Weiss's POV

I rushed out of the gym where ruby was just training, I didn't mean to actually leave in a hurry. But I was to embarrassed to even look at ruby so I left saying I had to go to the cafeteria.

I strolled through the halls, pulling out my scroll to check the time "hm..I still have enough time before dinner..so I might as well see what Blake and Yang are doing" putting my scroll away into my back pocket and headed straight to the library.

I looked around to see if I can find Blake and Yang but all I saw was other people reading books as they are sitting or on computers researching. So instead of looking for them where the computers are, I started looking towards where the books are and as I was about to round a corner.

I heard noises coming from the other side of the bookshelf, it was kinda like low screaming or yelling, No. . More like moaning, swallowing my saliva to clear my throat, I slowly took a book off the shelf and then looked through the hole the book used to be, looking through the other side of the bookshelf I saw Blake and Yang In a heated kiss, my eyes widened and I covered my mouth to try not to make any noise, Yang's hand was slowly moving towards Blake's skirt belt and with that hand slowly taking it off.

I gasped and hid behind the shelf, trying not to make a sound. The moaning grew louder, and by the sound of it, Yang's hand was already in Blake's pants, rubbing her.

What's going on here!? I thought to myself as I try to get up and move so they don't spot me. But that was futile, the bookshelf moved and two maybe three, books fall to the floor making a loud Thug.

"Who's there?" I heard yang's voice "Crap. ." I whispered and slowly got out of my hiding spot "h..hey..guys..."

"Weiss. .?" Said Blake between breaths

"Y..yeah...um...I was just walking through.."

Yang fixed up her hair as she looked Weiss down with her now red eyes "I..I won't tell anyone! N..not even sun..I..I promise!"

"That's not what I'm worried about" yang said "Just..don't tell Ruby"

"Why not?.." I asked and she held a sad look in her eyes as her red eyes turns back to lilac.

"She's going through a lot right now. .I don't want this to be piled up on her shoulders." Yang said as Blake finally got her senses back and reached out to hold yang's hand.

"Alright, I won't." I smiled lightly "your a good sister, you know that?"

"Yeah, I know, I'm always awesome" yang said as she put on her shades. And started walking out the big doors with Blake and myself as I follow far behind them.

"Are we going back into the dorms?" Asked Blake as she looked up towards yang with her ears peaked up. "Yeah, I want to check up on ruby, before we go on our date."

They talked for some time, till we made it all the way to the dorm.

Before Yang had the time to get to the door knob, we all heard a loud Thug.

We all looked at each other and without saying a thing, we barged in the room. "Ruby!" We all said in Unison.

The Floor was covered in blood and half of a Grimm mask was covered with it. The trail led towards the bathroom and I ran towards it "Ruby!? Are you okay!?" I said as I saw her laying on the floor, half her face was red and covered with blood. Her eyes were closed and I kneeled down beside her, not caring how many blood was there as I laid her on my lap, holding her between my arms.

"Ruby! Please wake up!" I had tears in my eyes and Yang and Blake also ran in.

"I'll go get professor Ozpin!" Blake said as she used her cat-like trait to run faster. Yang on the other hand fell to her knees "Ruby. ." She took ruby's left hand and squeezed.

I looked around and see the Grimm mask laying on the floor "it...was like she was trying to take the mask off by force.." I said.

"Maybe...she saw something she didn't like..." Said Yang still holding onto ruby's hand

I frowned and leaned close, kissing ruby's forehead "Please. .Come back to me. . Ruby" as I said that, I felt ruby stir. "Ruby!" She slowly opened her eyes and and smiled weakly "Weiss. . ." Was all she could let out as she screamed in pain "Ruby!" She held her hand up and hold her head as the pain kept getting worse.

Something crawled up Ruby's arm and started at her neck, up her brain. She kept yelling and finally the screaming stopped, and Ruby fell unconscious, but the half mask that used to be on the floor in a pool of blood, was now on half of ruby's face.

What is happening to Ruby?. . I held her closer to my chest, protecting her from harm "I promise you...I'll do whatever is takes...to make you human again. ."

Ruby's POV

10 Years Ago

I woke up, my body was aching and my head was killing me, looking around I realized I was in my bed at home in patch. Trying to get up I felt something heavy on my hand and looked down, it was Yang, I see ..she took me back home.I smiled and whispered her name and to tell her to wake up, she did and slowly rubbed her eyes, after seeing me, she hugged me like her life depend on it

."P..pleas stop.." I managed to let out as she let me go, I breathed and wanted to know what happened to me, Yang had a look in her eyes that I can't figure out. But despite that she told me what happened.She said she found me on the ground in the forest when this boy told her that I have ran into the forest to help him. I was unconscious and my shirt was open to the point where she saw the big scar on my chest.She wanted to know why I had it and of course I had to lie to her, and said that I been had it and that it was there when my mother summer went missing or died.

Yang gave me a look but didn't pressured it and just shrugged."Well..I'm just glad you didn't get seriously hurt." She smiled and messed up my hair.Yang took this as a chance to get father and left the room, leaving me alone with my thoughts.I felt like something was odd and yet I didn't feel any different. Until a sharp pain struck my head and I held my head in my hands as I tried not to scream. The pain shift and I felt something forming on my face. I got up from my bed a little wobbly but kept on and went to the bathroom.

Looking in the mirror at my own reflection, I saw a white Grimm mask forming. Covering my eyes, my mouth, and my face. I was scared, I than held my fingers towards the mask, trying to rip it free. But it wasn't budging, so I pulled it a bit more harder until I felt the mask crack in the middle, falling off to the floor but still intact.

I was happy it wasn't on my face but something sinister about it didn't sit right with me. I took the mask and threw it in the trashcan.Not knowing that the eye holes, where mines were supposed to be.Glowed bright crimson Red.

Back to the present

Beep. .Beep. .Beep. .

I heard a heart monitor beep ever so slightly, next to me. The beeping kept going as I slowly opened my eyes, to bright white light. The monitor beeped faster as my heart was pounding.

Beep. Beep. Beep.

I tried to get up but my body was so heavy. And my left arm was aching as I saw a case on it all the way up to my shoulders.

So rubbing my eyes with the arm that isn't killing me, I finally adjusted to the light. Then I saw her, the most delicate and beautiful flower I've ever seen.

Her white hair in a ponytail, her pale white skin shining under the light with her white and red outfit. She was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. .

My heart skipped a beat, the same time as the heart monitor next to me.

Hearing the noise, Weiss stir in her sleep and then slowly opened her eyes.

Her light icy blue eyes stared straight at my sliver ones, and then she got up and rushed towards my side, but not before she threw her both arms around my neck, hugging me hard "Ruby!"

I whined at the sudden movement, and I felt the pain in my left shoulder. Weiss may have heard my reaction and she let go of me but not fully.

Using my good arm I smiled and held her back. "It's good to see your awake, sister"

Said Yang in the back of Weiss, "Yeah. But.. how did I get here?, I know I was laying on the ground, unconscious. So how?" I asked

"We found you and Blake went to go get professor Ozpin" Weiss answered, her voice was near my ear and I blushed red at the contact.

"So don't worry about how you got here, worrying on relaxing, you need it" Blake said next to Yang and I smiled "thanks guys..."

Weiss finally let go of me and smiled, she then leaned in and kissed my cheek, my mind was now spinning as I blushed again more redder then my crimson cloak.

Weiss also blushed but this time she didn't ran away like last time, she stayed by my side. Even when yang and Blake already left a few hours ago, she still stood by me.

I was happy, not worrying about the mask, or my demon. I was just happy.

Weiss laid next to me on the hospital bed refusing to leave me alone, she fell asleep soon after she won the argument.

My left shoulder was giving better, a lot better, and my guess is that it has to do with the demon.

I shook my head as I bend my arm, breaking the case apart and throwing punches at the air.

Be careful

The voice suddenly spokeWhat do you mean?

I mean that someone, is here. .more powerful and more deadly

How can that be? We're protected by barriers around vale

I know what I sense! She's closer, you have to get out of there!

The voice said and I looked towards Weiss trying to wake her up

Just leave her, she'll only slow you down!

"I'm not leaving her!" I said and hearing the commotion Weiss finally woke up "Weiss, we have to leave."

She looked at me with sleepy eyes and a bit of confusion mixed in it " why? Are you okay? And what happened to your arm? Is it better already?" She was asking to many questions, so I took her hand and led her to the closest of the nursery's room, it was small but it had to do, I went in pulling Weiss with me.

Just as I closed the closest door in time, the other door to the a nursery room opened, the door slamming against the wall as it was swung open.

Weiss gasped and I cover her mouth with my hand, telling her to not make a sound. The figure that walked in had on a black and red outfit, her skin was a deadly white and her hair was also white, it was in a bun and when she moved her face towards the closest, her eyes were a red Irises with black Scleras. It soon clicked in my mind, her. She was the same woman who gave me this curse, Why is she here?

The woman slowly walked towards the closest as if she could see through. Weiss was trying to not make a sound and as was I. Who knows what she'll do once she finds us.

And plus, I look down towards Weiss, her head was near my chest and I took this opportunity to hold her closer. I'll do anything in my power to protect her. . . Even costing my own life.

"Hm.." the woman then walked back to the nursery door. I felt something move in front of me, I looked at Weiss and saw her head was about to move back as if she had to sneeze.

No! She's almost out the door! I can't let her find us.

I then thought of something and I slowly moved more face towards Weiss, as Weiss was about to sneeze and dove in and kissed her lips with my own.

She was surprised at first, but kissed back and her sneezing calmed down.

The door to the nursery closed and I was relieved that the woman had left. I was going to pull back from Weiss but instead I fell and the door to the closest opened, me and Weiss fell to the floor, I was on top of Weiss while she was under me. The look at her face was priceless, but then again, my face was probably the same.

Finally getting our senses together, I got up from the floor and pulled Weiss up as well, she hit my chest with her head and I blushed.

Pulling away from her. "A..anyways, um..let's get out of here before that woman comes back" I said and Weiss nodded.

I went to the door and slowly opened it when I heard him again

Wait!! Don't!!

But it was too late, the door was opened and in front of me was the woman that was here before, and behind her was a black headed girl with a crimson and yellow outfit, her amber eyes pouring into my slivers.

The woman in black then looked at me and said in a dark and deep voice.

"Finally found you, Ruby Rose"
