Oh, little liars.

Season One; Episode Fourteen.

Claire was not in the mood for this; she took a deep breath and finished her makeup before standing up. Dinner with her dad's family was not something that she was ready for, but her father insisted that she and Hanna be there for a dinner party. She checked her phone and frowned, another A text.

Daddy must love having a perfect daughter. -A

Claire clenched her jaw before heading downstairs to hear what sounded like laughing. She raised an eyebrow as she reached the bottom of the stairs to find her mother and father cutting some food. Claire took in the situation; Hanna was busy holding her new nephew and making faces at him while Tatum supervised along with Julie. Her soon-to-be stepmother Isobel and Kate were busy judging their house. "Lovely family." Dean said with a smile grin as he offered Claire some water.

"Don't get used to it, only about five minutes before someone is fighting." Claire said with a slight chuckle, finally feeling comfortable with Dean. "You look nice." Dean said as he eyed Claire, causing the brunette to blush a little.

Claire smiled a bit, a little taken back by his compliment. "Thank you, you clean up very nicely also." She said as she did like Dean more than she wanted to admit. Maybe this was her chance to forget about Jason? He was just a crush on her, and he had burned her.

Kate had taken notice of Claire's interest in Dean before walking over to the pair. "Who's this?" Kate asked curiously as she checked Dean out, he was average-looking, but she knew it irked Claire. "My sponsor, Dean." Claire stated and looked at Kate, raising an eyebrow, "Oh right, you did have a little mishap." Kate said with spite, causing Claire to glare. "It's not uncommon to relapse." Dean said as he looked at Kate.

"Girls." Ashley said in a warning tone, "Dinner is ready." She told them, causing everyone to gather around and make themselves a plate.

Spencer walked into her house and shut the door behind her before she turned around to see Melissa. She felt her body freeze for a moment, "Melissa. You're home." She said to her, relieved that Melissa was safe and not with Ian for a moment.

"I can't believe you..you lied about Ian!" Melissa yelled at her younger sister, clearly upset as she did not want to believe that Ian was capable of those things, "Lied? Are you fucking kidding me? There is literal proof, on video." Spencer fired back as she dropped her bag, not backing down.

Melissa was in deep denial, "No, no. You and your pathetic little cult of friends faked it." She said angrily as she walked over to Spencer, "You just had to ruin my life!" Melissa yelled at her, and before she had a chance to control herself, she slapped Spencer hard across the face.

Spencer fought back the tears and looked at her sister, "He raped me, Melissa. Full on assaulted me, and who knows who else." She stated as she stepped back, "You don't get to play the victim, I tried to tell you." Spencer told her older sister as tears finally fell, "I tried to tell you before it ever happened...he kissed me, he wouldn't back off." She told Melissa, as the memories stung, she had tried for weeks to tell Melissa that Ian was creepy, "No! You and Alison are nothing but sluts!" Melissa finally yelled at her younger sister, "Melissa Hastings!" Veronica said in a very stern voice as she stepped off the bottom of the stairs. "Mom! Tell her, tell her that it's all a lie." Melissa begged her mother.

Veronica wasn't sure how to deal with this situation, "I saw the pictures and videos..." She told her oldest daughter, crossing her arms. "Ian is not welcome anywhere near this family." She stated as she would kill Ian with her bare hands.

"Mom!" Melissa was on her breaking point, and it was evident that Ian had Melissa wrapped around his finger, "I...mom, he's...I'm pregnant." Melissa finally managed to say.

Spencer wiped her tears and grabbed her bag, running upstairs to her bedroom. She nearly fell to her knees, and tears were falling harder at this point. What was she supposed to do? Her sister hated her. It was all way too much.

Spencer ran a hand through her hair before leaning back against her bedroom door. She took a deep breath before pulling out her phone, dialing the first number that she could think of.

Claire sat next between Hanna and Dean, glancing over at her mother. "So Claire, Hanna, any plans for college or a career path after high school?" Isobel asked, causing Claire to lean back in her chair, "I really enjoy fashion, I have been looking into school for that." Hanna said with a smile as she loved clothes and makeup. Claire felt everyone look at her, and she honestly didn't know what she wanted yet. "I uhh...I'm not sure yet, but I still have a little while to decide," She admitted as Claire was not sure what she wanted yet, she was lost in that department of her life, she knew that she wanted to help people, but she hadn't figured out how yet.

"Undecided is risky." Tom said, causing Claire to look over at her father, "I would rather know what I wanted before making a decision and ruining my life." She said with a bit of venom; she was still furious at her father for cheating on her mother. "Are you still on the field hockey team?" Tom asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I'm benched for the next two games," Claire said, taking a sip of her water, "Speaking of that, I feel we need to have a discussion about why that is." Isobel chimed in, causing Ashley to tense, and Claire looked over at her soon-to-be stepmother. "Yes, let's discuss my breakdown." Claire said with sarcasm, "Claire." Tom warned as he could see that his oldest daughter didn't have it.

"Tom." Ashley warned as she leaned back, "Dad, this is not the place." Tatum said, trying to reason with his father looking over at Julie, who was just as skeptical about the situation.

"It was unacceptable, Claire. You should have known better." Tom said with angry causing Claire to stand up, placing her hands on the table. "What was unacceptable, father?" Claire asked as she was over it, "You cheated on mom and walked out with this whore." She stated and looked at her father.

Hanna bit her lip and watched this scene unfold; Claire was fearless when needed to be. "You are not in any position to talk." Tom warned as he also stood up. "Oh, I am. I drank because I was struggling to cope, I'm not proud of that, but don't dare try to act like you didn't play a part in that. You left, and now you are back...but for how long?" Claire asked before wiping her hands off, "Do me a favor, don't pretend to care." She said before tossing the napkin at him and running upstairs; she could feel her tears falling. She wanted to be strong, but it was so hard.

Pam Fields had finished doing a load of laundry before hearing the doorbell ring. She hadn't been expecting anyone, but she opened the door anyways to find an envelope tucked under the welcome mat. She frowned and picked it up, opening it. It was a card, she opened it and gasped at the picture of Emily making out with Maya in a hot tub...with a note from A attached to it.

Oh my my..little Emily isn't afraid of kissing the ladies anymore. -A

Pam stormed back into the house, "Emily!" She yelled as she could not believe it, but the proof was in her hands.

Emily frowned and closed her textbook before heading downstairs. "Mom? Is everything okay?" She asked, worried as it sounded urgent. As she reached the bottom of the steps, Pam held up the photograph, causing Emily to stop in her tracks and pale. "You...how could you?!" She yelled as she didn't understand.

Emily took a step back; she knew her mom wouldn't react the best...but this...how did she find out? A? "Mom, I...fine. I like girls. It's not a big deal..it's who I am." Emily said, defending herself. Pam was usually calm, but this..."No. No. This...you will not see her again. Understand."

"Mom." Emily tried to reason with her, "No. This is not up for discussion. We will talk to your father once he is home, but you are forbidden to see her."

Emily felt sick to her stomach; she didn't know what to do. "Fine..." She said softly before heading back upstairs. She was gay...what was wrong with that?
