What does Xanatos do when his right hand man can't babysit? He asks the gargoyles of course! And maybe the clan's human friends if they're busy... Inspired by ChelleNorlund's review of Pop goes the Toast. Note: Alex's age can vary chapter to chapter but he will be younger than 12 if I chose to go that high.

Nashville

Third Person

"Nashville, watch Alexander until I return." Owen plopped the baby in his lap.

"Uh, ok." Nashville looked at Alex. He drooled.

Owen left and the young gargoyle turned the baby to face him. Nashville paused the game he was playing.

"I remember meeting you in the future. We became best friends. You were an adult then. I hadn't seen you since then. It was weird seeing you as a baby at first, but I'm used to it now. You wanna play some games?" He asked.

Alex smiled.

Owen came back to Nashville teaching Alex how to play. Alex's chubby little hands hit the buttons with enthusiasm. Nashville held him in his lap and told him what to do. Owen entered the room. Alex noticed and wanted Owen to sit. He sat then watched the boys play. Nashville took over once Alex wanted to be Owen again. They stayed for a hour before it was Alex's naptime. Alex hugged the gargoyle.
