R&R longer note at the end
Vincent began to pick up speed heading back to the bar, he wasn't sure what had happened but given the reaction of the people it wasn't anything good. Getting closer Vincent saw his way was blocked by a crowd of people, looking around he tried to find another route to the bar.
Running down one of the alleyways he eventually managed to find his way to an open route, rushing forward he found himself stood in front of what remained of Tifa's livelihood. The doors of the bar were gone, the front windows smashed beyond repair, part of the roof seemed to be missing but the part that concerned him the most was the fire blazing inside. Heading forward his thoughts where of Tifa, the person who had helped him when he needed it she could still be in there and yet everyone just stood back watching.
"Wait" A voice behind him spoke grabbing his shoulder pulling him back as Vincent made for the bar, turning around at whoever had tried to stop him he found the familiar face of Wymer.
"Tifa might be in there" Vincent responded a little aggressively "Why are you stopping me?"
"She's safe, I can take you there" Wymer responded, hearing those words a wave of relief washed over him as he nodded following Wymer.

Tifa laid on the makeshift bed in the base of operations for the neighbourhood watch being examined by Sector Seven's resident doctor, she winced a little as he touched her side. This was embarrassing, all she had been through, all that training she had gone through and yet it was worthless against that woman.
"As soon as you answer me, I'll do just that" The woman said smirking as she locked eyes with Tifa.
Tifa watched the woman closely looking for an opening, it wasn't the first time she had dealt with unruly customers. Slowly making her way forward confidently she watched the two men before looking back to the smirking woman.
"Last chance, leave or I'll throw you all out" Tifa said a little more force behind her voice this time, none of them seemed to move as she waited. She sighed resigning herself to have to use force to remove these uninvited pests, stepping toward the woman she grabbed her wrist with the intention of forcing her out.
The woman smirked at her attempt quickly dragging her wrist free as she aimed a kick at Tifa's side, Tifa quickly jumped back out of reach. It was obvious now this wasn't going to be as easy as it first appeared. Before Tifa could react the woman dashed forward driving her fist into her abdomen, as the hit connected the air was driven out of Tifa's body flinging her back from the force throwing her over a table.
Tifa coughed trying to regain her breath, what was with that strength? Tifa slowly stood holding her abdomen feeling like she had just been hit by a truck, before Tifa could react the woman had closed the distance between them gripping Tifa by the throat with a vice like grip.
"You should have just talked" The woman said smirking as she watched Tifa struggle pulling at her iron grip "We'll call it a day for now but we will be back in a week. Tell the escaped convict that I will find him". She pulled Tifa closer whispering in her ear so only Tifa would hear.
"If you're curious the name of the person who just beat you down is Jessie" She smirked letting Tifa go before turning to her crew "We're done here for now boys". Regaining some of her strength Tifa charged the woman who called herself Jessie throwing a punch, seeming to feel her presence Jessie moved to one side making Tifa's momentum carry her past her as she drove a kick straight into her back with enough force to throw Tifa through the doors of the bar. The last thing she heard was the shattering of glass, the screaming of the people of the slums as she fell unconscious.

Vincent climbed the ladder at the side of the weapons shop following Wymer, he knew this place well since Tifa had brought him here once. Wymer had been there that day, he seemed to be the guy to know, a man with his finger to the pulse who thankfully didn't ask too many questions.
"In there" Wymer said stepping to the side to the entrance of the Neighbourhood watch's base of operations. Thanking him Vincent headed inside, he saw the doctor examining a woman in a soot covered white tank top. As he made his way slowly in he saw the familiar black hair of Tifa, she looked over as he approached as the doctor finished his exam.
"Hi" She said smiling a little weakly, he didn't respond at first as he saw the doctor pull out a green orb which glowed in his hand as he pressed it to Tifa's side. He recognised this well, it has been the same when Tifa had healed his wounds. Smiling the doctor stood turning to leave as he patted Vincent on the shoulder, nodding a little Vincent walked forward sitting down next to her.
"What happened?" Vincent asked a little concern in his voice, Tifa tried to push herself up but couldn't seem to find the strength laying back down.
"It's nothing" She said looking away seemingly trying to pick her words "Some people came into the bar. A woman with brown hair and two men, they seemed to be looking for you".
"I'm sorry" Vincent said as Tifa slowly looked back at him, a hint of sadness behind his yellow eyes.
"This isn't your fault" Tifa said slowly moving her hand to his reassuringly "I don't care who they were looking for, I'd never betray anyone like that. If anything it's my fault I ended up this way, I under estimated them is all". Vincent slowly took her warm hand in his feeling a little happier knowing she was still alive, knowing she was safe for the time being.
"I'm going to leave town" Vincent said causing Tifa to lock her eyes on his face as he looked away "I've caused you enough problems, I don't want to cause anymore by staying". Tifa gripped his hand a little tighter as she smiled looking at him, slowly he began to look back his eyes meeting hers.
"I'm coming with you, even if you left she'd come back. If anything I feel like it would be safer for us both to stay together than be apart" Tifa said finding the strength to push herself up into a sitting position, a small smile crossed Vincent's lips as he saw the determination burning in her eyes.
"If you insist, then it doesn't matter what I say" He said gripping her hand back.
Nice long chapter this time since we had that cliff hanger from last time. Just in case anyone is a little confused Wymer is from the remake so it made sense to add them in
The parts in italics is a flashback hence why it had to be Tifa who had it since no one was around when she got beaten by Jessie and yes I made her a villian it seemed a lot more fun that way
Just before I go as well, for the reviewer who set their name to Guest I'd like to say that I have never actually played Dirge of Cerberus most of my information on Vincent is friends and google or I would be willing to consider doing a dirge of Cerberus fanfiction
