R&R longer note at the end
Tifa and Vincent sat quietly in the wagon as it bumped against the uneven road, they could here Cid their driver complaining about the road conditions. They weren't sure of where they would end up next or what they were planning to do when they got there.
It felt like hours before they finally came to a stop Tifa looked up as she heard the sounds of people going about their day, she heard someone walking outside of the wagon as the back covering flapped open showing Cid watching them.
"Come on" He said in his gruff tone "This is as far as I can take ye without getting in trouble". Tifa looked confused as she made her way to the back hopping out looking around, she recognised this place the bright neon lights, the line of food stalls and bars.
"Wall market" Tifa muttered to herself as Vincent hopped out looking around "Thank you for this but why here?"
"It was on my way" Cid said "Problem is this wagon is only carrying supplies and there is a checkpoint further up, imagine if they found two people hanging around in the back. I'd lose my job, end up locked up and Wymer didn't pay me enough to risk it". Vincent watched as Cid pulled the cover back over before looking at Tifa who's eyes seemed to be looking at a large ugly looking mansion, turning away from it they both watched as Cid headed off.
"What now?" Vincent asked curiously as Cid vanished from sight. Tifa sighed, she knew there was only one thing to do now but she didn't like the idea in the slightest.

"What do you mean they escaped!" A loud commanding voice came through the speaker on Jessie's phone holding it away from her ear, she knew her boss would be angry but she had to report in, she couldn't believe she had fallen for such a stupid diversion as that.
"Don't worry boss" Jessie said down the phone trying to calm them down "We'll find them I swear".
"Don't fail me again" was the last thing her boss said before the phone clicked off. Sliding the phone in her pocket she sighed before kicking a stone in frustration, where did those two get to? How much time had those three bought them? She looked up hearing the footsteps of her squad members returning.
"Anything?" She asked in frustration as her eyes flashed in anger, the two men stopped looking a little concerned hoping that their news would be enough to quell her anger a little.
"W-we found tracks from a cart of some kind" the one named Biggs said as the other known as Wedge nodded in agreement. Glaring Jessie felt some of her anger subside.
"They could be anywhere by now" Jessie said grabbing her gear "Well lets get going before they get too far ahead". Turning on her heel she headed in the direction they had come from interested to see these tracks herself.

Tifa smiled as Vincent returned carrying some food for them, she hadn't noticed at first but it had been a while since she had last eaten. Tearing the packaging off the grilled sandwich Vincent had got her she sighed happily, this place maybe the worst place in the world but at least the food was good. Vincent took a bite of his own as his yellow eyes rolled over the scenery before them, watching all the people wondering around laughing and having fun not a care in world.
"We'll be ok" Tifa said reassuringly after she swallowed a mouthful of her food "We'll finish this then we'll keep moving, the only thing is we'll need to get permission from the leader of this place first". She shuddered at the thought of dealing with that person again, she'd heard the rumours of them but it wasn't until that one night when the leader of wall market had crossed the threshold of the bar.
"Is something wrong?" She heard Vincent's voice from what felt like far away as she was snapped back to reality, she smiled and nodded as she finished eating. When Vincent was finished the pair stood dumping their rubbish, Tifa led the way towards the mansion that towered over the market, her feet felt heavy as she walked almost like her body was telling her this was a bad idea but she didn't have any choice, if they wanted to escape they would have to do this.
Pushing open the large wooden doors covered in gold the two walked crossing the bridge as they reached the main doors, Tifa stood taking a breath before she walked to the guards at the door.
"Can I help you?" A man with silver hair asked his gun resting at his side.
"I'm here to see the don" Tifa said looking at the man, he had a kind look about him something Tifa didn't expect knowing the type of place she was about to enter.
"Fine" The man's eyes fell on the taller more imposing figure of Vincent "We can only let one person in at a time. Don's orders".
"Just give us one moment" Tifa said as she led Vincent out of ear shot "I'll go in, you wait here. It's better we not cause a commotion". Vincent hesitated as he looked at Tifa, he was confident she could handle herself but something about this place didn't sit right with him.
"Twenty minutes" He said finally "If you're not back by then, I'm coming in". Tifa smiled as she nodded, turning on her heel she walked back to the guard who nodded his approval opening the door as Tifa walked in he closed it behind her. Tifa looked around the reception room, her eyes stinging a little from the reflective gold embroidery on the red walls.
"I'm here to see the don" She said approaching what she assumed was a reception desk, the burly man behind it nodded as he waved from a much shorter man to approach. The shorter man looked her over making Tifa tense up a little ready for a fight if the need arose, after a few moments the man nodded indicating Tifa should follow him.
Following a short distance behind him her dislike of the don continued to grow, she remembered when they had entered her bar. She had taken a dislike to them their manner of speaking down to her, the smug arrogant smirk they had displayed. She had hoped to never see them again but this was her only option, years of practise had taught her to deal with difficult customers and keep her temper in check she just hoped all that training would pay off now.
Stopping at the middle of the balcony the man pushed open the large gold painted doors as he stepped aside allowing Tifa to pass, she walked in as the doors closed behind her entering a large room lined with red wooden panels on the walls and floor. Her eyes fell on the large mahogany desk in front of her, there sat behind the desk that smug look she knew well was none other than the don themselves.
Well it was only a matter of time before we had to bring in the don, I wonder how this will go. I would also like to point out for those who have played the remake the guard they speak to outside is seen in it but I didn't name them this chapter but in a later chapter their name will be used
