a frustrated sigh.
"I knew you would do this! Bring it back to you and me!"
"What we had! What i thought we had is gone! You threw it away!"
"You broke my heart Lucas! The only reason i can manage being around you is because of those boys!"
"I was in love with you! And none of that mattered."
"I moved on. Why don't you do the same!" Brooke yelled. The emotion in voice thick.
"I never stopped being in love with you!"
"I was confused and lost because Nathan made it seem like he was looking out for me when in reality he was using me to turn against you."
"I should of went after you. Fought for you. Begged for you're forgiveness. I was a coward and too prideful back then. But i have changed. You are it for me Brooke."
"The woman i never thought i deserved. Loved me and fought to become better for me. You are my other half. I want a life with you a family. All of it." Lucas confessed with the emotion in his voice thick.
Brooke shook her head from side to side. Tears welling up in her eyes.
"It's too late Lucas." Brooke announced. Getting up from where she was seated.
He got up and took her hand in his. Their eyes locked on each other.
"Let me go.!" Brooke demanded.
"Never." Lucas replied. Pulling her towards him in a passion filled kiss.
Brooke kissed him. Breaking the kiss. As she looked away from him.
"Go home Lucas." Brooke said.
"Is that what you really want.?" Lucas asked.
When she looked back at him. Her skin felt hot. Her heart raced.
"No." she said.
"What do you want.?" Lucas asked.
"You." Brooke replied breathlessly.
