Chapter 18
An icor covered Alec dragged himself into the Institute. An equally as filthy Jace, and Izzy, who had somehow managed to be the cleanest of the trio, followed suit. After exchanging a few words, they each went to their own rooms to get cleaned up.
It was already late into the night, and by the time Alec came out of the shower, got dressed and made his way to the kitchen, his parents had already gone to bed. Alec entered the kitchen, pausing at the familiar silhouette.
"What are you trying to do?" He asked in way of greeting.
"What does it look like I'm doing?" Izzy returned, glancing at him over her shoulder.
"It looks like you're trying to burn down the Institute!" Combing his fingers through his still damp hair, a worried Alec moved quickly, joining his sister at the stove. He couldn't help scrunching up his face in disgust at the funny looking concoction that she was busy stirring around in the pan. "Did mom not make dinner? What is that?" He had to take several steps back, covering his face with the sleeves of his sweater. Whatever Izzy was cooking had a very pungent smell, almost like she had emptied an entire bottle of peper sauce into it. His eyes watered and his nose burned.
Izzy wasn't the least bit affected. She simply pointed him to the refrigerator. "Mom made pasta. I think she forgot that I really don't like pesto too much, so I decided to make myself something else." With a flourish of her hands, she smiled. "I present to you, my special eggs and bacon bits scramble."
Alec rolled his eyes. There was absolutely nothing in that pan that even remotely resembled eggs, not to talk of bacon. The whole thing had a dark brownish color with little splashes of red scattering throughout. He supposed that perhaps the red bits were the pepper. As for the brown sludgy bits, he had no idea what those were, nor did he care to find out. Before Izzy could dare to ask him if he wanted any, Alec instead moved to the refrigerator and pulled out a white tupperware filled with pasta. He scooped some out into a bowl and brought it to the microwave to be reheated.
A while later, with the kitchen thankfully still intact and the poisonous smell somewhat dissipating, the two Lightwood siblings sat down together at the kitchen table. Half way through their meals, it was Izzy who broke the comfortable silence. "Do you know where Jace snuck off to?" She asked.
"Jace went back out?" Alec paused, thinking for a moment. He'd been so hungry that he honestly hadn't even thought about why Jace hadn't joined them for dinner.
Izzy nodded. "Hmm. He was being really sneaky about it too. Do you know if he's seeing anyone new."
Alec took a sip of his water, frowning. "I thought he was hanging out with what's her name... Kayla?"
"No, that's been over for a while now," Izzy explained. "You know how he gets."
"Oh." Alec was a little bit taken aback for a moment. Then again, Jace was always sneaking out, hooking up with one girl or another, so there wasn't really anything strange about that. He supposed things were just that different now. Before, he'd always kept track of Jace's movements, where he went, who he was 'hanging' out with. Now, he was too busy with his own sneaking around to really pay attention to Jace. It was still so mind boggling to him just how much things really had changed, and in such a short period of time too.
Still, Alec couldn't help but wonder; Was Jace seeing someone new, and if so, who? Another downworlder?
Sighing, Alec was thankful that his concerns now were simply that of one brother worrying about the other, and that his days spent wallowing in the pit of jealousy, were long passed.
"Did he say anything?" He asked.
Izzy shook her head. An idea was slowly taking root in her mind, however, she didn't want to say anything about it until she was absolutely sure.
The days flew by without incident, and before one knew it, another week had passed. Alec snuck out to see Magnus as much as he could. However, Alec wasn't the only one sneaking out, Jace was also disappearing from the Institute just as often. The two had selfishly left Izzy with arduous task of constantly having to cover up for them. What about her? She'd found herself lamenting. Did they think she had no social life, that she had nothing better to do than to sit around acting as cover for the two of them?
In the end however, even though she was severely annoyed, she still did her best to help the two. And with both of them always being conveniently missing at the same time, an excuse wasn't that hard to come by. Whenever asked of their where abouts by either of their parents, she'd simply say that the two were out together...whether it was hunting demons or simply hanging out.
As for Valentine, so far the man really did seem to simply be on vacation. Other than constantly popping up out of nowhere and being overly creepy, everything else seemed normal.
It was Friday night, and with nothing interesting going on, Alec once again planned on meeting up with Magnus.
With their mother currently in Idris, and Valentine around to keep their father occupied, Jace, as well as Izzy, had also decided to take advantage of this rare opportunity.
Since those first few times, Alec hadn't been back to Magnus' club, and so tonight, that was where the shadowhunter was headed.
After showering, Alec pulled on a pair black leather pants and a black distressed sweater, thinking about how purposely cutting holes into ones' clothing was something that he probably will never understand.
Once he was ready, Alec headed out. He didn't bother checking in with Izzy or Jace before leaving, as he'd already texted them his intentions earlier in the evening.
The club was already packed when he arrived, with lines going all the way around the block. As he approached the door, he was about to text Magnus to let him know that he'd arrived, when he suddenly heard his name.
"Ah, Mr Lightwood." It was one of the bouncers. "This way please. We've been expecting you." The man removed a thick red rope that was blocking the entrance and gestured for Alec to follow him.
Alec frowned, brows knitting together. It seemed that Magnus had informed the bouncer before hand to escort him to his office upon his arrival.
Without wasting time, Alec quickly followed the bouncer; a tall man who was built like a tank, with shoulder length hair, and fairly tanned skin. A werewolf.
The bouncer quietly led him through the VIP room to Magnus' office, knocking on the door once they arrived. "Mr. Bane, your guest is here," he called, opening the door for Alec when Magnus responded, before quietly taking his leave.
"Hey you." Magnus greeted him from where he sat behind his desk, a big smile lighting up his face. "Get in here."
Alec closed the door behind him, making his way across the room in two quick strides. He was about to return Magnus' greeting, but before he could even get a word out, Magnus had already spun his chair around. He grabbed Alec's hand, pulling the shadowhunter down onto his lap. Straddling Magnus' thighs, Alec was now the slightly taller one. Magnus grabbed a fistful of hair at the back of Alec's head and pulled the shadowhunter down for a fierce kiss.
Alec let out a humph. Their lips clashed roughly against each other, seams parting instantly. Their tongues entwined as they performed a salacious dance in and out of each other's mouths. Lips were bitten to the point of bruising, and only when the need for air became apparent, did either of them pull back.
When the two of them finally parted, Magnus whispered, "Miss me?" His forehead resting against Alec's as the two of them gasped for air.
Alec chuckled in between breaths. "I just saw you on Thursday."
"So." Magnus rolled his eyes, pulling back to cup Alec's face in his hands. "Even a minute away from you feels like an eternity," he whined.
Now it was Alec's turn to roll his eyes. With his arms wrapped around the warlock's neck, he couldn't help but to also pull on his hair in scolding. Even though he shared Magnus' feelings, he didn't want to say it out loud. So instead he said, "You're so freaking cheesy. Gonna give me a stomach ache."
Magnus, who was known for being too quick-witted, simply replied, "Don't worry, I'll just rub it and make it all better." To get his point across even better, he slowly dragged one of his hands down Alec's chest, making sure to brush against his nipples as he went, before stopping at his stomach. He began to rub circles. Before long his hand progressed even further down, lower, until it came to rest in between Alec's thighs and was now gently rubbing something else.
"That's not my stomach," Alec chided, his body jerking involuntarily, spasming as if shocked by electric current.
"I know," Magnus teased. "But here seems to need my attention a lot more." There was roaring fire in his eyes as he said this, and as Alec gazed into the inferno, he too was set ablaze.
Magnus leaned in and once again captured Alec's lips, swallowing the shadowhunter's retort. Soon, the two were once again lost in each other.
"Oh fuck." Alec gasped, his head falling back as his moans filled the room. Without much coaxing, Alec found himself trapped between Magnus and the desk, standing on shaky legs, his hands at his back, gripping at the desk for dear life. However, Magnus held no pity in his eyes as his gaze set fire to Alec's body and his mouth devoured him.
Still sitting in his chair, his hands gripped Alec's thighs to keep the shadowhunter from crumbling underneath the mounting pressure. He pulled back, all the way to the tip, teasing the tiny opening with his tongue, licking circles around the thick crown, before once again swallowing Alec's hard and pulsing member.
Magnus kept alternating his rythm. From slow and sensual, to hard and fast. Everytime Alec felt that pressure building up, like the cork on a champagne bottle about to explode, everytime he felt like he was almost at the finish line, Magnus would slow his rythm again, releasing some of the tension between his lips. This sweet torture lasted for what felt like hours. In this moment if Magnus were to ask Alec to disclose the secrets of the Clave, Alec would tell the warlock everything, even those one's that he didn't know.
Magnus dragged his tongue along the entire length, gently nipping and nibbling at overly sensitive areas, causing the already hot rod in his hand to become that much more scorching. At this point between Alec's cock and Magnus' mouth, it was very difficult for either of them to tell which one was hotter. While Alec felt that the heat spreading throughout his body, causing a kind of numbing tingle that started at the base of his spine, was coming from Magnus' mouth, Magnus on the other hand felt that the heat scorching his tongue and scattering his senses were infact coming from Alec's pulsing member.
In the end however, it didn't matter, both of them gave themselves over to those flames, letting the fire burn through to their very cores.
When at long last Magnus felt like he'd had his fill and he himself could not endure much more of this pleasurable torture, he opened his own pants, freeing his own cock that had long since been weeping from neglect.
As he increased the tension in his jaw muscles, his mouth clamping down on Alec that much harder, sucking him even faster, Magnus also gripped his own cock tighter, his hand keeping rythm with his mouth. Before long Alec's finger nails were practically peeling the paint off the desk.
"Magnus!"
Alec came with a shout, his cock pulsing in Magnus' mouth as it erupted spilling salty, hot lava, burning it's way down Magnus' throat.
In that same instance as Alec's taste exploded on his tongue, Magnus could not help his reaction. His hand was instantly covered with his own sticky mess.
A few days later, though not really, when Alec finally managed to calm down, his senses slowly returning, only then did he thought of Magnus. As he steadied his breathing, ready to deliver the same pleasure-pain filled torture that Magnus had just delt him, he was surprised to find that the warlock had already taken care of himself.
Had his mind really been that far gone that he hadn't even noticed Magnus jerking off?
Magnuscaught him starring at his still opened crotch and could not help but to smile, throwing Alec a wink as he jutted his chin in silent askance. He then snapped his fingers, conjuring a packet of wipes, quickly cleaned and put his cock, that was already beginning to harden again, away.
Alec was flushed and still somewhat in a daze. "I wanted to..." He started to say, but then stopped himself. He was about to fix his own clothes when Magnus slapped his hands away. "Wha..."
"Let me." Magnus then took a few more wipes out of the pakage and began to slowly wipe Alec's cock clean, which was a completely unneccassary action considering that his tongue had already done a perfect job. He had not wasted a single drop of Alec's syrupy sweetness. However, Magnus wanted to be a bit hands on tonight. He wanted to tease and torture Alec as much as possible.
As he slowy stroke Alec's cock, which hadn't completely soften, with the wipe, he looked up at the shadowhunter from underneath his thick lashes. "You know that just your taste alone is enough to get me off," he said, answering Alec's previous interest in giving him a blowjob as well.
Alec was shivering as Magnus kept slowly stroking his cock, wiping around the sensitive crown. "I...I also...like returning the favor," he said shakily.
"Oh, and you most definately will." Magnus smirked. "That was only the appetizer, darling. Later we'll be having the main dish. And I'll be expecting a full spread." He chuckled at the confused then aghast look that took over Alec's face.
When Magnus felt like Alec was 'clean' enough, he once again put Alec's cock away and fixed his clothes. Alec couldn't help but to feel somewhat embarrassed and annoyed, even pouting a little bit. Damn this dastardly warlock.
Alec was rock hard again.
Later on the two of them made their way to the VIP room. The two sat at Magnus' table, drinking as they made idle conversation. Alec didn't know why, but he'd honestly never thought that he would meet someone as easy to talk to as Magnus. Other than Jace and Izzy, and sometimes it was difficult to talk to even them, for obvious reasons, Alec had never genuinely felt comfortable around anyone. When he'd tried dating girls, he'd always felt like he had to pretend, and not just with regards to being gay, but he'd never truly felt like he could just let his guard down and relax, not worry about what he says or how he acts. He'd even thought that if by some miracle he were to find a boyfriend in the future, that he would still feel the need to pretend to be someone he wasn't simply to please that person...
"What are you thinking about?" Asked Magnus, reaching over to rub his thumb between Alec's brows, smoothing away his frown.
"Just about how great you are." Alec blushed as he looked at Magnus.
"You're the great one," said Magnus. "A literal angel who fights demons everyday to protect the world."
Alec lowered his head bashfully. Deciding to quickly move the conversation away from himself, he asked. "Speaking of demons... How have things been at the club lately? There hasn't been any new disturbances right?" He was thinking back to the first time he came to Pandemoniun.
"They wouldn't dare," Magnus replied.
Just then two people appeared in front of their table.
"Who wouldn't dare?" It was Magnus' friends, Catarina Loss and Ragnor Fell.
Since meeting the two that first time when they'd interrupt him and Magnus, although the warlock had told him a lot about them, Alec hadn't had the chance to meet them again. He instinctively straightened his posture.
"I don't know why Magnus insists on keeping you all to himself," Ragnor chided as he sat down, not bothering to wait for an invitation. "Since our first meeting all we've heard is Alexander this and Alexander that, yet we've yet to experience the magic that is Alexander for ourselves."
"Yes," Catarina added, sliding into the seat next to Ragnor. "You've truly managed to bewitch our dear friend here." She gestured to Magnus.
Alec blushed, trying to behind the glass of wine in his hand as he glanced helplessly at Magnus.
Magnus simply rolled his eyes at his friends. "Usually I would say don't believe a word either of them say, however, this time I'm afraid that their telling you the truth. You really have bewitched me Alexander." Magnus chuckled as Alec bumped his shoulder against his, seemingly annoyed. Alec hated being the center of attention. Remembering this, Magnus quickly stopped his teasing and went about making the proper introductions.
More drinks were brought to their table and conversations carried on into the night. Magnus' friends did not hold back one bit as they went all out in their efforts to make fun of him. Much to the warlock's chagrin, they revealed some of his most embarrassing secrets to Alec.
"So they arrested him for public indecency!" Ragnor exclaimed in laughter.
Magnus frowned as Alec looked at him in disbelief. Ragnor was telling Alec a story about how Magnus had gotten too drunk during one of their trips to Spain and had woken up naked on the streets of their then capital city with barely any memory of how he'd even gotten there. To say the story was hilarious and ridiculous would be an understatement.
"The fool had to cast a remembering spell," Catarina added as she chuckled. "You see..." she began to explain. "He'd made a bet with another friend of ours at the time, that he could bed this woman who just so happens to be the wife of the..."
"That's enough!" Magnus shouted, quickly getting to his feet. "You two are dead set on embarrassing me, aren't you?" He then grabbed Alec's hand and pulled the shadowhunter to his feet as well. "Let's go dance." Magnus gave his friends a look that promised them death as he dragged Alec away.
Alec really wanted to stay and hear the rest of the story, however he could tell that it was a bit embarrassing for Magnus, so instead he simply went along with the warlock.
Magnus dragged Alec all the way to the dance floor. "Don't believe a single word either of those two idiots say," said Magnus as he turned around to face Alec.
Alec couldn't help but smile as Magnus continued to grumble about how with friends like his, who even needed enemies.
Alec wrapped his arms around Magnus' neck. He gave the warlock a few peck on his lips to shut him up. "I thought you wanted to dance."
Magnus smiled. "You're right. Let's not let those idiots ruin our night. Shall we?" He brought his hands to Alec's hips.
"Although..." Alec added. "It was pretty interesting hearing about your weakness for dark hair and blue eyes..."
Magnus quickly leaned in, shutting Alec up with his own kiss.
One song played after another, and as much as Alec wasn't really much of a dancer, whenever he was with Magnus he found that letting loose and having fun wasn't really that difficult for him.
They'd danced for about a half an hour, when Alec caught sight of someone who looked familiar out of the corner of his eyes. He froze mid dance. For a moment there he thought he saw...
No. Was that Jace?
Jace was in a shadowy section of the dance floor with his arms wrapped around some girls waist. Although his back was to Alec, Alec would recognize that silhouette anywhere.
But who was he dancing with?
As Jace kept moving, Alec caught sight of a wisp of red hair.
Was that... Was it that red haired mundane?
What's her name?
Clary?
