Shortly after I did my assessment, I walked over to my allies, Sylvie, and Nova. We were discussing what scores we think we got. Honestly I didn't care what I'll get, it didn't matter to me. All that matters is to survive. A stupid score isn't gonna change that.
"Hey guys, do you think if we don't score well we'll still be allies?" Nova asked me and Sylvie.
"Of course we will, the scores are stupid anyways." I responded.
"Yeah I agree, don't worry about it." Sylvie tells Nova.
I looked up at the clock, it was 5 minutes from the score announcement. I looked at the boy from 10, who was excitedly waiting for her assessment score. I mean, I get it, you want to be the best. But being the best in the Hunger Games is a death trap just waiting for you.
I sighed as I slumped onto the couch as Capitol TV came on.
