Chapter 10: Light Sparkling; Darkness Raising.
Once Sonic, Tails, and Amy landed the plane, Sonic immediately got Rouge into his and Tails' house. The group also explained to Cream, Cheese, Vanilla, and Coco what happened at Angel Island. "Oh my, that was quite a surprise," Vanilla says with a bit of surprise. She then smiles. "But I knew you would all be able to stop Dr. Eggman," she added.
Sonic, Tails, and Amy smile to the older rabbit. Cream looks to Rouge, who continues to remain unconscious on the couch. "Is Rouge going to be okay?" she asks with worry.
Sonic looks to Cream as he pets her head. "Don't worry, she'll be good as new in the morning," he replies to the young rabbit. The blue hedgehog then noticed Coco looking around the room for someone. Remembering Sassy and her friends, Sonic looks to Tails and Amy. "Come on, let's go find Sassy and the others," he says to the two.
Tails and Amy nod in agreement. "And it should be easy to find them," the fox says to the group. Noticing a lot of confused expressions, Tails points to the band on Sonic's arm. "With that, we can track down Lunaura… or I think that's what Sassy's friends call it," he answers the unannounced question.
Amy still gave Tails a confused expression. "How would that band help us find it?" she asks the two-tailed fox.
"I've noticed several times when watching it. The moment Sonic took off, the band on Lunaura's arm stops glowing. The glow returned the moment Sonic came back. And Sonic's band was glowing when Lunaura arrived. Eggman must have made these bands as tracking devices to track down whoever worn them," said Tails with confidence.
Sonic looks to the band with surprise, but also with concern. He didn't think the band could be like a tracker. If that is the case, he worries if he should stick around here. He could be putting Tails and the others in danger. Not only that, there could be more about the band than Tails thinks. First, the band can zap him which could leave him vulnerable to any attack Eggman might have in store for him. Second, he was able to understand Lunaura, a Pikachu.
Before Sonic could get too involved with his thoughts, Coco looks to the group with surprise. "L-Luna is here too?" she asks the group. Everyone turned their attention to Coco, who is now thinking a bit. She then looks to the blue hedgehog and his friends. "Will it be okay if I go with you guys?" she asks.
Sonic looks to his friends and noticed the nervous looks they gave out. Sonic then looks to Coco. "I don't think that's a good idea. Why don't you wait here with Cream and Cheese?" he suggests to the raccoon.
Coco flinches at the idea. After all, if Lunaura is here, then there is a chance that her brother is close by as well. "But… What if my big brother is there?" she asks again.
Amy walks to Coco and gently places her hand on the raccoon's head. "Don't worry, I'm sure your big brother will be fine," she says to Coco with a gentle smile.
Coco still had a look of worry. True, she came here without permission, but she doesn't want to sit around and do nothing. She admits that hanging out with Cream and her family was a lot of fun. They got to know each other, had a tea party, and played some games. However, it still didn't help her finding where the Lunar Gems are. Although, as soon as she looks to Amy, the raccoon noticed some similarities she sees in Sassy when it comes to that smile the pink hedgehog shows. Coco then nods to let Amy know she understands.
Sonic smiles to Coco and gives her a thumbs up. "Great! We'll be back with your friends before you know it," he says with confidence. He then looks to Tails and Amy. "Come on. Let's go find the others," he says to them while he gets ready to take off.
Tails, on the other hand, has been thinking when he first heard Coco's suggestion. If he remembers correctly, Sassy mentions to the raccoon a method that could "call" the magenta hedgehog back. If that is the case, there would be no need to look for her nor her friends. Hearing Sonic about to take off, he stops the blue hedgehog. "Wait Sonic, I've thought of a better idea," he quickly says!
Sonic looks to Tails with a surprised and confused expression. Before he could ask the fox what's wrong, the blue hedgehog sees Tails walk to Coco. "Coco, you can help us," he says to the raccoon. Coco looks to Tails with a confused expression, but she's also excited to see she can help… she just needs to know what that is. The fox continues to look at the raccoon. "You can use that trick Sassy told you to use," he mentions to what he remembers the conversation Coco had with Sassy.
Coco looks down at her hands and then back up to Tails. "The emergency call?" she questions. "But, Sas only wants me to use it if it's an emergency," she says with concern.
Tails nods to show he agrees. "That is true, but this is an emergency. Sassy and her friends are planning to meet up with us since there wasn't enough room on my plane for them. But Sassy and her friends are still new around mobius. Which means, they don't know their way around here. We need you to send out a signal to help guide them back here," he explains his plan.
Sonic thinks more about Tails' idea, and then gives a smile and a thumbs up. "Great idea Tails," he says to the fox! The blue hedgehog then looks to Coco. "So kid, do you think you can give us a hand?" he asks the raccoon.
Coco looks to Sonic and his friends with a smile as she salutes. "Yes sir," she says to the blue hedgehog and the others. She lets out a giggle as she skips outside.
Sonic and the others follow Coco outside. Once everyone is outside, including Cream, Cheese, and Vanilla, the raccoon makes a crystal in a shape of a star and throws it into the air to send it flying. Like last time, the crystal, in midair, bursts immediately as it creates a light turquoise shine in its place.
Cream watches the little sparkles, created by the crystal, fall like little fireflies, and wonders if this can really work. She looks to her mother with some concern. "Do you think Coco's friends can really see that signal from wherever they're at?" she asks.
Vanilla watches the sparkles as well. "I'm sure Coco's friends have a way to see it. If Sassy reminded Coco of it, they might already see it and are on their way," she says to her daughter with a smile. She watches Cream smile back to her. The young rabbit then looks around with Sonic, Tails, Amy, and Cheese.
A bright flash appeared near a pile of destroyed robots. When the light faded, Sassy, Stitch, Kekeionga, and Lunaura took its place. Stitch examines the broken robot parts. "Man Lunaura, you sure went through a lot of trouble to destroy a bunch of robots. Do robots make you cranky that quickly?" he says to the white Pikachu.
Lunaura glares a bit at Stitch as she gets off Kekeionga's shoulder. Sassy took the time to look at the robots and shows a look of concern. "But why are there so many robots?" she suddenly questions. The magenta hedgehog turns to the white Pikachu. "Do you know why Eggman sent so many robots out here?" she asks.
Lunaura shows an annoyed expression at Sassy. "Pika," she says in annoyance. She then looks to Kekeionga, who is now staring at her.
"Keke, tell Sassy the robots were attacking another robot. And the next time she asks, she won't understand me in this state."
Kekeionga sighs a bit while shaking her head. She then turns to Sassy. "Sassy, don't try to ask Lunaura too much when she's like this. It'll be hard for you to understand her," she says to the magenta hedgehog. Ignoring Sassy's confused expression, the purple echidna continues. "And to answer your question, she said these robots were attacking another robot," she then answers.
Sassy looks back to the robot as more questions start to form. "What does Eggman want with that one robot?" she questions again while looking towards Kekeionga and Lunaura.
Lunaura's annoyed expression changes back to a glare while Kekeionga sighs a bit once more. "Ladies," Stitch announces. The three females turn to the yellow-blue hedgehog, who is watching them with an amused look. "I'd love to see you guys play twenty questions," he states. The amused expression fades as a serious version takes place. "But, we need to find those other folks as soon as possible. We need to come up with a plan to find the Lunar Gems," he then says to the group.
Lunaura nods in agreement, but freezes when she feels something off, something she does not want sense at this time. The white Pikachu looks around the area, ignoring all the broken robots. Looking towards the edge of the woods, Lunaura starts to growl as she stands on all fours and the heart gem, attached to her lavender collar, changes from yellow to pink.
"Something's here."
Kekeionga flinches as she looks to Lunaura, who is glaring and growling at the edge of the woods. She tries to see what the white Pikachu sees, but noticed something glowing on her. Everyone, including Lunaura, stopped what they're doing for each of their turquoise stars started glowing. Sassy showed a shocked look as she looks towards the others. "Guys, that's Coco's signal! She might be in trouble," she says with a panicked expression.
Lunaura sighs a bit until she hears something at a certain distance the others failed to pick up, a low howl. The white Pikachu glares at the direction she hears the howl and makes a growl. Remembering Kekeionga and the others, Lunaura turns to the purple echidna.
Kekeionga suddenly feels someone calling for her. Knowing who it is, she looks down to Lunaura and sees her on all fours with a serious expression. "Lunaura, what is it?" she asks with a bit of worry.
"Something might be heading this way. If it's what I think it is, you and the others need to get to Coco quickly before they try to find her."
Kekeionga shows a look of shock. Is Lunaura going to be fighting something? And if so, is she doing it alone? Kekeionga's worry expression grew. "Lunaura, we are not letting you fight whatever is coming alone. I'm sure if we work together-" Kekeionga was suddenly stopped by Lunaura's growl.
"We don't have time Keke! Just get to Coco with Sassy and Stitch quickly!"
Before Kekeionga can stop Lunaura, the white Pikachu already took off into the woods she was glaring at before. Stitch and Sassy noticed Lunaura leaving quickly. "What's up with her?" the yellow-blue hedgehog asks with a confused expression.
Kekeionga sighs sadly as she looks to Sassy and Stitch. "Lunaura senses something and it's not good. She needs us to get to Coco as fast as we can before what's coming gets to her," she says to the two hedgehogs.
Sassy shows a panicked expression as she looks at the direction Lunaura took off and then back to Coco's signal. Once she turns back to where Lunaura took off, she frowns in worry. "Shouldn't we help Lunaura?" she asks.
Kekeionga shakes her head in response after a little sigh. "Lunaura wants us to focus on getting to Coco first. Once there, we can keep her and the others safe if Lunaura were to fail," she replies.
Sassy has her hands to her fists. "We should probably help Lunaura that way the threat can be taken care of," the magenta hedgehog states as she makes her hammer appear.
Unfortunately, Stitch steps in. "But what if there is another set of them heading towards Coco and the others as we speak?" he asks Sassy. Seeing the magenta hedgehog's shocked expression, the yellow-blue hedgehog sighs as he gently places his hand on her shoulder. "I understand why you and perhaps Keke want to help Lunaura, but we have to make sure we can get to Coco in time before they get to her. We must use the time Lunaura is giving us to get to her," he says in a serious expression.
Sassy looks to Stitch and then to Kekeionga. Yes, they both are worried as well, but they have that serious look in their eyes. She takes one last look at the direction Lunaura took off to and then back to the other two and nods. "Alright," she says with a sigh. "Come on, lets follow Coco's signal," she then states while running towards the signal. Kekeionga and Stitch follow right behind her.
*WARNING STARTS HERE*
Lunaura had managed to track down the dark presence she detected. In front of her, are four black canine looking creatures with pupil less gold irises. All of their mouths are blood red, as if they have been eating something. Yet, these dark canines' teeth remained red, even with the blood around them. As soon as they saw the white Pikachu, three of the canines stopped what they were feasting on and growled madly at her as if she is a threat to them.
Lunaura couldn't really see what they were eating, but she knew she has to get rid of them. They don't belong in this world. Mint electricity sparks out of her cheeks as she glares at the canines. The three canines charge at the white Pikachu as they extended their dark green claws.
Seeing the canines heading towards her, Lunaura quickly dodges the three and sends out a bunch of mint electricity at them. Two of the canines have been zapped and stutter. The third manages to avoid Lunaura's electricity and uses its tail to attack her. Lunaura uses her own tail, as it glows turquoise, to block the canine's tail. As soon as the canine's tail comes into contact with the white Pikachu's tail, its body starts to glow and disappears in a burst of light.
Lunaura looks back to the other two black canines, who are whimpering from the electric shocks, with a smirk. She charges at them and smacks them with her still turquoise glowing tail. Like the previous canine, the two stunned canines fade the same way.
Noticing its comrades are no longer present, the fourth canine stops what it was doing to glare at Lunaura. Now, the white Pikachu was able to see what the canines were guarding. There appears to be a small dead bird looking creature, it's a little hard to tell with all of the blood around it. Cringing a bit, Lunaura growls at the canine as she prepares to fight.
Before Lunaura and the remaining black canine can fight, another small bird looking creature, that has sky-blue feathers and yellow beak, comes out of a tree, and attacks the canine creature the best it could due to the size difference. The canine creature glares at the strange bird as it reveals dark green claws. The white Pikachu gasps when she saw those claws as her tail stops glowing. Quickly, she charges to the bird as she jumps. Lunaura successfully catches the creature with her back against the canine creature. However, the canine manages to scratch the white Pikachu's back.
Lunaura screeches a bit from the pain as she lands on her right side. The small bird creature escapes the white Pikachu's grasp to see what happened. It noticed four long scratch marks on Lunaura's back. But to its surprise, instead of seeing blood seeping out, it sees something dark blue seeping out of the white Pikachu's wounds. The bird creature was gently moved away from Lunaura and the canine by a white tail. Lunaura slowly stands up on her two back legs as she glares at the canine. The white Pikachu starts to have sparks pop out of her cheeks, but instead of a mint color, the electric bolts are now a turquoise color.
Lunaura then launches a bunch of turquoise electricity at the black canine creature. The canine comes in contact with the electricity as it starts whimpering. The black creature then fades away as the electricity continues to harm it. Once the black canine is gone, the white Pikachu stops her attack as she starts to deep breath. She wants to see how bad the wound is on her back, but she can't see it. Lunaura then noticed the bird creature lands next to the bloody one with a sad expression. The white Pikachu takes a step, but stumbles until she's on all fours again. The pained expression can easily be seen on her face. Those scratches must really hurt. Lunaura shakes her head to not think about that right now as she walks to where the bird creature is on all fours, to make walking easier.
The little bird creature had tears in its eyes as it chirps sadly. Lunaura's ears went down as she sighs sadly. It may not be her loss, but she can relate losing someone close. The white Pikachu then looks to the ground and starts digging. The creature looks to Lunaura with a teary confused look as a small hole starts to take place on the area the Pikachu dug. Lunaura then pops out of the hole as she gently pushes the bloody bird creature into the hole. Seeing what the Pikachu is doing, the sky-blue bird flies to a tree filled with flowers. By the time it returned with a flower, Lunaura had successfully buried its dead companion, despite some of the blood stain on Lunaura's fur.
Lunaura sees the bird creature place a flower on top of the spot she buried its dead friend. The creature lands next to the Pikachu and finally starts crying. Lunaura looks at the little bird creature with her ears still down. Softly, she wraps her tail around the bird to bring some comfort. The Pikachu then closes her eyes to pay her respect to the little bird's companion. The creature watches Lunaura and smiles the best it could. Little did they know, the turquoise stars on the pikachu's pink cheeks started to glow.
A little turquoise glow started to shine from a far. The glow then travels until it reaches to Lunaura and the little bird creature. The creature looks to the glowing object with surprise. The Pikachu opens her eyes when she sees something glowing in front of her. The glow lands in between Lunaura and the little grave. The glow then fades to reveal a turquoise star-shaped jewel. The Pikachu shows a shocked expression as she stands on her back legs to pick up the gem. Suddenly, she hears a screech in the distance. Lunaura turns to the direction where she heard the screech.
"I see you managed to retrieve one of the Lunar Gems," a masculine voice says. The little bird creature got spooked by the presence of someone much taller and flies away. Lunaura curses herself for not being able to detect any sort of presence. Luckily for her, the voice rings a harmless bell to her brain. So, she knows she isn't in any danger. "Although, I also wasn't expecting to run into you while trying to track down Coco. So, what's the deal with your back? And, why aren't you running to my sister's signal?" the voice asks.
Lunaura huffs as she looks at the little grave. "Pika," she says a bit quietly. She hears footsteps walking closer to her and the grave. She then hears something being wrapped and placed on her back. It made her jolt a bit and growls at the figure behind her.
"Relax, I just placed a bandage on your back to stop your bleeding for the night. You can take it off when it's morning," the masculine voice says. Lunaura relaxes a bit as she waits for another response from the figure behind her. "So, I'm assuming they are in this world too? After all, it seems they got to someone who died from one of their attacks," the voice says, noting about the small grave. The Pikachu nods in response.
"I see," the masculine voice said. Lunaura's ears twitched a bit as she has a surprise look. The figure seems to have caught that response. "It looks like we have to do some more "cleaning"," he states a bit sarcastically.
Lunaura rolls her eyes a bit with an annoyed look. "Pika pi… Pika…," she mumbles. The Pikachu suddenly feels a bit drained from the blood loss and pain from earlier along with the sudden death of that one creature. She lies down a bit while holding the turquoise star gem.
Lunaura suddenly feels someone picking her up. There, she can see the figure wearing fingerless red right and yellow left gloves and long dark red sleeves. "You should rest a bit. You look like you've been through hell and back," she hears the masculine voice say in concern. The Pikachu eye narrows in suspicion but lays on the left arm of the figure and grips on to the turquoise star gem.
The figure is a male mint colored fox with flame-colored irises, tip of his tail and muzzle have white, a turquoise star is on the tip of his tail, dark red long sleeve shirt with a silver belt holding a light turquoise sword with a turquoise star in the middle, long dark blue jeans, and yellow right and left red shoes. He stares at the area he saw the signal along with the direction he heard the screech from earlier and starts running to where they are at while holding Lunaura and the star gem.

Sonic and the others continue to wait for Sassy and her friends. It has been about two hours since the signal; but for the blue hedgehog, it feels like it's been longer than that. "Tails, I don't think this plan is working," he says to his two-tailed fox brother.
Tails frowns a bit as he looks around to see if Sassy and her friends are here yet. Apparently, that is a no. He sighs as he looks to Sonic. "We should wait a little longer in case," he suggests.
Sonic shakes his head as he starts stretching a bit. "Well, I'm going to go look for them," he says as he gets ready to run off. Before he could take his first step, the blue hedgehog hears something in the bushes. He turns towards Tails with a shrug. "Okay, you win buddy," he states to the fox.
Tails looks to the bushes with Coco, Amy, Cream, and Vanilla. To their disappointment, excluding Sonic's, a black robot appears out of the bushes. The fox sighs as he looks to Sonic with a bit of annoyed expression. "Looks like Eggman's robots are able to find us," he says to the blue hedgehog.
Coco starts to shiver. She's been feeling a dark presence when the bushes rustled. When a black robot comes out of the bushes, the raccoon started to have a panicked expression. Something about that robot isn't right… Seeing Sonic about to attack the robot, the raccoon quickly grabs him and tries to drag him back into their house. "No," she says quickly while trying to drag the blue hedgehog back to the house.
Amy watches Coco with a confused look. "Why Coco? Is something wrong?" she asks the raccoon. The pink hedgehog watches Coco stare back at the bushes which also show the black robot heading straight for them. Amy gasps a bit as she gets out her hammer. "What the?" she questions.
Sonic looks back to the black robot calmly. That is, until he sees it charging towards him and his friends. "Whoah, that's a hostile looking fella. I didn't expect Eggman to create a hostile robot at this part of the day," he says in a bit of surprise.
Before Sonic can go attack the black robot, Coco's grip grew as he continues to feel the raccoon pulling him into his and Tails' house. "No, it's dangerous! We need to go inside," she said to everyone with a panicked expression!
Sonic questions Coco's behavior until he sees the black robot getting closer to him. Amy noticed the robot closing in on Sonic and Coco! She quickly gets her hammer and smacks the creature away. "Back off you freak," she shouts!
The black robot crashes to a tree. Sonic, Tails, and Amy got ready to fight the robot, but were once again getting shoved back to the house by Coco. "We need to get to safety," the raccoon says to the three with the same panicked expression!
The black robot, once it got up, starts to pull out a black nun chuck. Sonic and his friends notice five more of the same robots appearing from the shadows in the woods. Tails starts to back up to the house a bit as he pulls out his device to see what's going on with these robots. "Let me see if I can scan them to understand what Eggman implanted them with," he says to the group.
Coco shakes her head to disagree. "No, they are dangerous," she exclaimed! Noticing her, Sonic, Tails, and now Amy still outside, the young raccoon pushes them to the house with more force. "We can't stay out here," Coco exclaims more with panic!
Amy looked to Coco with concern. "Why? Is there something wrong?" she asks to raccoon. "Please tell us," she pleaded gently. The black robots suddenly made a screech like noise that had her and everyone else cover their ears. The pink hedgehog looked at the metal machines and noticed they are facing at a different direction.
Sonic, while keeping his ears covered, took this opportunity to spin-dash the robot making the screeching noise come to a stop. Once the screech is completely gone, Sonic gave out a victory smirk as he stares down the defeated robot. "Not so tough now, are you?" he taunts to the robots.
One of the black robots launched its arm at Tails, Amy, and Coco in attempt to attack, but the three mobians dodged with ease. Unfortunately, Tails accidentally drops a mini version of the Master Emerald that was seen on Knuckles's island. "Oh no, the emerald," Tails exclaimed!
Sonic looks to Tails and then the emerald he mentioned. Seeing it lying on the floor, the blue hedgehog attempted to go after it; but then, one of the black robots attempted to attack him, pushing him away from the emerald.
To Tails' surprise, when the robots managed to get in between him and his friends, the robots completely ignored the Chaos Emerald and are still aiming their weapons at them. 'That's strange… Usually, Eggman would have all of his robots chasing the Chaos Emeralds. But these robots aren't even paying attention to it. What are they interested in?' he thought to himself.
Coco noticed the black robots eying her which caused her to shiver. Something inside her told the little raccoon to run before those metal figures get to her. Just as soon as that got to her head, the robots launched more of their attacks that had Sonic and Tails be separated from Amy and Coco. The pink hedgehog sees the robot with the nun chuck charging towards them. Amy quickly gets in between the robot and Coco as she uses her hammer to block it.
Sonic, as he pushes three of the black robots away, noticed the danger Amy and Coco were in. However, just as he was about to help, the fourth robot manages to pin him down. Cream noticed this from afar and wants to help but was held back by her mother.
Amy continues to do her best to hold back the robot, but she can feel that limit is coming to an end. She continues to push the black metallic creature back with her eyes shut tight despite hearing her friends scream for her.
A piko sound was heard and the robot's pressure had disappeared. Amy opened her eyes and noticed a mint and light turquoise hammer similar to hers. The owner of that hammer was from a magenta hedgehog she just met, Sassy. Sonic and the others were just as shocked to see Sassy appear and charging straight at the robot with a strange light turquoise aura surrounding her. Suddenly, the robot pinning Sonic was being levitated into the air by a strange force. The blue hedgehog looked up and noticed a pink aura around it and then tossed away. Sonic, Tails, Cream, Vanilla, and Cheese look back to the woods and noticed Kekeionga standing there as her headband, bandages, and gloves were having the same pink glow.
Stitch jumps from a tree and charges straight at the black robot with the same aura around him as Sassy does. He applies to pressure of his aura to the metallic figure and watches the black around it vanish. Once the pink glow on both Kekeionga and the robot disappears, the yellow hedgehog then destroys it and lands in between the blue hedgehog and two-tailed fox and the other three robots. Stitch then turns to Sassy who is glaring at the final robot. "Hey Sas, don't hold back on these robots," he states.
Sassy, surprisingly, makes a huff noise. "Of course," she replies with certain. "After all, man-made creations like these had harmed my parents. I refuse to let that happen to another family member while I'm here," she added. Sassy then opens her eyes, which revealed to be glowing turquoise. Without hesitation, she smashes to robot with the nun chucks to the group along with adding a hint of pressure from the turquoise energy around her. Seeing the robot smashed to pieces, the magenta hedgehog glares at the three remaining. "Amy, you and Coco go with Keke and the others inside. Stitch and I will handle them," she says to the two behind her.
Amy and Coco were both about to deny Sassy's orders, but they are now being dragged to the house by the purple echidna herself. Sonic nods a bit to himself as he gets up easily. He quickly rushes to grab the Chaos Emerald and hands it to Tails. "Tails, you follow the girls into the house. I'm staying here to squash more of these bolt bots," he says to the two-tailed fox.
Tails nods as he mentions for Sonic to be careful. Once he, Kekeionga, Coco, Amy, Cream, Cheese, and Vanilla are in the house. Stitch glances to the blue hedgehog. "We can handle this ourselves. You don't know what these robots could be holding," he says with a serious expression.
Sonic smirks to Stitch. "Ha, I'm the world's fastest hedgehog. They'll have to keep up with me," he states to the yellow hedgehog. "Besides, I know all about taking out robots especially those made by Eggman. And you two know how to take out whatever that black stuff is. Plus, it's now a three-on-three," he added.
It was Stitch's turn to smirk back. "I like your guts dude. Just try to keep your end of the task," he says to the blue hedgehog.
